Let me hope it is the end of it all and that should be a lesson to our football governing body to indeed go professional it we want to go any further.

Nigeria football fans can breathe a huge sign of relief after FIFA temporarily lifted the ban on the country, allowing their African Cup of Nations qualifier against Guinea to go ahead.

Nigeria fulfilled all the three conditions set by FIFA for the suspension to be swiftly reversed.
