I felt sorry for the Guineas for the double home goal but again with the exception of that i believe Super falcons would still lift the trophy.

It was a mystery yesterday at the African Women Championship final at Sinaba stadium, Daveyton, in South Africa, when the men-like Equatorial Guinea team scored four goals, two in favour of the Super falcons and two against the Super falcons of Nigeria. This unwarranted own goals did not help issues at the end of the day, as the falcons went away with the trophy.
At the beginning of the first half, the Super falcons went head to head with the Nzalang ladies, though they lost few opportunities. Perpetual Nkwocha netted the first goal to showcase her scoring prowess.  Thanks also to Ugochi Opananozie for her goal. It was dynamite. Since the Nzalang Nacionale has deemed it fit to help the Super falcons, our thanks also go to them.
Though the Super falcons  trounced Equatorial Guinea 4-2, one cannot but wonder what the Nzalang ladies were up to when they scored two own goals. After the first own goal, the second own goal came five minutes later. At this juncture, I wondered whether ‘Merlin’ was among the spectators performing his magical tricks on the Guinean team. It was indeed dramatic and mysterious. It has been said that what will be.
It was hard to convince my old man that the Equatorial Guinea team players were completely women and not men. He argued that the lady in jersey number 8,Salimanta Simpore, was a complete man. At this stage, I began to wonder if the supposed lady wasn’t really a man.
