“We were given 48 hours to supply the buses and were promised that they would be paid for immediately as the funding for the buses was already in place.

“On this basis, we got letters from the Urban Development Bank and supplied 1,250 buses, which were launched in Abuja by the Federal Government.

“Sadly, since we supplied the buses, we have been forced to contend with the federal government bureaucracy and unnecessary delays to pay us our money.” - Representatives of Suppliers of Subsidy Buses

A government that is fraudulent will always seek ways and means of cheating people while planning to fail woefully all the time. How do they expect these guys to sustain their businesses? The hurriedly brought this measure up as a means of further deceived Nigeria will an ill-packaged SURE-P that died as soon as it was birthed!

Dr. Kolade has been blabbing rubbish about some savings. The money should be returned to the coffers of state as we have since confirmed all Nigerians were right about subsidy being a fraud. It is so painful that a reputable person like Kolade could agree to bring himself so low for idiots in government to rubbish his hard worn goodwill over the years from hard work.

If you observe carefully, you will find this government suffers from a deficit of goodwill and trust they brought on themselves. As it were, all we have been seeing by way of government action is the setting up of all sorts of committees co-opting leading lights for want of credibility but without the vision to drive things and that they need to key into. This government has been a fraud since 2010 and is poised to remain so until 2015.

A CALL TO SALVAGE OUR HERITAGE

Fellow compatriots!

These are desperate times. These are avoidable trying moments caused by the wickedness of a few. More than ever, Nigeria is at crossroads.

At one time, it was the resources from Northern Nigeria that sustained the  colony and protectorates of Northern and Southern Nigeria as well as the resourcefulness of the Igbo man and the Yoruba man that sustained and nurtured the entire nation. The evidence is still there till this day in the deep gashes into the bellies of the earth to extract minerals for export in Northern Nigeria over many years before independence and long before oil was discovered in Oloibiri in 1968. Until this very present second, not a dime has been paid to Northern Nigeria by way of compensation for loss of farm and animal grazing lands and other economic activities neither is any form of derivation funds given to that part of the country in spite of the fact that till this very second, mineral exploration is still going on in the Northern states for export and local construction work which contribute to national revenue.

We are living witnesses of so many atrocities perpetrated against innocent Nigerians across the land. We have seen greedy men who had sold their lives to Satan and embraced alcoholism and the marrying of wives and sale of their brethren into slavery for mere pittance in exchange for jewelry, gold and petty ephemeral things for a living. While the going was good, they did not develop their lands, neither did they care. They impoverished their brethren and they migrated to many parts in Nigeria along riverine areas and persistently fomented trouble with their benevolent hosts. Our recent history is replete with so much of the crises and blood shed they have brought to our land from time immemorial and yet they did not develop their lands. From the colonial period to this day, they have had eminent persons in government and so much money has been given to them through various forms of formulas over time, so much more than to any other part of the country, but their leaders feast on the monies and failed to develop their lands. They did not build hospitals or schools neither did they provide even pipe borne water for their people. Many in the riverine communities died of curable diseases that were believed to be curses from the gods as they believe so much in puerile gods and excessive witchcraft who have brought them no progress but foolishness. All they needed were drugs and simple surgical operations which their leaders failed to provide for them.

Erudite and well respected Nigerians from their land including the late Ken Saro Wiwa of blessed memory took up their plight and fought it in civilized way. They began to score modest successes until the fight over sharing of financial largesse doled out generously to them by oil concerns and  the federal government tore them apart and led them to slaughter one another and there was a lot of back stabbing and betrayal of a legitimate cause as can be seen in the antecedents of their leaders in times past and even very recently. This led eventually to the illegal execution of their genuine freedom fighters who had been set up by their kith and kin who provided substantial evidence against them by the military government of Gen. Sani Abacha.

Then the real betrayers of the cause from the inner creeks, men who did absolutely nothing for a living but ran the business of killing, kidnapping and bombing of critical infrastructure and all forms of economic sabotage including oil bunkering took over. For many years, they killed and maimed and raped. They worked hand-in-gloves with their traditional rulers and governors not to do the needful to provide essential infrastructure but to share the monies from political patronage, the death enterprise including bombing, from oil companies Community Social Responsibility efforts, kidnapping and illegal oil bunkering. In addition, they had also infiltrated military formations to procure weapons of mass destruction illegally for millions of Naira. They chose to embrace crime of various sorts as a means of livelihood. Every kobo given to them for the development of their lands was hijacked and shared consistently for many years resulting in their present state of underdevelopment. The notorious arms cartel also was birthed by them.

Initially, they tore at each other's throats until criminal governors including two indicted and jailed persons united them for the purpose of the evils of kidnapping, increased economic sabotage and so much more while they pretended to negotiate with the boys for the release of hostages.

When their son, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan had the privilege by virtue of Late President Umaru Musa Yar'dua's (of blessed memory) demise troublesome elements who claim to speak for the North but speak for themselves -- senile men who had lost their commonsense and who had betrayed their people over the years stealing the resources also meant for the development of their lands, made so much irrelevant noise and sought to breach the provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on ascendancy to the Presidency and consequently deny President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, well meaning Nigerians from the South and part of the North, including yours sincerely, lashed out at Adamu Ciroma and called him unprintable names which he deserved for his stupid and senseless statements that made it look like ascension to the presidency was the exclusive preserve of the North (not the real North of our law abiding and hard working Northern brothers and sisters but a few lunatics who had always been at the corridors of power and felt they alone had that right). We insisted that the provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria were sacred and in as much as they had not been amended, the provisions must be respected and Jonathan must be sworn in as substantive president. We did this in good faith for the following reasons:

1. If the provisions of the constitution were flouted to do otherwise, it would be a bad precedence and could lead to the collapse of the republic as anyone seeking to breach it further at any other time would readily cite that instance to advance evil causes.

2. In line with the foregoing, it was done to retain some level of civilization in our discourse. Instead, what do we find? We find a blame game like little babies in diapers and senseless talk about killing each other.

3. We saw youthfulness in the person of Goodluck Jonathan and we felt he was well educated.

4. We did not see religion or ethnicity as criterion,  but it was the general opinion that other parts of the country should have a go at the presidency.

5. We also felt that this would also pacify the people of the Niger Delta and give them a sense of belonging to have had their son and our brother in power to complete the Late President's tenure as they had both run on a joint ticket.

We watched carefully to see him perform and as months went by, we saw instead the systematic plundering of the nation's resources mindlessly and we saw monumental theft of funds within the first 9 months as the man who had no shoes and his boys stole with both hands and legs systematically while Olusegun Aganga and Chukwuma Soludo and consequently Sanusi Lamido Sanusi watched. Our reserves for the rainy day were looted dry leaving barely about $400m in just 9 months. We saw no plans to truly develop infrastructure and we saw prodigious gains from oil sales coming in everyday in trillions of Naira and yet nothing in terms of vision to move the nation forward. We gleaned from the CBN Quarterly Reports for the period and noticed the alarming rate at which we were losing money to official graft. We saw a monumental rise in internal debts and a return to external borrowing for no just investment purpose. We screamed at the top of our voices. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala also screamed. Soludo Chukwuma also screamed. Obiageli Ezekwesili also screamed but my country men chose to be deaf, believed lies and concocted figures about key economic indices and falsified figures based on false premises about growth for positive Fitch rating. We also saw an attempt to fraudulently revise our GDP benchmark figures by the Federal Office of Statistics just because Ghana did same and forgetting that thriving industries under the Obasanjo tenure were dying and all we were getting were vibrant kidnapping, bombing and robbery industries as well as the notorious merchants of death who traded in arms and bombs. The tone was indeed set for what we experience today.

We are living witnesses of all that ensued as the polity was heated up to fever pitch over irrelevant talk of mad people and many Nigerians took sides and allowed sentiments to reign and overpower commonsense. Today, we are regaled daily but sadly with sordid and blood chilling details and revelations of our pandering to sentiments above the dictates of reason and commonsense.

As at the time of the preparations for the 2011 Elections, this government still had no concrete plans to do anything in particular and all we heard from a serious presidential candidate who had better opportunity to show case outstanding achievements during the campaign had none but kept on telling us that he did not want to make promises but we will see what he will do after so many broken promises. We saw a president who ran away from debates with his co-contestants. Of course, we are seeing the things he said he would do everyday in the mayhem that has taken over our land.

The entire nation was rocked to its roots with the bomb blast on October 1, 2010 on Independence Day. Prior to the celebrations, we had woken up one morning to find disdainful posts that smirk of tendentious propaganda against our brothers and sisters in the North claiming they had poisoned some food stuff and another claiming they were planning to cause mayhem and to kill Nigerians from the South. Many of us saw through the lies and made posts to counter the claims of evil men who turned out to be Niger Delta militants.

We witnessed the theatre of absurdities when MEND claimed responsibility for the two blasts that killed innocent Nigerians including security agents at the scene. We saw a president who defended MEND frantically and absolved the killers of complicity. We also noticed how he and his henchmen in the security agencies quickly laid the blame at the doorsteps of his political opponents who were not present at the Eagle Square. We heard puerile lies and saw intrigues as they tried to rope in persons from the North of Nigeria culminating in the arrest of Chief Raymond Dokpesi who happened to be the Campaign Director for Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida all with a view to roping in innocent people and to ensure they could not contest in the Presidential Elections in 2011 while the president claimed he would not contest. But we began to smell trouble when a band of professional Abuja prostitutes lined the streets and began to mouth obscenities saying they would deprive their husbands and boyfriends of sex if President Jonathan did not declare. Then we also saw for the first time in the nation's history, the strangest patrons of this government, the National Association of Nigerian Witches who declared their support for their president. It was all in the dailies. It was not a surprise for some of us when the bloodshed started. We saw an unprecedented camaraderie among pastors and imams and witches for the first time ever. That is for another day.

Eventually, Mr. President and his team admitted it was MEND when the facts on the ground could have consumed him and this led to the arrest of Henry Okah and his supposed cohorts in Nigeria here one of whom has died. That is also for another day.

The questions that arise are, why would an innocent president become the defender and spokesman of terrorists and absolve them of complicity? Why was Chief Raymond Dokpesi branded a terrorist by Marilyn Ogah and her team at the SSS as well as the Presidency be embraced by the President and the PDP as Deputy Campaign Director of the Jonathan-Sambo Presidential Campaign Organization and all charges were dropped against him - a man who had been implicated through some supposed call log brandished by the SSS as having direct dealings with the masterminds of the October 1, 2010 bomb blasts? What happened to the call logs? Were they not substantial evidence to arraign him in court? The fact is that the call logs were false - concocted by the SSS as an avenue to clamp down on co-contestants from the North.

Nigerians never asked salient questions. We consequently witnessed a systematic onslaught and destruction of infrastructure and trade and commerce and industry in the North since then while Niger Delta militants became boisterous like school boys whose elder brothers had just bought new shoes they never had for. We saw attempts at compromising the territorial integrity of the nation and consequently the sovereignty of the nation in an attempt to contract security of our water ways to illiterate active Niger Delta militant when we have the Navy empowered by the constitution to protect our territorial waters.

We also saw a fraudulent document christened Power Road Map which was hurriedly put together as a package to win the elections. We pointed out the flaws but Nigerians clapped and shut their eyes to it all and now we are faced with the stark naked reality: trillions of Naira wasted and absolutely nothing was achieved. To present a front of doing something about it, they quickly rushed to Germany to sign contracts they intend to borrow money to finance and no one is held responsible for the monies frittered away on phony projects.

The grievances of Boko Haram were hijacked as an avenue to cause more mayhem and to attack Catholic Churches where the Igbos were in the majority. The logic is simple. The greatest threat to their achieving their goals of  secession was Northern Nigeria. It would be easier and cause them less casualty to cause a crisis between the Igbos and Hausa/Fulanis of the North if they believed that the North was the mastermind of the bomb blasts and the grievances of Boko Haram provided a ready alibi. Testimonies abound including those of Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah of Christians of Southern origin who had been caught attempting to plant bombs in churches. A christian of Southern origin was also caught who had been the supplier and link to suppliers for materials used for bomb making. Explosives used for mining activities had been used illegitimately in Jos by both camps to the protracted fray over there.

Supposed masterminds had been caught including Sen. Ali Ndume supposedly implicated by a lunatic who was hurriedly jailed by a magistrate court judge on frivolous charges other than terrorist crimes as Marilyn Ogah had told the nation in a nationwide broadcast. We also saw a Senior Advocate of Nigeria manning the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice who did not know that a case of such significance should not be tried in a magistrate court but in a high court. We also saw an Attorney General of the Federation, Mohammed Adoke, who did not know how to write and file proper terrorist charges against the accused but instead filed charges for crimes other than terrorism. Recall that Sen. Ali Ndume had been vocal against Mr. President's plan to remove subsidy on petroleum products.

During this period, huge profits were made by the president's men and so much extra budgetary spending and illicit loans were obtained secretly to procure cameras in breach of constitutional provisions.

Lawlessness became the order of the day and all we kept on hearing was 'We are on top of the situation' while hundreds of Nigerians are being killed in their hundreds until this day.

We went into December with high hopes things would take a different turn in 2012. Instead, the systematic killings continued. Bishops and miracle workers lost and lousy prophets lost their ability to see visions and to prophesy accurately about a matter as urgent and as close to God's heart as the killing of innocent Nigerians. That again is for another day.

Even without salaries and under harsh economic conditions, many Nigerians managed to celebrate Christmas and the New Year with their loved ones praying for better things in 2012 only to be heartlessly slapped in the face by the president and his cabinet of over fattened pigs - too fattened from looting the treasury to think and to consider the plight of an already battered populace - with removal of subsidy on PMS. Many people were stranded in their villages and could not afford transportation fares back to their stations where they were employed with miserly salaries. So much state funds were expended to host town hall meetings and seminars and conferences in which we saw full grown adults who go to church and mosques lie to us without the slightest feeling of compunction. We saw Havard degree wielding professionals lie from both sides of their mouths when it was obvious what they were doing amounted to fraud of monumental proportions. Nigerians filed out in their thousands to fight for their rights insisting that the government must revert back to N65 per litre against the N141 per litre they illegally imposed on us. Businesses began to crumble and banks are sacking their personnel in hundreds as a direct fall out of this mess. We saw an uncultured and ill bred Information Minister mouth gibberish from both sides of his mouth even worse than a military general. We saw how a genuine cause was given evil meanings by the president's men. Hard working Nigerians who had never taken any government contract but have concrete proofs of what they do for a living unlike them in government were given bad names and they pitched the security agents against the people, killing them for fighting for their just rights. Innocent Nigerians were to be branded terrorists.

In the end, Nigerians were proved right after all and they have since tried frantically to kill the reports that indicted government officials and their proxies in oil companies that stole over $3bn. To add insult to injury, the disgusting Adoke who also has oil interests has the temerity to tell us - Nigerians, the true Sovereign - no one will be tried for the theft of monumental proportions.

This must not stand!

Nigerians, there is a need to sink our differences and fight these monsters to a standstill.

If you choose to stand aloof in spite of evidence they consume more than half of the nation's budget in salaries and perks of office as well as their children school fees, their health bills, their cost of fueling fuel guzzling vehicles, the cost of lodging prostitutes in guest houses, the cost of lodging economic parasites and liabilities in presidential suites in choice hotels in large numbers and so much more, you will be the worst for it. This is not fair.

This demon of corruption must be crushed completely and ruthlessly and sent packing from our land.

Or shall  we sit down and watch as the country finally grinds to a halt? If you think secession is the way, wait until you succeed and discover in the end some are only looking for smaller spheres to wield enormous powers over you and to continue business as usual.

Arise O Nigerians! Reclaim your heritage! Let us cleanse this paradise for maggots and restore our land and to put it on the path of greatness now! If you let this mess continue, you will suffer more. God forbids but that is the true reality or have you all stashed off enough money in foreign accounts and investments even in places like Ghana like they have?

You must fight and recover what is rightfully yours and channel it appropriately for development.

Adoke ought to be in tune with the mood of the nation in a matter for which government forces killed innocent civilians who fought for their rights in January, 2012. Insulated with so much fat from official graft, his ears and those of other top government officials are deaf to the yearnings of the people. We are looking for money for projects they have not even thought through while the plunderers of the nation's resources strut the streets like gods. This is unacceptable.

It is even instructive that they have no apologies for the evils they did Nigerians, many who voted the man in power but were betrayed by their evil schemes.

But this is what we have been saying and the facts are there and every where and I don't know why Nigerians refused to see it. We forget too soon and it's only just 2010 yesterday and I see some people trying frantically to rewrite that history so fresh telling lies from both sides of their mouths.

Okah is right for God's sake!

The evidence is overwhelming even without Okah's testimony. It's been there staring us in the face while they played on the intelligence of many fabricating all forms of ungodly lies, pretending to be looking for what was not lost.

Oh my God! To say I am short of words is an under-estimation of how I really feel. Our nation is ruled by dumb murderers and pathological liars. I have read the entire affidavit deposed to by Mr. Henry Okah and the rest of the pieces of the bizarre puzzle just fall into place.

I had not even seen this months ago when I unmasked the Killer Boko Haram and uncovered all the porous lies the security agents had fed us with.

From the curiously unsigned autopsy reports by the supposed pathologists to fraudulent photos of the crime scenes to the quality of photos presented by a government that is serious about proving a case against a terrorist to poor documentation about equipment procured for the crime to handling of witnesses in Nigeria who were not given access to legal representation in an issue as severe as terrorism down to the substantiable calls from the president's men and aides as well as substantiable itinerary of these men as well as substantiable evidence of calls they made to the accused, it is clear more than ever that the murderers of our brethren are Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and his band of criminals. A man who uses the apparatus zof state to propagate hate and to cause disaffection and the death of hundreds of citizens is not fit to remain in office.

To make matters worse, since this news broke out, I see grossly incompetent persons who are talking utter gibberish when they actually lack capacity to :-)comprehend the minutest issue related to the case what with rock-solid evidence we have available as we are all living witnesses to what transpired.

It also clears my doubt about why Asari Dokubo released his expose that also implictated him and key government officials in the crime of terrorism inadvertently shortly after Orkah was arrested. Why did he not reveal all these things when Orkah was a free man?

I intend to do a throrough analysis of the document this weekend  and to cite evidences we all know and witnessed that corroborate these facts.

Nigerians, over to you.

Post Merge: May 03, 2012, 09:08:57 PM
Adoke. You sound like you own Nigeria. Wish you goodluck you guys live on. You are a Swine.

I guess you guys have plans to roll out the tanks to kill Nigerians. We know you have oil interests and there is no way the trials will not consume you so you want to kill it.

Let me remind you that Nigeria is bigger than you and you are not above the law.

Getting in the way of the people will definitely be your doing.

Foolish man!

God is faithful! He is always so faithful! Even when they lay ambush for your soul, crouching and waiting for the opportune time, Jehovah protects the innocent and gives His angels charge over him.

I fear no evil. The gathering of the wicked and murderers of our brethren shall be scattered and the dread of the Most High takes over their camp.

God sends a strange word into their camp and they rise and slaughter each other.

God reigns and He alone is Lord in all the earth and there is none besides Him.

Mortals are but budding plants in His eyes.

You, O Lord are ancient of days and I'm only a boy. Take my hands and walk with me. By Your strength, I can run against an army.

The wicked are like chaff before You. The blast of the breathe of Your nostrils causes them to expire. You break their arrows and You seize their bullets and mortars and cause just water to proceed from them. Their legs fail them and Your mighty angels of war slaughter them from one extremity of the land to another,

Take all the glory and honour and praise for You redeem our land and save it from the cluthes of lepers!

We delight in Your Majesty and in the glory of Your face! Arise, O Great King! Come take Your place in our land!

When You are through with us, all generations shall know You were here and that You alone are God in all the universe!

There is might in number and together we will overrun these overfed monsters nibbling at the soul of this nation, recover all they have stolen and rebuild our nation.

"If Nigerians could understand what N3trn could do for them, they would understand why we need to stamp out corruption." - Pastor Tunde Bakare

The Save Nigeria Group gives the FG two weeks - I repeat two weeks - to commence prosecution  of those indicted or Nigerians will be mobilized to commence a protest march. The group recommends the appointment of an independent prosecutor in view of the failures of anti-corruption agencies to handle corruption cases competently.

Nigerians Ahoooooooo!

Let me make a passionate appeal to the new kids on the block operating as Boko Haram to please sheathe their swords. We know how bitter you guys are what with all the mess perpetrated by agents of state who orchestrated a killing machinery that killed and maimed innocent people and blamed it on Boko Haram. There was also poorly orchestrated propaganda to cover up the mess. Some of your political leaders up North have capitalized on the unbridled insults that followed to set you guys up to do what you are doing now in anger. We have watched as your brothers were summarily executed when they knew nothing and all that it took to be branded Boko Haram was an overflowing caftan and a beard or acquiline nose or a sign you were a Muslim. We also saw how some swines from the South South insulted you guys and threatened fire and brimstone when you guys were the victim and were even bewildered by the happenings as many innocent persons were maimed. We saw how they detonated the first set of bombs in Abuja and quickly blamed it on you guys with Mr. President as the chief liar Even when he knew his boys did it.Please, for the sake of peace and innocent Nigerians do not be caught in the web of wickedness the fools in government perpetrated against you. God's judgement is against them. Please, for the sake of Allah, let the bloodshed cease and spare innocent Nigerians of all faiths who are themselves also victims of bad leadership just as you are. This is the time more than ever for all Nigerians to put their differences aside and deal decisively with these idiots who profit from ruining our heritage and to demand accountability from all of the big fools in government from the local government level down to the federal level. These are the true enemies of Nigeria and not your brothers from the North, South, East and West who work hard against all odds to eke out a living in tears and pains and vain hopes it would be better one day. Let me tell you that it will be better today and nothing is going to stop it.History beckons and we owe it a duty to ourselves and future generations to turn the tides against these heartless animals across the length and breath of this country. We cannot afford to fail God. We must recover all the loot and rebuild our nation rid of those pigs.

Everyday, we are regaled with more and more sordid details of failure of leadership. We pointed out even before the elections that the Power Road Map was a fraud put together to loot the treasury and to win the elections. Coincidentally, that was all the President had to give us in 13 months after he succeeded the late Yardie of blessed memory. We pointed out all the pitfalls including gas supply and many more on this wall and many will bear witness to that. Today, we are faced with what was inevitable: billions wssted to achieve nothing and much also wasted to travel to Germany to sign contracts and no one is held accountable. The reason is not far fetched. The monies went back to their pockets by proxy and phony contractors.Guess what? When they eventually have sufficient gas supply after waiting forever and much more money stolen in the name of providing a gas distribution network, they are going to tell us the incomplete plants (they claim they are complete) have become dysfunctional and new contracts will be awarded to acquire refurbished parts at the cost of new ones and to install them. For how long are we going to allow this vicious cycle of stupidity to continue?

The denigration of the black race in spite of the fact that Africa had been the cradle of civilization started when the black man failed to see that power is relative and transient and to harness his technological prowess and to improve it for the common good but instead chose savagery and witchcraft and black magic over the need to expand his influence and to see far ahead of little accomplishments for which he got wives, subdued raw and rare native intelligence and effectively eclipsed his prospects for true growth.

Those exactly are the points I tried to capture in a few words. I concur with you unreservedly. In the final analysis, the blackman has been his greatest enemy and the greatest clog in the wheel of progress on all fronts. Until the led see that they truly are the Soverign from whom their leaders derive their powers in a social contract for which they willingly surrender their authority to a central institution for peace and sanity to reign and come to an understanding that new slave masters have no new tricks but simply innovate new ways of deploying same old tricks by which their ancestors were held in bondage for ages and that freedom is only gotten through resistance and a good fight, this will continue. One last thing though is that while the new slave masters who are of us and live among us play ethnic cards and religious sentiments and many a black man have willingly fought needless internecine warfares  whose origins and true motives they have hardly ever given a thought to, they fail also to realize that in more than 99.9% of such occurrences, they only reinforced and perpetuated the reign of wicked men with parochial interests, embracing savagery and bestiality, killing and maiming each other wantonly for ill-bred animals whose evil causes they helped advance unknowingly to their own detriment, effectively tightening the noose of subjugation around their own necks.

In the final analysis, we have been right all along. The Killer Boko Haram are agents of the Presidency.

If you are still wondering what I'm talking about, let me do a quick recap. Should you feel compelled to investigate further, then read up the series, "The Killer Boko Haram: Not A Mystery" on my wall captured in notes.

The October 1, 2010 bomb blasts and the ones on December 31 of that same year were initiated, sponsored and executed by the Presidency and its agents to capitalize on the palpable tension at the time to whip up sentiments in its favour and against the North some of whose political leaders made careless statements about making the country ungovernable over the fall out of the PDP-inspired zoning mess. For your information, in case you did not know, the Niger- Delta militants were set to blow up strategic places in Abuja had Goodlck Ebele Jonathan lost out in the PDP Presidential Primaries.

It was the infighting among the initiators of the dastardly acts including agents of the Presidency, key aides of Mr. President including Tony Uranta and the bad blood between two key leaders of MEND: Asari Dokubo and Henry Orkar who had been at each other's throats and sought to out do each other over control of the MEND machinery and the bounties from government patronage in the name of some cause they personally profited immensely from to the detriment of the teaming poor masses of the Niger Delta, the cracks which exposed the extent of complicity of Mr. President and his team. We saw Mr. President become the Defender-In-Chief and Chief Spokesman of MEND absolving  his kith and kin in MEND of complicity.

The Police Headquarters blast further revealed the dubiety of the immediate past IG in the whole mess. The SSS became engine room of pathological lies all with a view to implicating innocent men and to cover up the entire mess.

Like I said though, God will put a sword in their midst thrusting it through their hearts and we will be regaled with more revelations.

Well, while you pray, keep your eyes wide open like Gideon and his men. Besides, are you guys saying we have not been praying? Please brethren, wake up from your slumbers. The killers of our brethren are people you know but refuse to believe are responsible. All the pointers are so clear about this.

The ball is in your court to rise to the occassion and to do the needful to protect your communities and family and to drop ethnic sentiments so you can see the critical issues clearly.

Where are all the prophets who have been seeing visions? Have they suddenly become blind and hard of hearing? Does God not speak anymore?

Think Nigerians, think my people! Has enough blood not been spilled already?

I am wondering what you guys are celebrating about the Gen. Azazi's speech! The guy simply said nothing and skirted around the critical issues.

I should have thought that what he should be telling us should border around who and who are involved in this mess whom they had said they knew and what they are doing about it and not to surreptitiously prepare our minds for more bomb blasts and effectively diverting attention from the main culprits.

Nigerians! Why have you suddenly become hard of hearing and celebrate deception?

The man was simply boxed into a tight corner with the invite and had to say something. Though he admitted the mutation of the group overnight into a bomb spraying machine had to do with PDP, he stopped short of mentioning his own role and that of his boss and kith and kin in the whole mess.

Kauna Allah! When all the chips are down and there's no one else around, lean on God's love. You can't make mistakes. It's perfect love that heals your soul and renews your spirit and you are good to go.

One more thing, you must locate yourself in His love and your partner too for you to have a blissful relationship that will make you the cynosure of all eyes. You will have everlasting peace,

Stop building your relationships on the foundation of lies and deception.

Long before our light skinned beak-nose Caucasian brothers from Adam happened on the African soil, our ancestors themselves had for ages held on to a false belief that the King and elders derive their powers from God and were oracles of the divine. Hence, they accepted oppression and deprivation perpetrated by their leaders as acts with the approval of the divine and they established priesthoods they connived with to cheat the people with spurious orders from the gods.

Little wonder it was so congenial for the visitors to have their way carting away our resources and beating our ancestors and larcerating their backs with horsewhips while they recited the Paternoster in the plantations nurtured by our sweat but built their lands for them.

Unfortunately, despite the lessons learned and the eventual independence of African nations from their colonial masters, Africa came out worse off as those who took over could not shake themselves off those traditions of very dead ancestors and lunatics for priests but instead mixed it so badly with the new tricks of subjugation and oppression introduced by the visitors and end up aping it all so badly.

If Nigerians and Africans in general are still unsure of what to do about the present revelations and instead would rather they were whipped and cheated so badly and treated with ignominy by those who rape the treasury and destroy their heritage rather than fight them to a standstill, the reason is not far-fetched: they suffer from the disease that plagued their ancestors in spite of all the exposure and education they acquire all over the globe.

No oppressor grants freedom freely! That is the lesson we have refused to learn.

Many Nigerians died over the fuel subsidy brouhaha. We must not let them die in vain. In the end, Nigerians were right and Dieziani, the uncouth Minister of Information (or is he Minister of lies? I think this is more plausible), Labaran (Bad News) Maku, rotund cheek Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and the serpentine Sanusi Lamido Sanusi lied to Nigerians. The worst part is that they were in the know of all this mess as their ministries supervise the relevant agencies and operations in question. They authorize and disburse the payments and give the nod for every action.

They pitched the army and the security agencies against Nigerians and got the Sovereign murdered in cold blood for standing up for their rights. They do not even deem it fit to apologize to Nigerians. They branded high flying achievers who stole nothing but worked hard for their money terrorists because they stood against the lies.

If the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria messes up this chance to bring these culprits to book, then he will remain a monumental disgrace and the blood of the innocent will take away his sleep and those of his children.

It was an insult for the minister who was at the center of the whole mess to set up committees to probe what?

Apart from this, Nigerians must not fail this time to show commitment by protecting at all costs the legislators who have put fatherland and the stakes of future generations first. People who risk their lives and their offices do so at great cost and must be protected and not ridiculed and left in the hands of the vultures. When we do this, we are not far from achieving the Nigeria of our dreams. they will be encouraged to do more. The Farouk Lawan Committee and the NASS deserve a pat on the back and greater measure of applause. We must not fail them now.

I Won't Spare Anybody - Jonathan (Daily Sun)

That will make you my president if you are repentant and do this. However, you have begun again to mess up your chances of writing your name on the sands of time shielding Dieziani from prosecution. None of these things can happen without her approval. Besides, she holds the forte there. Or are you saying you are also involved and that bringing Dieziani to book will implicate you and your kitchen cabinet members and some of your godfathers? If only you would make God your father and not Egbesu. Anyway, that's for another day. I know you know what I'm talking about.

Mr. President, Egbesu has disgraced you so much and made you an embarrassment to yourself. There is so much blood of innocent citizens on your hands. Egbesu keeps on demanding of you more blood and your lieutenants are ready to spill more.

Should you fail, then you should be set to wear the toga of disgrace permanently. You have to develop the balls and courage to deal ruthlessly with the culprits or face the music and the inevitable truth you are a failure and a disgrace to all generations of Nigerians dead, alive and yet to be born.

Can anyone tell me who among us all as Nigerians, made crude oil and deposited it in the Niger-Delta? Can any Nigerian tell me, how tin, bauxite, limestone, tantalite and all the mineral resources in the various parts of Nigeria come about? Who planted them in those locations?

I think we need to recover quickly from our drunken stupor fueled by the coincidence of discovery of those resources where we migrated over time.

They are all commonwealth!

What we should emphasize is for the resources in all the states to be harnessed creatively to spin more industries and job opportunities and to increase by leaps and bounds what goes into the common kitty.

Unfortunately, those at the helm of affairs who share the booty among themselves every month have failed to invest in this direction but on licentious living, girlfriends, growing bald head and pot bellies and frivolous expenses - investments that contribute absolutely nothing to meaningful development of society.

If any part of Nigeria claims to own any natural resource, they should please furnish us with details of the actual manufacturing dates and witnesses. They should also show us their factories and production lines where they produced those resources.

Can we please move away from the stone age?

For those of you who have made killing and maiming of innocent Nigerians your mainstay, watch out, God will kill you if you don't give it up - yes, you and all your sponsors! Nigerians, be ever more vigilant. There is no salvation in the security agents!I am very angry!

In fact, I am extremely angry today!

Boko Haram, come and take on your size - bloody cowards and idiots killing and maiming innocent Nigerians! May your flesh be fed to the dogs and may your peace be taken away from you. May your entire households be ravaged by pestilence including those of your sponsors.

You, who have mad killing your source of livelihood, may everyone who finds you put a bullet in your cursed skull!

Just a little curious. Have you noticed that these killers who say they are angry with government decisions do not go bombing government houses and public functions where those who sponsor them come to in large numbers?

Nigerians, please start thinking!

Both Prof. Chukwuma Soludo and Sanusi Lamido Sanusi are bad for Nigeria. Though well read, they copied what happened elsewhere wholesale without taking into consideration the peculiarities of the Nigerian terrain. They simply aped policies that worked elsewhere without ensuring that the prerequisite appanages were in place. For example, under Soludo, Nigeria witnessed a gale of recapitalization across banks who only ended up flooding the country with non-viable branches and lifestyle schemes that made many Nigerians, who could not resist the tempting offers, chronic walking debtors instead of coming up with plans to channel resources towards revamping the real sector and encouraging the emergence of venture capitalists who would spur growth in innovations, industries, Science & Technology - the very critical factors on which modern vibrant and competitive economies are hinged. It is in the same light that I view Sanusi's ill-fated attempt at introducing a cashless economy in the face of clear indications that Nigeria is not yet ready for it. First, an audit was not conducted to ascertain the viability of ATMS installed in most of the bank branches. In fact, even in Abuja, most of the machines are dead or dysfunctional. Second, most of the banks misappropriated the gains from recapitalization in fraudulent contracts for telecoms infrastructure for the banks. While many claimed to have deployed broadband services through V-SAT, in actual fact they either purchased low bandwidth capacity or they deployed inefficient radios in the branches stalling sturdy and persistent connections which ATM transactions demand for successful throughput performance. I can go on and on.

Now we have excessive queues at the banks right under the hot sun of people waiting to get money through the damned machines. In some places, even on weekends you can get a dime from an ATM machine. This is appalling. this is more of banking with tears. Keffi in Nasarawa State is an example.

President Jonathan: Fellow Nigerians. These are trying moments. I understand your pains. However, bomb blasts have come to stay. I want you to know that we are 'on top of the situation'. To show you how serious this administration really is about putting an end to this mess, I have let Hafiz Ringim go to a blissful retirement in spite of evidence that he was incompetent and seemed so much to be colluding with the culprits. De guy don try. Make im go rest. In choosing his successor, I have had to look for someone with a record of official misdemeanor and gross incompetence and negligence in the 2001 Jos Mayhem. De guy sabi partia! In short, he is the best man for the job. While we brace up for more bomb blasts and increased sectarian and ethnic clashes across the nation, we urge you all to keep faith with us and keep on praying for us to serve you well. Who knows? The next blast may happen right inside your bedroom. The technology is getting better and better.

The truth is, we intend to dialogue with and grant amnesty to Boko Haram. But, we cannot dialogue with ourselves and grant ourselves amnesty. We are asking to do the impossible.

Fellow Nigerians, please bear with us as we transform our economy and provide a conducive climate for investment in bomb factories, arms and ammunition, kidnapping technology, bank robberies and general lawlessness.

In view of the foregoing, I have hired Israeli MOSSAD agents to protect me and top government officials and my family. As for you, please keep on praying earnestly not to get killed and that the police and SSS will wake up to their responsibility to protect you.

Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!

One of the best things that could happen to this country and bring down crime wave rapidly in Nigeria is to legalize the use of fire arms. A situation where criminals are armed by government officials to kill innocent people is unacceptable. Let fire arms be legalized and let us see if Boko Haram and other criminals would be this daring anymore.

I assure you it won't turn wild, wild West as somethink. There will be mutual respect and politicians would sit up. Besides, in the case of wild, wild West, the weapons were available only to a few who bullied others initially. As soon as it became available to all, people became careful.

Until some people see that they also have blood flowing in their veins, they won't stop bullying others and shedding innocent blood. It is unacceptable that criminals have unfettered access to firearms and bully law abiding citizens who have to beg ill-bred monkeys for mercy while the security agents entrusted with our security tell us stories, compromise our security and even participate in killing innocent Nigerians.

The Gospel truth is that, inasmuch as the security agents continue to fail and instead tell us more and more Cock and Bull stories and fables, inasmuch as more Nigerians are being killed, no one would wait to be killed and the natural consequence is that Nigerians will begin to arm themselves and fight back. That will be the day. Even the voice of reason will be drownded in a cacophony of voices seeking revenge under various guises.

That would be a natural consequence of government's stupidity in giving vagabonds, criminals and animals a free reign.

Post Merge: March 11, 2012, 07:00:40 PM
I am not suggesting anarchy here. Far from it. I am suggesting order. What do you call the present state of Nigeria where our laws do not work and innocent men die everyday like chickens and the security agents have no answers? Do we fold our arms and die? Is that a better option? Or do we keep on lamenting and making senseless speeches when all we need is self-defense?

What we have at present is anarchy at its best. We do not have law and order and it is unacceptable that criminals should possess guns while law abiding Nigerians are helpless against them. No way!

Starting from tomorrow, March 7, 2012, I will be focusing on one state out of the 36 states of the Federation and the FCT each day. The highlights would focus on what each governor is doing and what each governor ought to be doing. We shall look at the resources within the reach of the government and how those resources have been tapped and utilized by those governors for the good of the people of the state.

If you are from any of the states in focus, just be sure to come armed with facts instead of baseless arguments in defense of a poorly performing governor. Your added insight will be welcome.

Post Merge: March 09, 2012, 10:05:34 AM
IN FOCUS: ABIA STATE

Priding itself as God's own state, Abia State was created on August 27, 1991. Located in the South East of Nigeria, the name 'ABIA' was formed from the abbreviation of the most densely populated parts of the state namely, Aba, Bende, Isuikwuato, and Afikpo.

Blessed with a 2.4m strong population of hard working Igbo-speaking people, 'Abians' are known to be industrious and commercially inclined.

The State is sandwiched in between Imo State (from which it was excised) and Cross River, Rivers, Ebonyi and Akwa Ibom States.

Abia State has 17 local government areas including:

Aba North
Aba South
Arochukwu
Bende
Ikwuano
Isiala Ngwa North
Isiala Ngwa South
Isuikwuato
Obi Ngwa
Ohafia
Osisioma Ngwa
Ugwunagbo
Ukwa East
Ukwa West
Umuahia North
Umuahia South
Umu Nneochi

The state is blessed with many exotic endowments of nature including Crude Oil, Natural Gas, Tar Sands/Oil Shales, Lead, Zinc, Copper, Phosphate, Gypsum, Limestone, Iron Ore, Kaolin, Industrial Sands, Igneous Rocks and Laterite, and I believe some more that have yet to be discovered. I must not forget to mention large portions of arable land with sufficient amount of rainfall annually, giving room for citizens to engage in agriculture. Yams, maize, potatoes, rice, cashews, plantains, and cassava are the major agricultural produces, albeit, at subsistence level.

At the start of the present democratic dispensation in 1999, Orji Uzor Kalu was sworn in as the Executive Governor of Abia State, having won the gubernatorial election at the time on the platform of the PDP. He was succeeded by Governor Theodore Orji who has been on the seat and doing his second term right now?

In terms of internally generated revenues (IGR), Abia State has performed too poorly, depending more on it's share of 13% Derivation from oil revenues and allocations from the Federation Account.

Except recently when Governor Theodore Orji imported state-of-the-art medical equipment, the state health infrastructure is extremely poor. Abians due to agricultural activities have rising cases of Hernia in both male and female population. This was a discovery we made during one of my team's free health care programmes. Many of the people cannot afford healthcare services and the hospitals are dilapidated, unkempt and ramshackle. Doctors are hardly available and we had to move in equipment so as to perform free surgeries.

Road infrastructure in Abia State is extremely poor. Educational infrastructure is also extremely poor. Add to this poor security infrastructure and dubiety of policemen in the state who embark on extorting money from the public under various guises from the public. Kidnapping is a major enterprise and general lawlessness is on the rise.

In spite of all the resources at the disposal of those who have run the state in the past 21 years, even the state capital, Umuahia still appears largely rural.

What are Abians doing about their fortunes? Do they really have a government? What do their governors do with their revenues? Why have the leaders of the state failed to diversify their economy? Are Abians this bereft of creative ideas to move their state forward or is that they do not care enough about their fortunes?

Aba Alangwa in an article titled, "As We Sit Back and Watch Abia State Go To Ruins', published in Vanguard Newspapers Online on June 24, 2010 at exactly 10:51am, captured perfectly the present state of Abia State: "City roads in Aba, where the government claims to be spending 60 per cent of Abia State revenue, are built with wheelbarrows as the most sophisticated construction equipment. The others are brooms, trowels, hoes and head pans. Laterite is poured on major roads and spread with brooms and head pans and shovels and trowels and foot. The laterite is later sprayed with black substances using insecticide-like sprayers which the public are expected to call coal tar and the road is done. When okada was in use in Aba, it takes only one okada ride to peel off the layers and reopen the potholes. Major urban roads in dare need of being a dual carriageway are demarcated in the middle with concrete works while there are potholes on both sides deep enough to swallow a saloon car when it rains. Abians are now officially known as highest ranking kidnappers in Nigeria. Abia State is the most dangerous state to live or do business in right now. All those who have money have fled the cities in Abia State to other neighbouring states or abroad for safety. Interestingly, Abians now move to Port Harcourt where the militancy and kidnapping incidents began in this country a few years ago. People are kidnapped for as little as N10, 000 these days in Abia State. Bullion van robbery was a daily affair in Abia State until the banks started ferrying their money by helicopters."

Over to you, Abians. Before you crucify me, bring on the facts.

Post Merge: March 09, 2012, 10:17:02 AM
He further opines, "There is nothing like public utility that is functioning in Abia State. I was surprised to see public water supply in a place like Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Rivers States and in Enugu where you cannot even dig a borehole because of coal in the ground."

What irks one most is that even if Governor Theodore Orji was such a dull person, he is privileged to be surrounded by two performing governors including Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State and Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State. Can't he 'copy' from them?

Post Merge: March 09, 2012, 10:21:58 AM
On the state of education, Aba Alangwa adds: "In Abia State, teachers are owed 8 months’ salary and this has been continuously so in the last four years. In fact, in the last ten years, there has not been anytime teachers were not owed salaries and allowances. There is no public schooling in Abia State. What you have is that the few who have nowhere else to go have class examinations conducted for them as soon as one month salary can be arranged for the teachers after three to four months of non-payment of any salary at all. The government, instead of promoting the education of its people, is currently levying every child in the private daycare, nursery, primary and secondary schools. I expect that those in private tertiary schools are also paying. School fees in Abia State Government owned tertiary schools are increased every year 100 per cent."

I hear some people say there is no God. But, I, Segun Edward II insist, there is God, maker of the heavens and the earth and all that is within them. I can testify that He lives and that those who call upon His name are more than conquerors in a perverse generation. I believe He protects His own and that He is the ultimate power to be feared and dreaded.

I have walked with Him. I have believed in Him all my life. I have seen Him go to work for me. I have experienced His saving grace. I have been in His awesome presence. I have seen His healing power to this day. I have seen Him chart my course. I have seen Him bless me. I have seen Him protect me. I have even seen Him go to war in my behalf.

Listen, God is real. Only a fool would say there is no God. Even the proponents of Evolution Theory have all capitulated to the Creation Theory.

If there is anything that I yearn for most, it is to reflect His glory and to bear witness in all the universe that there is no God besides Him!

Marooned on an island, Tobi sought for a way out but found none. Loneliness set in and the desire for a companion overwhelmed him. He had decided to make the island his home as there seemed to be no way to get out.

As he trudged on one windy night, his eyes caught a silhouette, shapely in form careening towards him and swirling sensuously.

Tobi's heart was filled with some relief, knowing that he was going to have some company at last. Longing so much to reach out to her, he held out his hands hoping he would be able to catch her and wrap her in his warm embrace. As he held them out, he closed his eyes and for one moment, he seemed to have encircled the object of his passion.

When he opened his eyes, he realized it was just a mirage.

Nice short story, you say?

I'm actually getting at something telling you this story I made up.

Matters of the heart are so dear to many out there and if there is one thing they seem to fail at so much, it is the issue of conquering their passions and hitting it off with the right person.

Somehow, patience soon turns into unbridled desperation and any and everything out there soon seems like the right person. At such times, many resign to fate and let down their guards and fall for every idiot out there. In many cases, the desperation is almost so tangible like an object that can be seen and heard even from afar. Exploiters, gold diggers, beautiful liars, handsome monsters and many more all line up to ravage what's left.

Have you lost out in relationships? Has it begun to seem like you are marooned on an island and you have got to love something anyway? Have you begun to feel like you have to get down with just any and everything that comes your way just because you need to be loved so badly? Have you resigned to fate thinking it is not possible to have someone who loves you for real? For some, all men are sex animals who must have them all.

Well, you are wrong. Love knows no bounds or age. Keep working at being the man or woman you ought to be and do not jump at any and everything you see out there. You only bring more hurt to yourself and end up disillusioned and frustrated. Stop embracing silhouettes and falling in and out of love with mirages. They have never been there. You only allowed your emotions run wild and so you bring so much pains to yourself.

Stop making yourself a victim of misplaced passion.

No matter what you do, do not even think of sleeping with another person's wife or husband. IT will surely bring you death!

What you are about to read may bring tears to your eyes. It is a true life story from an encounter I had with a very young pretty girl at one of my sites in Nasarawa State. I am posting this to highlight some evils perpetrated in our land in the name of some tradition against little girls and I really do believe we must all rise up to put an end to this mess. I also want to encourage victims to step forward to seek help and not to suffer in silence. You may also have been a victim at one time or the other as a child, I want to let you know that you have a chance to impact generations with your testimony and to save many more little girls including your daughters and nieces and little sisters from this evil scourge. What is this scourge? I am talking about incest, particularly, fathers sleeping with their daughters.

The story.

I had hardly seen her laugh. Each time I went to the supermarket belonging to her father to purchase some groceries, I noticed most times she was lost and aloof. She didn't even notice I was giving her money for the merchandise on two occasions. That made me a lot curious and I was wondering what could be so wrong with a pretty young lass to make her life so boring and weary. I could see through her.

I said to her, "Excuse me. Is all well with you? You seem lost each time I'm here and even though I wouldn't want to pry into your privacy, do you think you would like to share your heart's burdens with someone?"

She stared at me and smiled  dryly as she asked me for my cell phone number. She said to me, 'I am going to give you a call on Saturday, if you don't mind. Then we can talk.' I told her, 'No worries. Call me anytime.'

It was 9 am, Saturday morning and I had been at my client's site. My cell phone rang and it was her - I mean Jessica. I took the call and asked her to meet me at Mr. Biggs. She came pronto and did not keep me waiting. I noticed she was looking very different and much prettier. But there was still that feeling of confusion, emptiness and worthlessness radiating from her eyes.

She took her seat and she ordered what she wanted. I had my usual - a bottle of chilled water.

After getting to meet her, we went down to the main issue. As she talked with tear-blurred eyes, I was lost in her world. I simply put myself in her shoes and I could even see things she did not tell me about her harrowing experience. But, I stared blankly while she talked and listened carefully to every detail, just nodding and making eye contact. At some points, I took her hand in mine across the table and patted it without saying a word just to encourage her to go on.

Born to a man I would only like to refer to as Ichie (that was what he was called at home) who owned chains of supermarkets, she had first been raped by her father when she was barely 8 years old. Her father had traveled with her in advance to the village for the New Yam festival while her mother and siblings stayed back in Lafia, to join them later in the village in Anambra State. Every night alone together in the village, her father would forcefully have carnal knowledge of her and at a point she grew up thinking it was normal. When she was 15, she had terminated two pregnancies she had had for her father. The doctor who carried out the procedure those two times was her uncle also and it was a well guarded secret.

After a while, she was sent over to live with her aunt, her father's elder sister, and her randy old husband made several attempts also to go to bed with her as he had been doing with all the little girls who lived in his expansive house in Ebonyi State. She was not allowed to go to school even though she was the most intelligent of all the children. The father even went out of his way to secure admission into the university for her elder brothers and sisters who hardly stayed in school but were often found frolicking from one hotel to another across the federation with pot-bellied 'money-miss-road' men and politicians.

In her aunt's house, the most senior apprentice to the man of the house had promised her money to pay for her WAEC Exams as she was determined provided she slept with him. She had agreed and she got the money. But she failed in the exams.

She eventually made it in a second attempt.

She finally moved places and returned to her father's house in Lafia. She fell in love with a very handsome over-aged animal who claimed he was a lawyer. He didn't have a house of his own but was squatting at his friend's. He had taken advantage of a vulnerable girl who needed genuine love and care. On one occasion, her father opened bank accounts for all his children and deposited =N=500,000 in each child's account including Jessica's. Her boyfriend who was above 40 had often persuaded her to steal costly items from the supermarket and bring to him if she loved him. He even persuaded her to hand over her ATM card and he could go withdraw at will, having promised a 21 year old girl marriage. She would go cook for him and clean the house up.

When she took in for him, he said he was not ready to settle down yet. At 43? She became alarmed as was so scared what her father might do to her. So they settled for an abortion. Her boyfriend arranged with some student doctor doing his Internship at the Specialist Hospital in Lafia to carry out the procedure. On the said day, she was taken to some remote location at the borders of Lafia, right in the bush - an abandoned area and in an abandoned house gone decrepit.

Her boyfriend had taken her cell phone from her and switched it off and drove off leaving her alone with the randy doctor.

The doctor had claimed she was too tight and that she had to be lubricated before he could get rid of the nearly four months old pregnancy. He also had carnal knowledge of her in the the name of lubricating her and then he performed the procedure.

She ended up with severe pains she had to conceal from her parents and even as at the time we were talking, she still had the pains from time to time.

While she sought admission into Nasarawa State University, her elder sister had lured her to sleep with some crazy man who had claimed he was a top official of the university and would facilitate her admission. It turned out to be a hoax after he had had her. He was never a staff of the institution.

On two different occasions, she had taken a long walk to no where in particular, thinking about her life and why God hated her so much and would not come to her rescue. She wanted to die. She actually threw herself before speeding vehicles twice and when she was sure she would be stone dead, she found out each time she was still alive and that somehow, the vehicles missed her inexplicably on both occasions.

That was the period I met her.

I was deeply touched by her story and as she cried profusely. I didn't try to stop her. I offered her my handkerchief. When she was done, I had so many critical questions but I had to ask them with wisdom.

In the end, I encouraged her to tell her mother about her experience after we had prayed. But, I realized she needed much more than prayers. She needed real action and help.

When she told her mother, she slapped her claiming she wanted to destroy her home. Her father capitalized on the mother's stupidity and beat her up mercilessly and threw her out of the house at 1:32 am. She called me up and I had to go fetch her. But, I couldn't afford to allow her stay with me as I lived alone. I called up my client's Secretary who also lived alone and I pleaded with her to accommodate her and I would share the details with her the in the afternoon. I told her she shouldn't worry as I would provide her up keep.

In just a few days of living with my client's Secretary, I was shocked at the transformation in Jessica. She became fairer and much prettier and there was this glow in her eyes I hadn't seen before. She could sleep soundly.

I asked her if she had any relative elsewhere she could live with. She told me about her aunt in Imo State. We called her up and she told her everything. I told her aunt she needed peace of mind and an environment in which she could go to school peacefully. Her aunt had agreed.

To cut a long story short, today, Jessica is a second-year student in one of the nation's Federal universities studying Law.

The Abuja attempt at BRT services is so queer. So much effort is wasted on irrelevancies. Why can't they take a cue from the Lagos State Government? There is so much that goes with vision and careful planning. Before Fashola introduced BRT in Lagos, he had worked out enabling laws, set up LASTMA and did rehabilitation and extension work on roads on critical mapped out routes.

Senator Bala please, humble yourself and learn. There is a lot o gains derivable from networking with peers. You could even have the Lagos guys at your service to do this right. What is going on right now is so laughable.

Firstly, the buses in Lagos have ACs while those in Abuja do not have ACs. They even break down all the time. Secondly, Fashola exploited the gains of Public-Private Partnership BRT buses routes are not only marked with yellow paint, there were clearly defined aesthetic bus tops with proper shade for waiting passengers. Thirdly, LASTMA officials are always on hand to enforce rules. Fourthly, Lagos State developed an efficient fleet management system with a route and bus scheduling system such that you do not have to wait for long at the bus stops before a bus arrives. The ticketing system is very efficient.

I believe the service in Abuja can also be as efficient as Lagos State's. It's just that this whole package was not well thought through.

Punctuality is one of the most essential characteristics of a man on the path of success - a man with a mission and a vision.

Even the Scriptures stress the importance of this in the parable of the 10 virgins. The ones who came late complained like most Nigerians do today when they are late for appointments. Many would readily give excuses for being late to work, to a function, to a critical meeting or even to places of worship.

People who fail to be punctual cannot are unreliable and cannot be trusted. In fact, handing over critical assignment to them amounts to deciding to fail woefully and not beat critical deadlines.

The 10 virgins lost out in the wedding to The King as they were no where to be found. Guess what? They lost out of a life changing event just because they were negligent in as simple a thing as filling up their oil jars early enough and they chose to do so at the dying hour.

I see this play out in individual lives and on the national level in Nigeria.

People fail to do what they ought to do in the nick of time and choose to be slothful and are always full of excuses for failing to do what they ought to do.

We have even started infecting little children with the disease. A little while ago, you dared not go to school late. in fact, if by 7:45am you are not yet inside the school's premises you would have your butts whacked real good. Today, I see kids strolling lackadaisically to school even at 8.30am. Their teachers are not there to enforce the rules. Some parents take their kids very late to school.

Failure to be punctual is responsible for missed opportunities for many, inability to meet up with critical schedules and timelines for projects even for mission-critical assignments as well as time-bound assignments), and so on and so forth.

If I fixed an appointment with you and you failed to show up 1 minute after the scheduled time, you have lost the opportunity automatically. If you gave me an appointment and I did accept to honour it, I would turn up, at least, an hour before the time.

Some persons may need to look into this aspect of their lives. It just may be the reason you did not get picked after that job interview in spite of the fact that you answered all the questions you were asked competently. It just may be the reason you missed out on that contract. It may also be the reason that patient who needed urgent attention died.

Let's make a choice to be responsible again! Our nation is currently crippled by this vice and traveling along with it are slothfulness and incompetence. Those are not hallmarks of those who love God.

As Sheila walked leisurely down a lonely path, she ruminates upon what good fortune had come her way when she got a surprise promotion as Group Head, Corporate Affairs of XYZ Nig. Holdings.

As she made to negotiate the corner, her eyes caught a gory sight and she was so alarmed and shocked that she virtually froze and lost her voice.

Just a little ahead of her, her little favourite brother was being hacked in pieces by some vicious-looking men with swords. In fact, they dismembered every limb and every joint and cut him in little pieces.

Sheila knelt down and cried her heart out and she could hardly do anything to save the little boy. The little boy also could hardly put up any resistance to the muscular monsters who tore at him.

What picture does this story I just made up conjure in your mind? I can imagine seeing the look of disdain, fear and shock on your face right now. Did you also cringe and freeze?

Yet, what I just described is what many senseless women do all the time, murdering helpless creations of God -really precious gifts from God, making babies irresponsibly and killing them through abortion. Just as the little boy in the story, the foetus (a living creature) can't put up any resistance as the heartless mother and doctor connive to grind it into a pulp and suck it out violently, while it gasps for breath.

Have you been killing babies? You need to ask God for forgiveness for you are blood guilty.

God places high premium on human life. You are worse than Boko Haram and you are such a vicious and heartless murderer.

But, there is hope for you. You can change for good and choose to be responsible and to seek the face of God for forgiveness. If you continue, you will surely pay one day.
