Planning and implementing direct sales activities to achieve the sales targets
Handling key customer accounts effectively. Responding to new leads generated and following up until the lead is converted into customers.
Carrying out market research, competitor & customer surveys. Extensive travel to explore potential of remote markets.
Establishing mutually acceptable payment terms for the company and customer.
Must have at least 3 years experience in sales with knowledge of power products in Nigerian markets.
IT skills must include proficiency in Excel and MS Word
Proficiency in both spoken & written English.
Must be willing to travel within Lagos and outstation markets.
JOB DUTIESCollecting sales data from sales team.
Advising sales team on sales plan and stock allocation.
Planning new offers to major customers.
Meeting customer\'s product requirements at all times.
Planning strategies to dispose of slow moving items.
Identifying improvements required in product/ packaging
Keeping abreast of competitors activities & pricing
Maintaining computerised database on existing & prospective customers.
