A very nice initiative is what you have setup, you can add more value by adding map view where as a user can locate a business with the help of a map. good work.

Way back; we use to hear about business directories. The general perception about business directories was to find business information. Ideally their business addresses and at max their contact number. But Business directories are rarely used and never sounded to be more accurate. Currently business directories are getting replaced by so called "Local Search Engines". The obvious Question is what is local search engine? Is it like Google, Yahoo? The answer is of course No. These are major search engines whereas local search engines are specially focused to local market. Let's talk about Nigeria.
Majority of people search in Google or Yahoo, But they can only search for that information in these search engines only if the business have a web site and listed in search engine. But what about those small scale business that doesn’t have their own website or much money to market their business? That's where Local Search Engines plays more important Role.
There are many Local Search Engines sites in the world. In Nigeria the largest local search engine is VConnect. They have more than 200,000 businesses listed with them. The most unique thing about them is their tele search facility through which users can find any business information over the phone without additional charge. For example you can search for restaurants in Lagos through their web search and tele search, not only that you can search for any other similar information, be it company, product and services all you need to do is log on to www.vconnect.com or call 070 0000 8888 if you encounter any difficulty with the search
