Members of the Northern Political Leaders Forum (NPLF) are planning their reaction, should former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar be disqualified from the presidential primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

NPLF member Tanko Yakassai has described the “plot” as “a futile exercise”.

A group called the PDP Stakeholders Forum had on December 17 petitioned the National Chairman of the PDP, Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo, on why Atiku should be disqualified.

Leaders of the North, who are shocked by the dimension the PDP primaries is taking, are not taking the “plot” lightly.
