Urgent Vacancy exist in Prime & Hill Energy Services for the position of a LOSS PREVENTION/SAFETY ENGINEER
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain standards, procedures, philosophy and guidelines related to loss prevention engineering
Provide consultation and apply various loss prevention processes throughout conceptual studies, engineering design, construction and installation, production and facilities management. This is included but not limited to:
Study and evaluation of modifications
Assessment of the safety deviations
Assessment of the Downgraded Situations
Loss Prevention Report
Escape Evacuation Rescue layout
Dropped Object Assessment Report
Fire protection system
Material handling Report
HSE Constructability Standards and Specifications
Fire Fighting Equipment and system placements
Report on Tanks Spacing, Water Tanks and fire pumps
Design Checklist
Specification for Fire fighting Equipments
HAZOP & HAZID Reports
Safety Equipment Placements
Safety Design Basis
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or its equivalent
• Good understanding of the oil and gas facilities engineering.
• 7-10years experience as Loss Prevention Engineer.
• 7-10 years experience in onshore or offshore work.
• Have a comprehensive knowledge in loss prevention process, safety study and safety analysis techniques such as;
o Facilitate or lead HAZID, HAZOP
o Develop, implement and update Safety Case.
o Perform projects technical review and operation technical review
o Understand the incident/ accident investigation techniques.
• Good knowledge of industry Codes, Standards and legislation on SSHE aspect.
• Strong leadership skills and good communication skills
• Good command of spoken and written English
