THE ROLE
Accounting Representative role would require you to follow standard procedures, including a number of different rules and work methods relating to accounting functions. And using some judgment with regards to o the application of appropriate rules and regulations. You will also be required to complete tasks including closing or adjusting entries as instructed. The successful candidate will be performing clerical work related to an accounting, auditing or fiscal function requiring a knowledge of elementary bookkeeping practices and comprising such duties as recording, checking and accumulating statistics. Other clerical work such as sorting, typing and composing correspondence will also be expected of this role as well as performing accounting and administrative tasks and prepares all necessary reports to comply with local country accounting rules, laws and requirements
THE PERSON
If you are considering applying for this role you should have or be able to demonstrate:
-Evidence of higher education including courses in bookkeeping.
-Two and a half years of satisfactory working experience in an accounting-clerical capacity.
-Ability to work as an individual and within a team
-Good analytical and problem solving skills required as well as proficiency with PC applications including Excel and Word.
-Knowledge of Airline tickets, fare rules and construction would be beneficial.
-Full written and spoken fluency in local dialect and English is required.
-This job requires the successful candidate to work only 20 hours per week.
