One of the most important part in anybody’s life is career and jobs. Career planning must therefore be given the importance it deserves. You need to keep three things in mind while planning a career.

 Do a self assessment
1.   You must understand your skills and interests before looking for a job career, if not it will be of no use to you. You should try and identify the possible careers based on your interests and skills. To succeed in doing this, you must be focused and steady. No matter how long it takes it will certainly pay off in the end.

2.   How to explore career options
To be able to explore the job career options based on your skills and interests, you must take advantage of the internet. In addition to this, you should consult your teachers, seniors, friends and other professionals. Ask questions, because whoever ask questions hardly make mistakes.

3.   Set your career goals

If you want to achieve anything in your career planning, you should define your goals and ask yourself what exactly you want, your projected salary, where you hope to see yourself in 2 to 3 years from now. You will end nowhere without a goal, you must define your plan and determine how to accomplish the set goals. In all, career goal is based on your skills, interests, career possibilities and job trends.
You should do a research to find out which career jobs will be more in demand in the future. Research the leading business, financial and economic publications in prints and on the internet.
Consider government projections and forecast in several categories and percentage increase in jobs over a period of 10 years. Use these information to set career goals for yourself
