The much awaited 2011 Presidential election may have come and gone, but d ripples of mutual suspicion between d ruling and opposition political parties before the exercise will live with us for a long time. My condolences to families of the victims of the very callous and carnivorous bigots who sought to undermine our fragile polity with their extremist-tendencies. It will be instructive however that those who have grievances should be encouraged by the voting public to seek redress in courts rather than calling them names; it may surprise us-all the outcomes of their expository presentations before the courts.
No candidate should be tolerated for violent disposition; perpetrators of the violent attacks should be brought to justice, no matter who is behind them.
