How well reformed is the reformer? How well transformed is the transformer? Next time someone comes to you to tell you he brings reform and transformation to you you must see clear evidence of these in his personal life and in the way and manner he handled institutions under his care in the past. In this regard, you cannot reform the police force appointing an unreformed man to Chair a Reform Committee appointed by a hardly transformed man who wants to transform Nigeria but has made it worse off. We are expecting an impossible miracle! Can a bread pan with stains and dirt produce clean bread? Post Merge: January 28, 2012, 01:28:48 PM
The beautiful vessels with which Kings are served are the ones subjected to the harshest processes and what comes out is not ashes but a product even nations go to war to have. As you let God transform, renew, reshape, re-model, refurbish and re-vitalize you, do not despair. Sometimes, you may have to go through the hottest part of the fire to attain the status of an indisputable vessel of honour. Through the fire, rain, death or near-deaths, The King of kings is there all through to make you the very best of your kind who ever walked the earth. Don't skip your classes and tutorials on pain and joy, laughter and tears, want and abundance and sickness and sound health. In all of these, we are more than conquerors thru Christ who strengthens us. In the end when you graduate, you are unstoppable and indisputably a force to reckon with.

Sadly, what this forebodes is ominous. I see a mock arrest of some boys on the streets as culprits in the bombings and mock trials to send them to jail and Nigerians will applaud a super cop for a job well done and go to sleep and then it's all back to Square one. I expect the spate of bomb blasts to fizzle out a little and for a while to enable the new man warm his way into the hearts of unwary Nigerians. Then all of a sudden, there will be a massive crack down on members of the opposition who would be branded terrorists. The picture in the frame was only changed but the frame remains the same - the very frame that is the engine room for the killings in the first place. In as much as those who constitute the decaying frame place the new photo, do not expect anything remarkably different. Notice also that the man in the previous photograph on that same frame was left off the hook without punishment. This is diversionary. Post Merge: January 27, 2012, 08:30:21 AM
What do you really make of this? The president and his team talk about transformation and tell us lies about facts and figures. They talk about transformation and there is ample evidence more and more players in the real sector are either dying out or relocating? They talk about transformatiin and they keep on appointing and reinstating persons with doubtful characters to sensitive positions requiring integrity of the highest order. Gen. Azazi, Biu and now MD Abubakar all have damning intel on their past records and shoukd never have been appointed. They talk about transformation and they wipe out all the savings for the rainy day. They talk about transformation, crimes become worse and take on deadly dimensions like never before and criminals hold sway and are the friends of government and even our territorial integrity would be compromised by ignoring the Navy and handing over the security of our waterways to individuals with past criminal records against the state (amnesty or not). They talk about transformation and criminals call.the shots and dictate the tune and others must dance. They talk about transformation and criminals held in custody for highly dangerous crimes against the state escape and no one is punished. They promised transformation and beyond mere verbose dry speeches, they fail to pursue policies that will provide jobs and put the economy on a solid footing. Am I really the only one seeing all of these and that this transformation is so bad for us? Hell No! This is no transformation! This is orchestrated systematic destruction of Nigeria by the president and his cronies who have been so insensitive to the murder, welfare and needs of Nigerians.

A little slothfulness and stupidity could take you so many miles away from purpose and derail your vision. You may spend the rest of your life struggling to get back on course. Define vision. Define purpose. Stick to the blueprint that ensues and apply wisdom to stay on course. That defines who you are, in what certain direction you are headed and how much you can achieve. The truth is, many languish and blame witches later when they discover how much opportunities they had lost being without a vision and a plan. Slothfulness destroys you but you hardly notice you are going off course and, of course, it feels so good - but only for a moment, then reality sets in and you have to struggle a whole lot, telling everyone what chances you had missed and how you used to be this and that and they will join you in your pity party to make you feel good and your condition is worse off. You need to quickly redefine vision and purpose to get out of the mess and continue from where you stopped. Take relevant steps and embrace self-discipline to stay on course. Vision and purpose give you a certain enduring strength to surmount all odds - no matter how daunting and puts a smile on your face when you wouod ordinarily have cried. I don't know how you read your Bible, but that is what the Scriptures mean when it says to apply works to your faith. The real question is, after that prayer and fasting, what next? Many leave a vacuum where deliberate work has to fill in and keep on praying and binding witches and wizards. Could it be you need to acquire some new skill? Could it be you need to change your company? That could be all you needed all along. Post Merge: January 25, 2012, 08:10:32 PM
Has anybody in the security agencies ever bothered to ask.how the Boko Haram operatives get Amonium Nitrate in such large quantities to make and detonate Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs)? Shouldn't rapid investaigations have been carried out all this while? Or is it deliberate that the sources are left open to make it easy to.access them? There is great need to curtail access to the materials. Even your Ammonium Nitrate fertilizer used for agricultural purposes is one veritable source. What do we pay these top securith agents to do when they can hardly think or is it deliberatr?

God has put in them a spirit of confusion that they may expose and disgrace themselves openly. God will use them to execute themselves and make their minds go numb while He perfects His plans for Nigeria. Nigeria will rise again! Just take a seat, grab some Pop Corn, cross your legs and watch the drama that ensues at the national level. This is a year of outstanding revelations. After that comes restoration. They will be afflicted with strange diseases that make them very stupid and they will keep up the goofs and gaffes. No Pastor or Imam or native doctor can pray it away. Boko Haram and thieves around the corridors of power, your end has come. God will do what He will do. Nigeria will rise again! Post Merge: January 23, 2012, 10:21:31 AM
You must have been thrilled by a report circulating about Boko Haram strategies. Do not get carried away. It is a classical case of subterfuge aimed at diverting attention from the real issues. There are too many holes in the report. 1. Terrorists will not tell you their strategy. 2. Terrorists will not reveal the names and identities of their operatives who participated in a dastardly act. That report is clearly a work of fiction, something like Beauty and The Beast. 3. That report is meant to celebrate the prowess of the criminals masquerading as Boko Haram and to make them look invincible and untouchable. I advise strongly all citizens to be vigilant and not take take issues on personal security lightly. Community effort is the way to go. They are not more powerful than the collective strength of communities. Post Merge: January 23, 2012, 06:17:51 PM
Failure is a choice. It occurs only when men choose to stop trying to pursue their dreams to a logical conclusion. You have to learn to keep at it to attain success. Unfortunately, many throw in the towel and accept the next available alternative, not knowing that keeping at it makes you better and better and takes you many more inches closer to your desired goal. You just may have given up just because you did not see you were almost there. It's akin to a man who tilled the ground, toiled all day to water and nurture his crops only to abandon the farm not knowing that harvest time was only a few days away. That is highly pathetic failure. Wanna be on the winning side? You've got to keep on keeping on! Don't quit on me now! Post Merge: January 23, 2012, 07:35:51 PM
There is no state in the federation that ought to suffer from paucity of streams of internally generated revenues. In fact, all states are capable of self-sustenance if only the governors would quit playing dumb so they can see all the abundant vistas provided by nature as well as those opened up by Science & Technology and the largely unexplored infinite economic lands that consists of the sum total of the creative and inventive capacities of citizens, freely given, that abound in every state. It is the duty of a state's leaders who have vision to increase, nurture and harness those capacities for the well being of society and not to deplete, eclipse and decimate them through irresponsible behaviour and purblind vision.

Isn't it rather disheartening that after seeing the positive effect of standing up for our rights and demanding for good governance some still say that the findings of thr various probe panels will not have any positive impact and that it would go the way of previous panels that simply wasted national resources to buy airtime to give us some farcical Nollywood acts. I, sincerely, believe the real question we should be asking ourselves is, would you and I let it go that way? It is even more pertinent for us, having been so well informed to think up measures to ensure these probes are not meant to entertain us but must deliver tangible results in vitiating, at least, the scourge of corruption, its various manifestations and crippling effectd as well as put its virulent and merciless foot soldiers in prison bonds. Or are we really stupid? Time will tell. Post Merge: January 20, 2012, 09:07:44 AM
This is to all those self-appointed online defenders of bad governance and professional political prostitutes whose stock in trade consist of lies and deceit and those ones who make themselves endangered species by their thoughts. First, let me remind you that the President could not have been if you only or the Niger-Delta only voted. He is the president of Nigeria and not of the Niger-Delta. Many Nigerians fought for his ascension and had high expectations. He has failed too much. He has been on the saddle for more than two years, enough time to demonstrate capacity to lead right and to take this nation out of the woods. It is unfortunate that people like you who have psychological problems and suffer from inferiority complex see yourselves as endangered species and so you transfer your innate deficiencies and insecurity to the president's actions especially when Nigerians insist on their just rights. Majority of the people you saw in those crowds are Nigerians who voted for him but are rather disappointed in his ill-thought-out policies and lack-lustre performance on all fronts. He and his subordinates lied to Nigerians, giving clearly falsified figures and facts about issues relating to subsidy with a view to deceiving us even when the truth was obvious. Now we are regaled with blood-chilling revelations as we had forced his hands and the NASS to probe those institutions and you come twisting the truth everybody knows. Nigerians deserve good governance and must demand that. What I find most intriguing is how guys like you manage to do more collateral damage to his person and character by telling lies from both sides of your mouths everyday in an attempt to stand obvious truth on its head. I have also noticed that you guys suffer so much from a deficit of knowledge about his policies and when you are taken to task on the nitty-gritty and fine details, you snap and quarrel as a means of escape. Did he really send you guys? Please, go and study your constitution on the functions and responsibilities of the president and the rights of citizens so you can get proper education and stop making a mockery of the Office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Nobody hates him. The hate you perceive is a function of your deficiency in defending ill-thought-out policy and brazen lack lustre performance. Abeg make una go siddon joor! Can you imagine? For more than two years now we have been hearing 'give him time, give him time' and cock and bull stories about what our ancestors did and did not do right. He told us he had solutions and the ship of state was grinding to a halt instead. So we can't talk again because some people who have inflicted themselves with unfounded insecurity and 'endangered-species' mentality feel he is their property and so we must all swallow all the trash he shoves down our throats. I have often told these self-ppointed apostles to say a loud 'Amen!' to this prayer, if you really believe that Jonathan is running the affairs of Nigeria rightly, may your homes and your personal affairs be run the way Jonathan runs Nigeria and they all keep mute and simply stop commenting. Chronic, unrepentant liars. That is what they are. How can a people be so dubious about their fortunes and about the future of their children? This is way too appalling! The required citizens action now is to make sure the reports of the probe panels are not swept under the carpet and that justice is done. More citizens action is needed to police the goings on in government institutions. The local government and state governments should also be held accountable. Unfortunately, many who dubiously rode on the crest of the wave of protest and citizens action by really angry Nigerians have gone to sleep. Some were only looking for cheap popularity. Are they really looking for this man? Why would it take until yesterday to release his photograph? Or was the plan to let him get as far away as possible? why on earth would the security agents think a high profile criminal like the suspect who managed to escape the iron claws of the law would be stupid to hang around even on the very day he managed to escape? Na wa o! Some people are just not thinking at all. There is definitely more to this than meets the eye. Even a co-founder of the Boko Haram sect, Aliyu Tishako, had previously escaped from police custody too. Post Merge: January 20, 2012, 11:05:38 AM

They went to the area and opened fire killing over 32 innocent civilians in the area. I no fit shout o! LWKMD! Please read the following excerpt from today's edition of the Daily Sun. Police wey dey do gra gra for people dey fear, Lol: Meanwhile, following the sustained attacks on police and other security formations especially at the North-eastern flank of the country, some Squadron Commanders of the Police Mobile Force (PMF), have kicked against a proposed three-week training programme scheduled to commence at the PMF Training School in Gwoza, Borno State. The police authorities had, through a recent wireless message, signed by the Commissioner of Police in charge of the PMF, Mr. Philemon Leha, directed all Squadron Commanders across the country to report at the Gwoza training camp on February 1, for the 21-day training programme. But some of the commanders have described the move as packaging the officers on a suicide mission, citing the recent killing in Yobe State of two senior officers, including one of their colleagues and an Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, both of whom hailed from Katsina State, as a serious operational blunder. Rather than assembling the over 50 Squadron Commanders for training in Borno State, where Boko Haram had stepped up attacks in the wake of the state of emergency declared by President Jonathan in some parts of the country, the officers expressed their preference to undergo the programme at the PMF Training School at Ila-Oragun, in Osun State. “First, it is not a good operational judgment to withdraw all Squadron Commanders from their duty posts at this time when there are a lot of security challenges. Besides, considering the fact that the situation is still tense in Borno, Yobe, Adamawa, and some other states, why should the authorities decide to hold such a programme in Borno, where the officers are vulnerable to attack. The fact is that if Boko Haram members know that all the PMF commanders are in Gwoza, they could be tempted to strike there. And since we have an alternative, why not go there if the programme must hold now?” one of the commanders asked. Post Merge: January 20, 2012, 11:28:28 AM

In recent weeks, there have been increasing and disturbing reports of attempted importation of arms and ammunition into the country. Most recently, the Ghana Police Service intercepted a truckload of arms destined for Nigeria. The suspects are currently assisting police investigation. The Presidency, expectedly, says it is deeply worried by the development and has ordered an investigation into the matter with a view to unraveling the masterminds of the arms importation. Preliminary investigation by the police high command in Ghana quoted the driver of the vehicle to have said that the sponsors of the cache of arms had made one successful entry into Nigeria before luck ran out on them. Only a day after the Nigeria-bound arms were intercepted in Ghana, a Briton, Mr. Gary Hyde, an arms dealer from Yorkshire, England, was arraigned in a London court for allegedly smuggling 80,000 guns and 32 million rounds of ammunition from China to Nigeria. Mr Hyde has also been fingered as the arms merchant behind the 2007 shipment of 40,000 AK 47 assault rifles, 10,000 9mm pistols into Nigeria. His trial is already attracting headlines in the British media. Prosecutors say Mr. Hyde’s arms deals are illegal. The British authorities also say Mr Hyde has not yet been granted licence to trade in arms. - DAILY SUN The logical questions are, who are those in government who are involved with these guys? Who are those in the security agencies who work with them? If you can answer these questions, you would have successfully unravelled the fourth dimension of violent crimes in the country disguised as Boko Haram. Operatives in the dimension are the most highly connected. All fingers point somewhere. Draw your conclusions. Post Merge: January 20, 2012, 02:10:03 PM

Awesome God! Who is there like you? You who know the innermost secrets. You who know the end from the very beginning. It is impossible for you to tell a lie. Dear Dad, You promised an end to Boko Haram in our land as the last year was ending. You also promised to expose anyone who has stolen from the nation and would not repent and do restitution. In your own words, 'Let the thief steal no more.' Oh, papa, I am, indeed, awed! What is man - mere mortal - You deem it fit to place him on a pedestal to know Your mind and Your thoughts concerning our nation? You who live forever! You, O God, who causes to become and who enthrones and dethrones kings and humble emperors and oppressors of Your children and make them eat grass like the beast of the fields. Almighty God, if You could.bring us this far, we know for sure You will completely route the enemies of this nation from North to South and from East to West. You will bring them all to the threshing floor and hold them in utter disgrace that righteousness may reign in our land and that the voice of the.wicked may be silenced in this land, that Egbesu and the company of witches may be silenced and all their activities may be brought to naught. Glorify Yourself O God! Arise O God and Lover of our souls and let Your enemies be scattered! Nigeria will rise again! You will bring all of them to book! We know You will! Thank You Dad for Your loving kindness and mercy upon our land! Love You very much, Dad. Accept the supplications of your children. May they ascend unto You as sweet smelling savour! May they please Your heart! We are nothing without You! Post Merge: January 19, 2012, 09:26:21 AM
Expose the wicked man. Remove him from your midst. Righteousness is doing what God wants you to do, when He wants you to do it, how He wants you to do it and where He wants you to do it. It is about His timing, His plans, His thoughts and never yours! Even death cannot stop you 'cos you are on a set course and on the King's mission. He who has sent you will break doors of iron open and will level mountains to grant you unfettered access to everything you set your heart on. Post Merge: January 19, 2012, 09:31:09 AM

Will he grab them with both hands and bring the culprits to book or will he sweep it all under the carpet? Will he allow tribal sentiments and pressures from the Axes of Evil to becloud his judgement or will he prove himself the people's president to restore trust by doing what is right and lawful: put the criminals in jail? May he not squander this last golden opportunity. If he does, he is finished and there is absolutely nothing that will stop the deluge of anger from Nigerians that will overwhelm him, armed soldiers or not. Boko Haram is government tool to keep our tongues wagging and to occupy our attention in unproductive jaw-jaw while they loot the treasury to finance the notorious trade of an equally very notorious arms cartel. Government had so much in its hands, fearing an insurrection to continue to bomb places. They simply would have infuriated Nigerians the more. So do not be surprised there was no bomb blast throughout the period of the protests.

Deceit is the name of the game. Right from the very first day, it has beeen lies and deception all the way. While asking for dialogue, the FG finances scanty crowds to make some irrelevant noise. It appears to me this FG is not only a squanderer of national resources, it is also a chronic squanderer of goodwill and golden opportunities to make it right with the people and to be in their good books. This FG is obviously government for the cabal and by the cabal. Nigerians, we must take our country back. As for those who play ethnic cards showing nauseating support for what is very wrong and anti-people claiming thus is geared towards bringing down their brother in power, they should have a rethink. Their brother would never become president without the votes from all parts of the country (legitimate or illegitimate). He is Nigeria's President and not President of the South-South of Nigeria. His action affects every part of Nigeria. It is even embarrassing to hear you guys claim repeatedly to have been buying PMS for much more than that price all these years. The reason is not farfetched. Your leaders and supposed freedom fighters are the merchants shortchanging you instead of insisting that the right thing be done. They profit at your expense buying choice houses in Abuja and many parts of the.world, leaving you, the masses of the Niger Delta, to scrape the bottom of the pot. They connive with your government officials to cheat you so badly. This struggle is for you also. I think we must all wake.up to the realities of the times. The era of government run by greed is over. Post Merge: January 15, 2012, 11:25:59 AM
Labaran Maku is such an irresponsible public officer and pathological liar. He claims other forces other than labour had attended the meeting with the FG yesterday. When Gbenga Aruleba reminded him that the participants at the meeting were shown on arrival on TV, Maku insisted there were yet others. I guess the others made it to State House without invitation. I guess also they appeared mysteriously on the seats at the venue. He is even such an unintelligent and disgusting liar. He is politicizing the whole issue making it look like it is opposition parties at work, urging labour not to shift grounds. Nigerians, can you imagine how unpatriotic these guys in starched caftan and bowler hats and suits supposedly representing the masses are. This is Simply so disgusting and to think this is happening in this age when there are so many more enlightened Nigerians. Just tune to AIT and watch him embarrass himself and the FG playing on stupid sentiments. Even when asked to name the other persons other than labour he could not. What kind of a father is he to his children?

It is so painful to see once respected Nigerians sell their consciences to the devil and tell pathological lies like Nigerians are so daft and stupid. it is clearly evident these guys have not cyet undertood that Nigerians have come of age and that they are no longer those simpletons they had once connived with devils to deceive. Irreversible change is here. No more shall the people be taken for granted. It is equally saddening to here proponents of subsidy removal refer to the mammoth crowds as sponsored. All Nigerians cannot be wrong. It is indeed futile for the government to waste so much energy and resources on a fruitless mission. I think the end of the heneration of maggots is near. Not even the old trick of ethnic sentiments is working anymore. Great Nigerians, I salute you. Truly, the labour of our heroes past shall not be in vain.

The NASS has spoken. However, it is somewhat curious why the NASS failed to move for the investigation and prosecution of those who sabotage the oil sector. I repeat, is it possible for the sabboteurs to carry out their activities without the active connivance of persons in the NNPC, NIMASA, Nigerian Customs, Staff of the Ministry of Finance, hitmen and pimps for 'deals' in the Presidency and the Offices of thr Accountant General and Auditor General of the Federation? It is not.only about reverting to the old price. Those who have stolen should and must be punished without delay. Those who kept on emphasizing on the existence of a cabal still cannot identify the cabal. But they tell us, including Sanusi and Ngozi, that there were cases of overinvoicing and round tripping and documents to that effect. Do the documents not have names of organizations or persons? What about to those non-oil companies including Julius Berger that were not.registered for such business? Who is responsible for verifying the records, the claims and what was actually supplied? Who pays out the subsidy money and to whom were they paid? Unfortunately, those who canvassed subsidy removal in the NASS debate fell short of expectations and only played on stupid, nonsensical sentiments including appeal to personal rapport. I watched pathetic idiots make a mess of the President's case instead. However, apart from a few who made solid contributions to the debate on the general principles of the Budget proposal, there were hardly efforts geared towards evolving creative ways of putting the economy back on track and to.wean us.away from an era of absolute stupidity and archaic reasoning in terms of how to revamp the economy. In all of these, nobody is talking about the role of each state governor and local government chairman in creating productive and vibrant economic atmosphere for sound growth and in tapping the inventive ingenuity of Nigerians which abounds in the nation in all parts. The emphasis should be on investing in the people and not on private ventures for themselves. Until.the demon of corruption is crushed and examples are made out of those who sabotage the economy, we will keep on beating about the bush. I do believe we must work in a concerted way to bring to book all those who steal the bread of generations now living and in the future. Finally, the NASS must of necessity take a look at the costs attached to items.in the budget thoroughly to ensure that we borrow for productive ventures, if at all we need to. I believe that if this angle were thoroughly looked at to.ensure.that overinflated costs are pruned down, I want to believe that we do not need to borrow at all anymore. Can't government make this invaluable sacrifice for the.development of the nation? Are Nigerians asking for too much from those who ought to be custodians of.the commonwealth on their behalf? This period calls for great national sacrifice and leadership must take the lead. To really move the nation forward positively, we need to go beyond mere rhetorics as the fraudulent 2012 Budget Proposal represents. The FG needs to do the following as a matter of urgency: 1. Attach timelines, milestones and deliverables to.every budget item. This way, Nigerians can gauge performance and ask questions and.the.government should be forth coming where there are variations required. That way, Nigerians can be carried along. Whether the government likes it or not, Nigerians have come of age and they will not stop.demanding that the right thing be done. If they have not seen that yet then that is their cup of tea. Nigerians will no longer accept to be taken for a ride. 2. The FG, particularly the Presidency, is the power house of.vision to move the nation forward. I repeat, it is critical to.see the forest first before examining the trees. In essence, the FG must take a critical look wholistically at all the.sectors of.the.economy and understand clearly the interplay of.forces and factors that influence them as well as.those that come into play in their interrelationships so.as to have a total picture in forming realistic vision and issuing policy directives in conjunction with other tiers of.government to move the nation forward. In this regard, we need realistic.long term strategic plans and.not the.present fire brigade approach. This approach has cost us so much and we are all witnesses of the.consequences. The National Council.of State could form the.core of this move with a body consisting of delegated experts from.each state to create this vision and work.out execution details and report to the National Council of.State. 3. The Federal Ministry of Information.should be reorganized along professional lines and its leadership.must.con sist of.industry professionals who would sell.the vision to Nigerians who can now begin to key into.it and give the.needed support across.sectors. 4. Clear cut measures must be put in place to ensure.transparency of the.processes, activities, use of materials and finances across.sectors to.ensure accountability. Let.me state that this is the only way Nigerians who are all stakeholders in the affairs of their nation can be carried along and meaningful progress made with less acrimony. In fact, if Nigerians can see.government truly working in their behalf, they.will team up spontaneously.to.de fend the government. The overall lessons.for.leaders hip in all tiers of government is to.respect.the wishes of the people and to stay on the side of the people. It is the wisest and safest thing to do. Fellow Nigerians, I bless God for.this day. Let us sustain the tempo. I suggest that we all remain one and shun divisive elements and sentiments. We can achieve so much more than we can ever imagine. The altitude of our vision and success depends largely on our attitude and the depth of.our unity. Stay blessed! Post Merge: January 09, 2012, 03:06:50 PM
Mr. President's Annual Basic Salary is N42,000,000 (Fourty Two Million Naira). 25% amounts to N10,500,000. However, I am yet to get details about the allowances which are more than 20 times this amount put together. These are all in spite of the fact that we feed him, we clothe him, we pay his children's school fees in expensive schools, we pay his medical bills, we pay his utility bills, we pay for his toiletries, we fuel his fleet of vehicles at his service and even buy those vehicles, we give him free accomodation, all of these and even more are extended to his extended family members, we pay for his security much more than we spend to secure the entire nation. Do this same Math for the Vice President, The Senate President and his Deputy, the Speaker and his deputy, the national assembly leaders, the ministers, ghe governors and their deputies and their stranger than fiction security votes to secure nothing but themselves while Nigerians are left at the mercy of killers and without defence, we do these also for lazy louts for Local Government Chairmen, most of them placed there by the governors as gatekeepers through fraudulent electoral means including also Councillors, State House of Assembly members, the National Assembly members, public servants in irrelvant agencies, boards and parastatals and ministries and thousands of irrelevant aides for all of them. Nigerians, can you see where the problem with the economy lies? We borrow to pay maggits - fat maggots who feed on the fortunes of the nation, disgusting economic parasites who offer nothing in exchange for what we spend on them. These same people are the cabal who sabotage the economy through fraudently inflated contract awards. They sabotage the petroleum sector, the power sector and every aspect of the economy. They steal our money and lend it back to us at a profit as internal debts. It is no longer so viable for them to take these monies abroad what with Ibori's debacle. They are laundered internally by fraudulent governments that issue bonds - the latest means of keeping these monies for thieves and you and I pay interests to the thieves for taking what was ours in the first place. We employ them to watch over ghe treasury and to protect our interests and our commonwealth. The compromise processes and make transparency and accountability near impossible and they tell us about cabals instead. Who are these cabals? Fellow Nigerians, they are the core of the cabals. No sabboteur cqn succeed if they do not collude with them. They should account for our money and tell us what they have done with it. We want our money back in our coffers. Enough is enough. Despite all of these, they have the audacity to push the burden of their stupidity and wickedness on the masses who have suffered so much already and yet choose to kill innocent Nigerians for demanding to be served well and to be given an account of the uses to which their money is put. The real culprits who commit economic crimes are protected. This is unacceptable!

Honestly, I felt for Mr. President yesterday. The man seems so.troubled, weary, so weak and tired. But he seems to be held hostage by some forces and so he falls short of telling Nigerians what they want to hear. Instead, he gets set to unleash.brutal force. It is confrontational and I really.do not think Nigerians are mived by Zokumor's threat. He sounds like a highly uncultured man and you don't issue threats to the people who feed, clothe and accomodate you and also with whose money you have become such a fattened elephant. There are civil ways of making his point clear. It does not make sense that he chooses to fight Nigerians instead of dealing decisively with the so-called cabal. He made a clear choice to protect the cabal instead of the people. We want the cabal brought to book immediately. Nigerians want to know who the cabal are destroying their heritage. Dem carry fire for head? These guys are compounding the problem. Can't you see there is now an alignment of unusual forces? The actions and speeches of these guys are further infuriating Nigerians instead. Who are the handlers of these guys? Who write their speeches? The truth is, with the way the security agents are going, they have lost track and they have shown evidence they are scared instead. I don't even understand what's happening anymore. It is getting too late. Let these guys open their eyes and see. Nigerians are ready for a total showdown and I feel.so.sorry for the.security agents should their bullets fell one more innocent Nigerian fighting for their just constitutiinal rights against a few persons who hold the nation hostage. What does it take for them to see they cannot.defeat the people? I am really afraid these guys in government are creating huge problems for themselves - very huge problems and it appears to me the masterstroke that will end this whole thing in the end will come from the.security agencies in favour of the people who are their blood and flesh, relatives and fellow compatriots. Who in the security agencies is out to destroy President Jonathan and batter his reputation so badly? I think there is much more than meets the eye in all of these. The president seems a pawn being used and will be dumped into the trash can by these very forces who do not mean well. What I find difficult to fathom out is why the president plays into their hands so easily. Something is definitely wrong somewhere. He clearly is not in charge of this government neither is he acting in behalf of the people. It is so obvious. The man from Otuoke is held hostage by forces beyond him and they call the shots and he has to obey. I do not know any force more powerful than the people. Mr. President should come on the.side of the masses. Those forces holding him hostage will be crushed. Post Merge: January 08, 2012, 11:57:23 AM
Fellow Nigerians we all concentrated on turning the heat. on the President alone. We have forgotten to turn equal amount of heat on the notorious governors and local government officials and public officers at those levels who run state institutions like private empiresband personal fiefdoms. As it were, they wouod be receiving part of the subsidy money and I can imagine that some morons among them are already planning how to add more wives and concubines, build more houses in choice places, corner enough money for the next round of elections to.step up their.chances through fraudulent electoral practices and in so many more ways for which they siphon public funds. These guys and even the NASS need to.cut down their emoluments to and get down to the business of serving the people. They queue behind the president to.cheat the masses and have begun to hallucinate about what private empires they would create for themselves from the money. Let all Nigerians begin to hold them accountable. Whether we believe it or.not, the President has told us.what he would do with the.federal share. These guys need to tell us how.they intend to utilize their share for the people. They must all make equal verifiable commitment immediately. No slacking biko! MENE MENE TERKEL URPHASIN. FIAT JUSTITIA RUAT CAELUM ( LET JUSTICE PREVAIL EVEN THOUGH THE HEAVENS FALL). IT IS TOO LATE. Post Merge: January 06, 2012, 01:54:38 PM
Who pays them subsidy? Who gives them licenses? To Whom have we entrusted responsibility by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to watch over our affairs and to punish those who sabotage the economy? It is the same persons who connive with the ones listed as organizations that are paid subsidy and refuse to bring the cabal to book because they are also.includedbin this huge scam perpetrated against Nigeri and Nigerians. It is the FG and the organs it.controls that are directly responsible. Could those who cook up stories to.distract us please stop being economical with the.truth? They are beginning to sound so stupid instead. For those of you seeking advisory roles, I think your first advise to them is to pay back all thry have siphoned through subsidy to the nation's coffers. Post Merge: January 06, 2012, 03:36:11 PM
Fellow Nigerians, we have begged, we have have cried, we have made supplications. They have all fallen on deaf ears. It is total war with these bastards. What do they take us for? Why would the President and his incoherent primary school debate team think all Nigerians are fools? The evidence against them is astounding, astonishing and stunning. They have tried all the known tricks in the books including sending diversionary e-mails to distract us from seeking the truth. We have suggested ways out of this mess including sacrifices on their own part which sacrifice will clear this logjam. But no, they believe they command the army, the air force, the police, the SSS who are also Nigerians and they can turn them lose on us. President Ebelemi Jonathan, the governors and their allies in thr NASS who have failed to prevail on the president to do the biddings of the people from whom they derive power call Nigerians idiots who would run into the comfort of their homes as soon as their bullies charge at them. They underestimate the resolve of the people. We have spoken enough. These guys are deaf and dumb to the truth. Let them reap what they have sown. Fellow Nigerians, let the nation be shut down completely and if Jonathan and his team lack creativity and inventive genius to move the nation forward without fleecing the masses further and they fail to make a firm commitment backed by law to slash their emoluments and perks of office as well as remove those ridiculous items in the budget to enrich themselves criminally, then let there be a total show down. They demand to see the power of the people and they shall see it. It is impossible for a few men to take on 150m Nigerians and not be badly bruised beyond repair. If any security agent loves himself and his family, they should leave the protesters alone and instead advise the president not to send them on a suicide mission. Nonsense! I see so clearly that there is a cacophony of voices and positions on the real issues at stake. We are all not speaking with one voice. While some focus on the issue of subsidy alone, some are focused just on corruption and yet others focus on both. There is still a category whose focus is REVOLUTION. These riotous tunes are watering down the fervour, the strength, the zeal and the morale of the whole thing. I should think if we would make any real headway, we must all reason with each other, collapse our interests for.headship of.groups and work as one, speaking with one voice. I am.not really sure what we are fighting for anymore with this present babel of voices. There are too many discordant tunes. As it were, there are too many hidden interests, personal pride of.the leaders of groups and this, I must say is a strong weakness that could be exploited by government to.cause us to break ranks and in the end, we would only have succeeded in talking as usual. Absolutely nothing can be achieved this way. Post Merge: January 05, 2012, 07:03:14 PM
I have never been more convinced that the real problem with Nigeria are insincerity, selfishness and.unbridled greed among Nigerian leaders, compounded by citizen followers who are so dubious about their stakes and fortunes. I am indeed very sad. It is well! Just what have we become? Post Merge: January 06, 2012, 06:56:16 AM
When wisdom takes flight, the nation is in trouble - big trouble. This country is in a real mess and thise we went to the polls to elect by error have turned themselves into a cabal telling Nigerians persistent lies - so economical with the truth. Re-engineering the economy will lead us no where without an even greater measure of sacrifices demanded of the masses by public servants. That they still do not consider this angle of attaining massive savings, way much more than fuel subsidy removal is baffling and provides glaring evidence of official wickedness, gross insensitivity and unbelievable propensity for shameless acquisition of wealth at the expense of the masses. For God's sake, these guys are giant economic parasites and it beats my imagination that all the Doctoratedl degree wielding economists in government cannot see this huge monster sucking the blood of our economy and to call for caution and repentance as well as restitution on the part of government officials. They would rather they set up machinery to kill, maim, cripple and fight the masses - machinery they purchased and equipped from the sweat of the masses. There must be a demon living in Aso Rock and all Nigerians must team up to crush that demon without delay! I am beginning to wonder

Mr. President. Fellow compatriots and I fought tooth and nail against a so-called formidable cabal that stood against your ascension to the Presidency in line with the provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We wrought tirelessly under the sun to ensure that your constitutional rights were not breached. We damned the consequences because we felt you could deliver what with your calmness and educational qualification, after the unfortunate demise of your boss, late President Umar Yad'Adua of blessed memory. Our assumptions were as follows: 1. You were elected on the same ticket with Yardie and you ought to have understood the currents and undercurrents as well as the real issues behind policies and decisions and you were in a position, therefore, to carry on from where he stopped. We also realized that he was ill and he left much of the responsibility of governance in your care as your chaired many strategic organs of state and we believed that was sufficient time for you to have initiated vision and direction for the job you currently were employed to do by Nigerians. 2. The Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria provides a clear succession mechanism which requires that the Vice President must take over except where he is clearly incapacitated or has gone bananas (insane). 3.Having ridden smoothly on the back of the masses' goodwill, we expected you to remain on the side of the people and to bring about the complete destruction of the demon of corruption so as to ensure a reign of order, decorum, a clear sense of responsibility and accountability in government and to put a rein on proligate spending habits of government officials. We direly expected you to rule by example. We saw you as one who was carrying the blessings of God to deliver. But we began to notice you had eaten the bread of corruption and that you had been so quickly initiated into the club of senseless and profligate spenders of the monies in our treasury and that you, in an unprecedented way, courted, cajoled, feted and dined with maggots and criminals from whom you should recover our monies for development purposes. In that process, we found out, to our dismay, that you frittered away all the savings of the Obasanjo Government for absolutely nothing tangible, apart from revenues accruing to the federation under your watch and that you failed to save. We watched you make promises that were watery and we saw through it all and we noticed you were unable to come up with a clear cut vision to move the nation forward. We saw how you based your electoral campaigns on falsehood and we observed that more than any other candidate, you had a better chance to showcase what you had done in 1 year and 1 month, but you had none other than some piece of Essay on paper called the Power Roadmap. We read the contents of the document and discovered that it was a bundle of tricks and confusion and we pointed out the falsity of the claims but you turned deaf ears. Today, we are regaled with evidence of your gross failure along that line as power stations were built far from the source of gas and this long after we had queried the sense in not ensuring proper gas distribution infrastructure first. Mr. President, you squandered your goodwill and you chose to become a friend of thieves and destroyers of the economy and those who profit from compounding the miseries of the masses. We would have stood solidly behind you to fight these elements but we were shocked at your rapid transformation and conversion to the cult of wickedmen whose actions and fowl breath are inimical to the system and constitute the very cancer at the heart of the failure of all governments since independence. We were shocked to discover that rather than regale us with evidences of your performance in spite of huge sums of money in the coffers at your disposal, you only told Nigerians what you would do and not what you had done. We purred through the records to discover you had senselessly depleted all the savings in our reserves and put us in more debt and returned us to a era of dubious debt servicing even before the last elections. You employed the services of an army of poorly informed internet warriors, bereft of ideas and points to defend your failure but who instead bloodied the virtual world with frequent e-Fights and insults and promoted an era of Cyber-Hooliganism. In the end, the hen has come home to roost and your secrets are out in the open. Rather than repent of this evil you had done to our economy, you come up with Voodoo and Casino Economics that ruined Europe and the United States and turn around to betray the masses of this country. Why do you think the masses deserve to be treated so badly even when there is ample evidence they are so impoverished? We remember vividly all the lies you told us about minimum wage increase just to win the last elections. We remember all the further lies and denials when it was time to implement it. Mr. President Labour and all Nigerians felt we should bury the hatchet and give you time to settle down. Then you came with this evil scheme to destroy the already poor living standards of Nigerians even further and put them in deeper mess. You told us you were consulting and that you had shelved implementation to April, you went from Church to Church pretending to love God when you had this evil plan to renege on your promises and inflict further suffering on Nigerians so suddenly. What we find most interesting is your refusal to curb wastage in the institutions of government, cut down on your frivolous expenses including your ridiculous cost of feeding in the budget as well as a very laughable amount set aside for cutleries and dishes which you already have. You ask Nigerians to make sacrifices they have always made while you increase your personal benefits criminally. You have forgotten that the bulk of money earmarked for Recurent Expenditure is set aside for your ungodly remuneration and perks of office as well as those of other public servants. It did not even occur to you that that is were the problem is with the economy at present. You guys earn over 20 times what the average Nigerian earns btu you dont deem it right to make sacrifices by slashing the self-appropriated wicked salaries and perks of office thereby making sacrifices for Nigerians whom you claim to love and in whose interests you claim to be protecting. This, despite the fact that we subsidize even excessively your feeding, your fleet of vehicles, fuel for your fuel-gozzler vehicles and gigantic generators nationwide, education for your wards, your accomodation scattered all over the country, utility services, healthcare, your security (yes we pay the bills), your merry-go-rounds and gallivanting across the globe wnd internally to dance 'Kerewawa' in political campaigns which you fund illegally from state funds, accomodation for the bunch of economic liabilities and parasites - completely useless to themselves and the economy whom you lodge in Nicon Hilton and other expensive hotels across the country and the globe. We are also astounded and stir agape at your refusal to bring those who constitute the so-called cabals in the petroleum and power sectors to book even though you and institutions under your watch issue licenses and pay out these monies. Mr. President, are they spirits? Judge for yourself if you have been fair to Nigerians. You have failed to be faithful on so many counts. So why should we trust you now? The onus rests on you to make us trust you. Don't blame Nigerians for reacting this way to your unfaithfulness. If you must gain the trust of Nigerians again, you must do the following: 1. Order the PPPRA to revert to the old price of PMS immediately. 2. Arrest and prosecute immediately all NNPC officials found to be involved in the cartel committing economic sabotage and all those so-called cabal members. 3. Cut down immediately on the cost of doing government business. If you want us to list them, we will and they are so many. 4. Review downwards the amount earmarked for security and channel that money to revamping the real sector, Science and Technology, Education, Health Services, power generation and distribution and Agriculture. 5. Put in place measures to deal decisively with those who sabotage the economy and bring them to book without delay. Give the EFCC teeth to bite with and stop interfering in their operations. If you do these, you are on your way to writing your name permanently on the sands of time. If you don't, you will leave office a monumental disgrace. These are truths your lieutenants do not tell you. Mr. President, we do not hate you. But we will not let you mess up Nigerians anymore. We remain resolutely behind the masses. We will do the same with any other government. True sovereignty belongs to the people and there it must remain. Thank you for taking time to read this. Post Merge: January 04, 2012, 10:30:12 AM
For those who think PDP is the problem, the Constitution does not vest the powers of the President on the PDP. That power is currently vested on only one man who should wake up to his responsibilities: Goodluck Ebelemi Jonathan. He either swims with the people or he sinks. PDP stalwarts will leave him to suffer alone when the chips are down and the earlier he realized that the better. For God's sake, he is the president! No other Nigerian has such powers to effect change like he does except the masses. He had better sit up or we shall strip him of those powers and do what he has failed to do ourselves. He is there fore us and not for idiots. Post Merge: January 04, 2012, 12:40:12 PM
Reports reaching me suggest that he protests in Rivers State have been hijacked by the state government. Is this true? Can anyone clarify? Are Port Harcourt people immune to the gruesome impact of fuel subsidy removal? Or have comrades been compromised? Post Merge: January 04, 2012, 01:41:03 PM
There is something I find quite intriguing about this government and I think I need the your opinion, fellow Nigerians. It always seems to find a way to rope itself into more mess while claiming to solve some problem. Could it be they hardly can think things through or are they just caught off guard as Nigerians suddenly have become interested in the affairs of the nation. Whatever is the reason for this, I really do believe that they lack conviction about what they are doing and they do not really seem so sure. When the issue of subsidy first came up, I did point out that the so-called palliative measures were a hoax and would not have direct bearing on the livelihoods neither would it ameliorate the sufferings of Nigerians who would bear the brunt of the mess. First, if you would provide palliatives, for how long would it be sustained? If you could provide palliatives, why not leave subsidy? The premise I raised then was that government would end up spending more to sustain palliatives. Now, they did an about turn and listed so many projects that had been provided for in previous budgets but failed to tell us what happened to the monies that had been paid on those projects. Were those monies paid to ghosts? Eww! One more thing. Now they have set up an unconstitutional Committee to supervise the spending from the so-called savings for projects. By what constitutional provision would the committee be empowered? Even if the committee has powers to appropriate the monies, how would that old man who chairs the committee monitor what the monies are being used for? From Abuja? Can you imagine the cost ferrying those committee members across the country to monitor? Can you imagine what it would cost to run a secretariat for the committee and costs of communications and sundry expenses? Can you imagine cost of providing vehicles for them? Tell me, my fellow Nigerians, how much of the supposedly saved money would be left after expenses to implement those huge projects? Once again, would it not be cheaper to block the drainage pipes through which our monies disappear by bringing those who have been involved in sabotaging the system to book, recover our monies and sanitize the system for effective throughput performance? If you asked me, this is the cheapest and most viable solution and not to kill the masses, subjecting them to untold hardship! Why is President Jonathan afraid to exercise his immense Presidential powers against enemies of the nation and yet decides to flex his muscle with weapons bought with our money and security agents who we feed and clothe and provide for? Who is he working for? Who is preventing him from doing his job or what is right? We want to know and let me tell him clearly that all Nigerians are ready to feast on them. All he needs to do is to be faithful to the oath he took to protect the interests of Nigerians and to defend the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He should point them out and leave the rest to us. Or is he one of them? Nigeria must move forward! Post Merge: January 04, 2012, 02:50:45 PM
Patriots in London join in the protests. We expect patriots in other countries to join soon. Ehi Zulu wites: PRINT, PHOTOCOPY, SHARE AND EDUCATE! THE REASONS WHY WE WILL PROTEST Many of you are asking yourselves why you need to get out of your comfort zone and into the streets to protest about the withdrawal of fuel subsidy. The government’s argument is that if we do not stop funding fuel subsidy, the economy will crash and we all will go down with it. But are there no other places to reduce spending to save money? Let us take a few moments and consider these points: David Mark earns N600 million annually, enough money to set up at least, 100 schools in his Benue State President Jonathan and his friends will eat N1 billion worth of food in 2012, while fuelling their cars for N1.7 billion. This amount will build at least, 50 good health care centres in the South-South N200 million was budgeted to water the gardens of the President in 2011. This is enough to educate 200 Nigerians through university education This is more than a quest for economic rights, it a quest for justice. This is not about fuel subsidy, it is about the ruling class’ war on the Nigerian masses. They cannot claim our country is broke when president Goodluck Jonathan continues to feed fat on N3 million worth of food everyday. They cannot claim to be broke when they increased the recurrent expenditure of the 2012 budget by another N92 billion. They cannot claim to be broke when the First Lady just spent N5billion furnishing an office. They cannot claim to be broke when in the whole budget is about their salaries and allowances. BOTTOM LINE: Government seeks to impoverish us the more by removing fuel subsidy while they continue to waste money on their friends and families! ACTION PLAN: We will have PEACEFUL PROTESTS in all the 36 states + FCT from Friday 6th of January 2012 at 10am Post Merge: January 04, 2012, 04:01:03 PM
What is wrong with Nigerian government officials also making sacrifices? Are they not also Nigerians? If they believe so much in the workability of their plans, they should also stake their incomes by slashing it by half, buy their own petrol, feed themselves, educate their children, pay their healthcare bills, pay for their hotel bills, pay their PHCN bills from their income and pay the prostitutes they lodge in guest houses funded by us from their pocket. They should also sell those guest houses and evacuate all those they lodge with our monies in Nicon Hilton and other choice hotels at great costs to the masses and use the money for development. Abi na only the common man dey make sacrifice? If you argue that if is for the benefit of all Nigerians, what income does the average Nigerian earn that you intend to erode? IT should affect only the high and mighty. Post Merge: January 05, 2012, 08:21:57 AM
From all indications, the subsidy issue is a hoax. There is much more than meets the eye. Subsidy is a lie government tells us to increase the cost of pertoleum products. In fact, to show how mean these guys are, they have refused to explore savings, far much more than the cost of subsidy, from cutting down on the cost of doing government business including slashing their self-appropriated huge incomes and hidden monies with which the budget was padded for their personal gains under ridiculous sub-heads including gardening and dishes as well as removing the prodigious costs of sustaining the parasitic public service officials who give far less for what they get at our expense. Who do they want to bribe with buses? By how much will the buses reduce ghe burdens on the people. Will they not be subsidizing the cost of tickets for those buses?

Abu Qaqa or whatever you call yourself. This is the year of your death, you and all those in government and in the security agencies you work with that make you and your notorious gangs of armed drug addicts appear invincible, threatening fire and brimstone for a suicidal cause. You will be found and publicly executed. From this day onward all your threats become curses on you and your cohorts and your entire households. For every bomb you detonate you multiply the curses. You will beg for death and it will elude you. Every innocent blood you have shed will bear witness against you. You are of your father the devil and you share the same fate with him: eternal condemnation. You and your group will only escape if there is no God in Heaven who made all things and defends His own. Your days are numbered! Post Merge: January 02, 2012, 02:16:05 PM
All those of you who are working against the interest of Nigeria and Nigerians and whobprofit from the miseries of the people eating and drinking and clinking glasses over your successful misappropriation of public funds, go and repent or the God of Heaven will destroy you all and your entire households. You will wrought and toil and find no bread. Every investment you make will vanish into thin air for.reasons you cannot explain. Your homes will be ravaged by pestilence and pains. You will look for.solutions and you will not find. Every pastor and Imam and every Nigerian who has had a share in.stealing the bread of generations remain cursed unless you turn the monies to the coffers. You will become a fugitive in the earth and everyone who sees you will destroy you unless you repent and return our moneis to the coffers of the state. Whatever security measures you take to supposedly to protect yourselves will be porous and all the lies you have told the public will find you. You and your entire households will be disgraced unless God is no more God. Post Merge: January 02, 2012, 07:19:37 PM
Men of the so-called anti-terrorist squad have arreted two innocent Nigerians, Mr. Martin Obono and Nwaorgu for protesting against fuel subsidy removal. President Jonathan equipped the squad of monsters and.killers to arrest innocent Nigerians for.standing on their.just rights. The president fights us with our own resources and refuses to bow to the wishes of the masses. It is critical to note that this same president who pretends to being a democrat ignores measures that could have helped the.government make significant savings by curbibg wastage, financial profligacy and immoral and ungodly wage bills as well as curbing the corrupt practices by the gargatuan parasitical public service that persistently poaches.on our commonwealth, but instead prefers to punish the masses. It is also important to note that this highly incompetent and.grossly sluggish president in terms of.initiating purposeful vision and clesar cut policy directions for 150m-strong hard wrosking and highly resourceful Nigerians is fast and deft at systematically plundering the nation's resources along with a group of political misfits. We demand that those two innocent, hard working self-employed Nigerians be released immediately. Mr. President should get this clear: we will defeat you and your evil hordes. You cannot win a fight against the people. As for you security mugus who are sent to arrest innocent Nigerians, you should be ashamed.of.yourselv es? This fight is for you all too. The one who.should arrested sends you to kill those who pay your bills. You will not succeed. If you continue along this path, you will get what you deserve. Post Merge: January 02, 2012, 07:55:52 PM
Fellow Nigerians, the die is cast. Mr. President's killer squad arrested two higly enterprising self-employed Nigerians who have toiked and wrought for your interest, for the interest of future generations today for protesting against his evil policy meant to decimate you and bring your sources of livelihood to.ruin. Many Nigerians voted for change and fought for a man with the face of deceit extra-ordinaire to.ascend the presidency even when the odds against him was formidable. Today, that same man who had no shoes - a pauper tutns against the masses who.made him. He declares war against the people and turns.animals in whose interests we fight against us. Will you let this wickedness stand? Were you born to.suffer amidst so much God has been so magnanimous to bless this land with but for the wickedness of a few in high places? Fellow.Nigerians, have you not had enough of a government bereft of.commonsense and ideas to move the nation forward, rigmaroling and.persistently beating about the bush for more than two years running. A man who should be a friend of the.people cbooses to be a friend of thieves and the criminals in high places who plunder our collective heritage, leaving you the masses in unbelievable penury and want. I call.on.you all not to.feel.complacent. Our lackadaisical attitude has led.to the killing and incarceration unlawfully and on trumped up charges of great men who left their comfort zones to.fight for.you and I. How long shall we continue to be cowards in the land of our birth. Nigeria belongs to you and not to this club of a handful of inglorious bastards who afe flogs in the wheel of.progress. Will you let them have their way or will you fight for your just rights and demand the respect.you deserve from.those who.lord it over you? We have lamented, wailed and prayed for more than 50 years as a nation but we have failed to matxh our bountiful supplications with requisite concrete action. Our forebears did the same, putting it all in God's hand while wicked men entrench themselves and persistently larxerate the backs of the masses treating you as second class citizens in the land of your birth. Fellow.Nigerians, it is time to cut off the hands of these lepers who abound in the.North, South, East and West of this country. I urge you all to rise up to this challenge and to put paid to this nonsense once and for all.time. Join in the struggle for thr.true.emancipati on of the.common man.from.slave drivers who are of us and live and procreate among us. They are not untouchable neither are they invincible. They are mere mortals and scums of the.earth who have plundered our heritage and seek to hold us.spell bound with their abysmal performance in government. President Jonathan has proved to be.the arrowhead of Corruption.Nigeria PLC incorporated by graft and.instituted on the blood and suffering of the.masses. This empire working against the people must be crushed with all our might and zeal. Arise O Nigerians. Arise. Motheroand needs you like never before now. It is time to take our nation back and to.put it.on tje.path of.definite progress birthed by vision of the many and not this mess we have right now. Or wouldyou rather you continued to suffer? Dr. Reuben Abati is a he-goat and he needs to be cured of his madness fuelled by doses of free petrol, free food, free condoms, free accomodation, free healthcare, free vehicles and 'connections' with the high and mighty. He is sick in the head to think that fighting for what concerns all Nigerians except the exclusive club he now belongs to amounts to playing politics. Post Merge: January 03, 2012, 12:46:54 PM
They failed so woefully to show us how the economy would collapse if fuel subsidy is not removed, instead they present ample evidence they are not ready to stem the rot in the system, preferring instead to protect the interests of those who commit economic crimes of monumental proportions that cripple the system. Again, they prefer to give Nigerians Scorpions in place of bread and Nigerians must suffer for the wickedness of a few - some of them in this present Federal Executive Council and on boards and parastatals and committees of government and in the National Assembly. We must not let this evil prevail in our land. We are not their slaves. They are our servants.
