Let them gang up. Those old tricks don't work anymore. One thing is very clear: PDP is about to deal itself the most fatal political blow. Let's get ready to say bye bye to rubbish!

As the countdown to the primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), enters its crucial stage, ex-President Ibrahim Babangida and three other presidential aspirants Friday raised an eight-man committee to present a common candidate among them for the 2011 poll.

The others are: ex-Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, a former National Security Adviser, Gen. Aliyu Gusau and Governor Bukola Saraki of Kwara State .

According to findings, the four aspirants reached a consensus after a six-hour meeting in Abuja. It was gathered that the meeting was the climax of about six sessions that the four aspirants have had in the last one week.
