I really do not care where the next President comes from provided he demonstrates clear understanding of the nation's problems and proffers workable solutions and I can tell from his antecedents in the past that he is a man of his words and has undying love and passion for fatherland. I will by all means vote for that man. If, however, the political parties carry out any manipulations in their primaries to shortchange eminently qualified candidates and they present to us political lepers of the ilk of the present man, I will by all means work against him and all his interests.

Already, this man who told the nation he would not contest in 2015 is exhibiting his usual about-turn mentality, persistently reneging and denying nearly all his promises and statements. He is not a man of honour.

Come to think of it, why are they even talking of succession now? This man hasn't even done anything and even his lieutenants and his most blinded paid sycophants online have begun to see his brazen failure written so legibly on the sands of time.

It would amount to grand scale political suicide for him to field himself as a contestant in 2015. That would be classical personally-induced collateral damage except he intends to convince Nigerians by black magic, egbesu and the National Association of Nigerian Witches some of whose members wear big crosses and crowns and perform miracles and bear high-sounding religious titles. Even that will not work again!

I wish Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala Godspeed today for the job she is eminently qualified for. But, I really wish she did not cast her pearls before a government of swines!

Post Merge: April 16, 2012, 10:51:55 AM
Why has it taken Okonjo-Iweala so long to say all that she is saying now? Is it because she just realized her serving in this fraudulent government is the greatest impediment to her clinching the World Bank top job? These things have been obvious and some people (I really do not know what planet they come from. They are certainly not human beings with brains) come online to talk balderdash!

Now, hear all that we have been saying since 2010 from the horse's mouth:

http://www.sunnewsonline.com/webpages/news/national/2012/apr/16/national-16-04-2012-002.html

My only grouse with this expose, however, is that she stopped short of telling Nigerians how the savings were squandered under the watch and supervision of Olusegun Aganga and Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.

Consequently, at no time in history did Prophet Mohammed urge his followers to hate the people of the Book (Christians). Instead, he encouraged them to live as one with them as well as with the Jews.

Prophet Mohammed believed in Jesus and never spoke against Him. In fact, one of the pillars of Islam is belief in the Prophets. If He believed in the Prophets from Abraham to Moses and down to Jesus, he believed in the mission and accomplishments of Jesus. He believed in all that the Scriptures said about Jesus.

Prophet Mohammed never discredited Jesus neither did he as any of his followers to do so.

Therefore, there was never a controversy between Jesus and Prophet Mohammed. Whatever controversy there ever was was a creation of the struggle for supremacy among the theological fatheads on both sides who introduced man made traditions and rituals and propagated uninspired doctrines which account for the differences for which they have gone to war with each other for centuries supposedly fighting for God who commands the hosts of heaven and needs no mere mortals who cannot even determine their fate to fight for him. These false doctrines borne out of the wickedness, greed, selfishness and the need to gain converts by compromising the Gospel are still extant in many churches and mosques today. We shall focus on some of these one of these days.

Unfortunately, their evil missions are helped by gullible followers who swallow whatever their religious leaders say hook, line and sinker and fail to study the Scriptures diligently so as to confirm what they have been told. These leaders consequently assume a larger than life image before their congregations and they arrogate to themselves the power of life and death and their word sacrosanct. They reinforce this with turbans and crowns and special regalia fashioned after the relics of pagan religions. We shall come to these aspects soon.

Good morning, fellow Nigerians. The task of salvaging our nation from the clutches of darkness is not an easy one, but we shall overcome by the power of the Most High God.

I have since discovered that truly, the battle is against the remnants of the children of Light and principalities and powers who fight dirty as their stranglehold on the nation is torn in pieces, fighting tooth and nail to hold on to the stolen territories. But, we have the complete suit of armour to enable us defeat the kingdom of darkness.

I know for certain I am stirring the Hornet’s nest and I expect that those who profit from this wickedness of this age and the spirit of error to fight or to appoint their disciples as proxies to fight for them and quoting the Scriptures upside down. We all know that satan even quoted the Scriptures to the second Adam, Jesus. He also quoted it to the first Adam through Eve. But he always misapplied it and the first Adam fell for it while the second Adam got him right in the head, bruising him. What we await is satan’s being crushed under his feet. The Apostle John, while on the Isle of Patmos where he received astounding revelations from God, did say that the devil is roaming about like a roaring lion, seeking for people to devour having been driven down from heaven. He is desperate and his followers are equally desperate to prevent the propagation of the Truth that sets men free.

Jesus established The True Church as the body of Christ who follow clearly laid down standards of living but he did not found Christianity. Those who were called Christians were only called so by those who saw them as reflecting the nature and glory of Jesus. Men founded Christianity with man made liturgy and rituals and high sounding titles and insignia and theology that give mere mortals fat heads and crass arrogance, satanic power over the flock but God founded The Church on Christ.

Unfortunately, the enemies of the Kingdom of Heaven came in and sowed wild oats and thorns and thistles while the Shepherds went to sleep. These men from the pits of hell have formed what looks like church but is not The Church of God by Jesus Christ.

I do not speak as Davincii but as one sent. I do not ask you to believe me either but to search the Scriptures to make sure of these things and to hold fast to what is right. God will redeem His Church.

In the Acts of the Apostles, at Pentecost 33CE, when the Holy Spirit came down on 120 disciples at the Upper Chambers of the temple, the Apostle Peter reminded the crowd that had gathered that God had promised to pour His Spirit upon all flesh. Note, all flesh! That includes people from all parts of the world – the entire world. Consequently, there were many who did not walk with Jesus nor did they even know Jesus but they kept to the way and the laws of God and they were counted as righteous and all their family members were devoted to God. An example was Cornelius whom God sent Peter who had resisted initially and God told him nothing was unclean under the new arrangement. Please, note that Cornelius was not a Christian when Peter was sent to him. But he worshipped God with his entire household but not according to accurate knowledge. God does the conversion and it is never by the mighty hand of some preacher. Even the Apostles were shocked when God poured the Holy Spirit upon the household of Cornelius. This same big headedness that frustrates the propagation of the Gospel of Truth is what religious leaders are exhibiting today, very much like the Pharisees who introduced man made doctrines from poor interpretation of the Scriptures and from fighting over spiritual gifts that will pass away, all at the expense of the essence of the Gospel: to love the Lord thy God with all thy might and thy strength and thy spirit and then to love thy neighbour as thyself. That is the Gospel of Truth that Jesus propagated. Today, it’s all war over whether Jesus died on a tree or cross or a log of wood and high sounding theological postulations over whether God is a trinity or not and churches are established on tribal sentiments, watered down Gospel, spiritual gifts both legitimate and satanic and power tussle and petty jealousy among brethren and fight over control of Church funds and other resources and to profit from the miseries and pains of the congregations – all ephemeral and mundane things other than the Gospel of Christ.

Coincidentally, they, like the Sadducees and Pharisees grew fat heads and saw themselves as the only eligible persons for salvation and the only ones who were called. They felt complacent and had failed to act in line with Jesus’ injunction that they would be witnesses of Him in all the earth.

Among all the earth are Igbos, Yorubas, Hausas, Egyptians, Americans, Indians, Tutsis, Hutus, Arabs and so on and so forth. The Spirit of God searches for deserving ones who apply the standards laid out in the law, the prescribed way of living and puts His Spirit upon them. Hence, there was Joseph of Arimathea who was not with the Apostles and neither did he identify with Jesus’ disciples but got the privilege of being the one who buried Jesus in a freshly hewn out tomb he bought with his money. None of the declared followers of Jesus had the privilege.

Jesus came to fulfill the law and never condemned the law. But he abolished the law of sin and death and provided a better propitiatory sacrifice than the blood of rams and goats. But, that did not make the law bad as all the provisions of the law were of God. God does not change and all those who subscribe to the law, though under grace, are His people. If Jesus condemned the law why then is it still a sin to covet another man’s wife? Why then is it still a sin to kill? Why then is it still a sin to steal? Jesus reinforced the law instead and even expanded its application. For example, Jesus expatiated further on the sin of covetousness when he said that if you looked at a woman lustfully, you have committed fornication or adultery, a sin many so-called Christians are guilty of even in church services and grand ceremonies and shows where God is not present but the spirit of error.

Funny enough, while they boastfully tell you we are not under the law, they institute tithes and offerings every Sunday quoting copiously from the Book of The Law to justify fleecing the flock with all manner of evil. It is convenient not to abolish that aspect of the law, I guess!

The Prophet Mohammed founded Islam on the law. He also believed in Jesus, though as one of the Prophets. The tenets of Islam are founded on the laws of God as handed down to Moses. The Prophet Mohammed knew also that the laws were a pointer to Jesus. Hence, he encouraged Muslims to have cordial relationship with the people of the Book (The Bible). That he read the Bible is also evident in his reference to the Comforter whom Jesus said would come after Him. That is a subject for another day. If Mohammed believed in the law and founded Islam on the law, then he is a child of God no matter what anybody says. In accordance with the law, he denounced idol worship and false doctrines that gave rise to false religious practices at the time. Why then do some Muslims fight against Christians?

The reason is not far-fetched. They do not follow the teachings of Prophet Mohammed and instead lean on interpretations of Islamic Scholars who have fallen from the way and spread error instead. They, along with their big headed counterparts in Christendom who have perpetrated so many evils in the name of Christ, have handed down the traditions, pride and wickedness of the Pharisees and Sadducees from generation to generation. There have even been attempts to prevent access to the Bible at one time by the fake Church (certainly not the Church of God) whose priests only could have access to the Bible and the laity were forbidden and the truth of God’s word hidden. In fact, if any member of the laity was found with a Bible at that time (the dark ages of Christianity after the last Apostle died) he/she would be branded a wizard or witch and the Bible would be tied to the person’s neck and both person and Bible would be set ablaze and left to die. Those who translated the Bible from dead Latin language to the language of the common man were persecuted by the false Church and killed by them. Willian Tyndale, Rev. Martin Luther (not Martin Luther King), John Knox, John Wycliffe and so many more were victims of this wickedness. Though Martin Luther was protected by his cousin who was a King, the church even went as far as exhuming his bones long after he was dead and buried and burnt them, supposedly condemning him to hell. Today, we know better. Same way also, while the politicians from Europe stole the wealth of Africa and many new lands, they worked hand in gloves with the false Church to enslave Africans the more. While they preached submission to the authorities and made the slaves recite the Paternoster (the Lord’s Prayer) they teamed up with slave drivers to fleece the people.

History is replete with the crimes of the false church founded on error and not the Word of God. Similarly, today, the false church encourages all kinds of licentious living and false standards all to have members for fat tithes and offerings. God is even presented as a beggar who inspires programmes to make the poor more miserable and who would accept stolen money and money gained from blood shed and from thieving politicians and prostitutes as sweet offering.

The standards of the Scriptures to rebuke and remove the wicked man from among the brethren have been thrown to the winds and just anyone and anything can become an elder if you have the money and even satan gets a front seat and mounts the pulpit to give testimonies. Services are more of fanfare and dancing competitions and people always jump with one leg every service in the name of performing miracles. The pulpit has become a centre of showmanship where a maniac thrills his audience with ecstatic displays. The Scriptures are clear. The Spirit of the Prophet is subject to the Prophet. Where did those ecstatic displays come from?

Judge what I say by the Scriptures. If I have lied, crucify me and let the Muslim who is daring declare a Fatwah on me. But if I have spoken the truth, then there is need for repentance and to return to the way of Truth. That is the only way to eternal life!

Let God be glorified!

Emphasizing what Jesus said about love as the defining point of the entire Gospel, the Apostle Paul, in his letter to the Corinthians stated clearly that whether there are gifts of prophecy or speaking in tongues and so on and so forth, without love, they are useless. Our calling is not to speak in tongues and to engage in useless and unprofitable debates about the Trinity and whether Jesus died on a tree or a cross and organizing shows with paparazzi to perform miracles and to open tithe (revenue) collection centers in every nook and cranny of the world, but to beam the love of God to all men by reflecting the image and personality of Jesus: Love.

Out of love and empathy, Jesus and his Apostles went round about the cities and nations preaching the Gospel and healing the sick and ministering to the needs of the people and they never exacted undue influence on them neither did they come up with all kinds of schemes to cheat them and to fleece them of every dime they had through all kinds of manipulative weekly programmes.

Recall that Jesus said we would be witnesses in Judea and in Samaria and in all the earth and that we would do greater works than he did. How come no one is able to raise the dead or to open the eyes of the blind or to restore hearing and speech to the deaf and dumb and instead, we are increasing in criminality and fraudulent and manipulative schemes to milk the sheep of His pasturage?

This is a clear sign that the counterfeit and impostors run the Church and God has left them long ago. Anyone can perform miracles in Jesus' name and it is the calling of every child of God and not the exclusive preserve of spiritual magicians and mega-ministers who have turned attention from the superstar: Jesus to their rotten selves and walk about with stupid pride wearing fat rings and hand chains and big crosses on their necks. If performing miracles was the sure sign one is called to minister, why then did Jesus say in Matthew that in the last days, many will come to him and say, "Lord, Lord, did I not perform wonders in your name?" and yet He would say to them, "Get away from me, you workers of iniquity! I do not know you!"

A word is a enough for the wise. Stop selling your birthrights to liars and thieves and maggots masquerading as ministers. You must know the truth and that is what will set you free.

Let God be found true and every man a liar!

Shallom! Assalam Alaykum!

More lies from the security agents about Boko Haram.

This is culled from Premium Times

The national leader of the extremist Boko Haram sect, Abubakar Shekau, has narrowly escaped arrest in Kano when a joint security team stormed an apartment in the Naibawa Darnamawa area of the city, where he had for long been hiding.

Mr. Shekau, multiple security sources told Premium Times, had rented the apartment in the name of one of his lieutenants, Mohammed Aliyu (alias Hamza), but lived there with his family.

But sometimes in mid December 2011,  a combined team of the State Security Service, the Nigerian Army, and the Police stormed the apartment after the SSS had placed it under 24 hour surveillance for several days.

Mr. Shekau, our sources who were part of the operation said, was almost captured when fully armed members of the sect launched a vicious attack on the security team, gunning down three police officers on the spot.

While the exchange of fire between the security team and the insurgents lasted, a Golf car with registration number, AE 913 TBW, zoomed into the compound.

In a jiffy, Mr. Shekau and his family members were rushed into the car and chauffeured off. As soon as the car sped off, the sect members, who engaged the security team, withdrew and fled in different directions.

One sect member was killed in the operation, two escaped with bullet injuries while one Suleiman Gambo (alias Babangida) was arrested.

A search on the apartment yielded what our sources describe as a suicide vehicle loaded with bomb.

The Golf car used in ferrying Mr. Shekau away was later recovered from Mr. Gambo’s apartment in Sokoto.

On December 23, the team traced the Boko Haram leader to a house at Mando area of Kaduna, and to another apartment at Badarawa area of the city.

The house at Badarawa was put under surveillance by the SSS before the joint security team stormed it in full force on December 26.

However, the team found no one in the apartment as Mr. Shekau was believed to have left the house two days earlier, suggesting that he  got intelligence he was  being trailed.

A search conducted on the apartment led to the recovery of large quantity of GSM recharge/sim cards, face masks, vital bank documents and suicide bombers’ notes.

Mr. Shekau’s location has remained unknown since he narrowly escaped arrest in Kano, and then Kaduna.

Security sources believe he had since moved across the border and now keeps moving between Niger, Chad and Cameroon where he issues instructions to his members to wreck havoc on security installations places of worship and innocent citizens.

Top security officials contacted Friday were reluctant to comment for this story.

“Investigation into this matter is on, and we don’t want to say anything that will jeorpardise efforts being made to track the Boko Haram leader down,” one official said.

Lie, lie people dem! Why did they not go after the Golf car? He was under surveillance yet he escaped again. The security agents are fools churning out pathological lies. Did these same security agents not tell us Shekau died in the insurgency in 2010? When did he resurrect again? They should tell their Cock and Bull stories to little children.

Their stories don't always add up. There are always too many holes. In this story, they simply made a fool of themselves as being grossly incompetent.

Who on earth really needs Obasabnjo's mentoring? Do you really need mentoring from a man who sleeps with his son's wife? That would be dirty mentoring!

He is bowing out in anticipation of being disgraced as BOT Chairman of the PDP. But I still give it to him, with the benefit of hindsight, he was a better President. I really do not know what to call what we have now.

What do we have now for Police men? Models?

Those guys standing right in front of Force Headquarters, Abuja seem like mannequins. Haba! What happened to plain clothes detectives? They would be more effective than these new age mannequins.

I thought the surprise element was key to tackling the enemy? Even the Acting IG has become a fashion model for the new police uniform. He seems to be enjoying life to the full rather than doing actual policing work.

The comic characters posted to man the Catholic Church that was blown up at Madala by Boko Haram is also a cause for concern.

Do you know it takes just an inexperienced lunatic with a gun on  top speed to bring down all those morons in a drive-by shooting?

Problems are part of everyday living. For some, the problem is what to eat. For others who have what to eat, the problem is just what to eat. Yet for some, the problem is sickness, lack of a decent means of eking out a living or even a lack of such means at all.

Everybody has one problem or the other to tackle and the real difference lies in the response to problems when they arise.

Some oscillate between two extremes: resigning to fate and throwing up the towel and contemplating and actually committing suicide. That is one extreme. Yet others take problems in their strides and work hard at solving them. That is the other extreme. In between, there are some who have decided there is nothing they could ever do about the problems especially when they appear thorny and so they must live with it all their lives like they were victims of some fate and that that's how God meant it to be.

On what part of the two extremes or in between do you belong?

Someone once said that Segun Edward II does not have any problem. That is a lie! But, Segun Edward II does not see problems the way others see them but as happenings in one's life requiring solutions, no matter how thorny they are. Rather than whine and cry and seek sympathy from people, he sets out to tackle the issues head on. He assesses himself and his habits and lifestyle thoroughly and researches into the problem to see if they have any bearing with the problem. He asks himself piercing questions and strips himself bare and frankly and even chides himself if his actions actually are the root causes of his problem. In some instances, he finds that his association with certain people are the root causes of the problem. So he takes steps to limit his association and the problem is gone. In some instances too, he finds that his problem may be a function of disobedience and he takes immediate steps to do what is right and just. Yet again, in some instances, he may need to rework his lifestyle prayerfully to see weaknesses he had not noticed and work hard to overcome them. Segun Edward II never laments over his problems but sees solutions and so he always smiles. He believes every problem has solutions and that people who cry over problems cannot see solutions even when such solutions are easily within reach and stare them in the face.

Tear-blurred eyes don't see solutions! Only clear heads see solutions!

Obasanjo, as rich as he is, has problems. At least, we know he has to live with guilt for the rest of his life for monies he stole while in government. We all know how much he was worth before he became President in his last outing.

Yar'Adua was rich by all standards and had the entire wealth of the nation at his behest yet his problem was ill-health that defied all solutions.

Stella Obasanjo had all the trappings of wealth yet her problem was to keep from being old and staying beautiful so she died from a tummy-tuck surgery.

Bill Gates has been the richest man in the world by vision and one of the most influential men in human history and yet he could not complete his university education. However, he did not allow that limit his vision in anyway and he converted the problem to resounding successes.

Onasis, the Greek Merchant was the richest man in the world at one time but he was unhappy and even all the most beautiful women in the world were not enough to give him lasting peace.

I can go on and on.

That reminds me, who told you rich men don't have problems? Recently, Dangote's firm (though he is one of the richest men in the world) was listed as debtor in a list of debtors to some financial institutions. Many rich politicians have committed suicide overnight having lost out in elections for which they borrowed so much money.

Learn to handle your problems rightly and don't go announcing it to everyone you see. Seek sane and responsible minds to share them with and get sound advice if you can't handle them alone.

In the end, the true solutions lie in the decisions you take and the actual choices you make.

If you can't be honest to anyone, you should, at least, be honest with yourself.

"Look inside yourself. Then you'll finally see the truth that the hero lies in you!" - Mariah Carey.

God has given you all you need to overcome: His Word, His Spirit, Myriads of witnesses  to His greatness and saving grace and Wisdom to excel.

Sometimes, the real problem might just be that you neglect all these ample tools for victory and choose instead to follow the bandwagon in pursuing vanity and absolute stupidity and satanic solutions requiring you to bathe in stinking stagnant rivers, to swallow puerile concoctions, to drink human blood and to sacrifice human life. You only add to your woes that way!

Be wise! The days are wicked!

Fear God and give Him glory!

That is the only winning way!

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is corruption personified. A man who cannot confirm to the public the source of his sudden wealth (by dubious means) since his days as Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State does not have what it takes to fight corruption.

It was obvious right from day one, even long before his second attempt at the Presidency.

I really do not know how you all are expecting anyone would be convicted for such crimes. Not even the Pension Fraudsters will go to jail.

You cannot give what you do not have. Filth will always produce filth. Our expectations of what is right and just from this government is misplaced.

Where are those Pastors and Imams who sold this nation to the Devil and teamed up with the National Association of Nigerian Witches in an unprecedented show of camaraderie to install mad men as rulers over our land?

Go bury your heads in shame, Ayo Oritsejafor, Enoch Adeboye, Chris Oyakhilome and the rest!

Why do you wonder why those arraigned in court for corruption go free all the time since the advent of President GEJ? Do you think the lawyers are so daft? I guess the plan is just to create an impression of working and in the end, the Prosecution Lawyers only present a facade of doing the right thing while they water-down evidences that are sufficient to bring the culprits to book.

That is what is going on. Besides, the Presidency always interferes. Try and have a one on one with any EFCC operative at the headquarters and you will be shocked at how much the Presidency and the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation wade into these things. Besides, the AG feeds fat from contracts to SANS to prosecute these mock trials at the expense of the nation.

"The forebears of the present generations of Zondans had adopted a lukewarm attitude to happenings in the polity and in the economy and considered all that had happened to be acts of God and that there was nothing they could do but be submissive to even oppressive regimes, as they had supposedly been ordained by God.

"They watched the economy mismanaged and the commonwealth plundered mindlessly and they somehow found consolation in the words, ‘God knows why.’ They looked on when vagabonds fought their way into power and made a mess of everything, leaving the economy gasping for breath and writhing in death throes."

Excerpt from Chapter One of the novel, HISSING WAVES by Segun Edward II

Why don't we give this a shot in 2015? Let the contest for the Presidency be open and let the right person have it.

I think we have toyed with our fortunes as a nation for too long. No part of the country has monopoly of power or of knowledge to rule. Let all the candidates come forth and demonstrate capacity to deliver on all fronts. Or shall we be swayed by stupid sentiments again? If we would, then we have not learned anything from our past and most recent harrowing experience. I really do not think we can afford to put up with this kind of mess for another 4 years from 2015.

In this regard, we must shut those who bring in tribal sentiments up and confine them to just where they truly belong: the dustbin of history!

Instead of the Central Bank to finance SMEs (it is not its constitutional or legal role), genuine and well-thought-out measures should be put in place to ensure the emergence of a strong and virile venture capitalist institution with the clout to take on meaningful projects and to finance new innovations with government as guarantor. Venture capitalists are investors or part investors in budding enterprises and they usually recoup their investments with some interests at the exit or terminal point. They have the muscle to pool resources from various financial institutions by way of syndicated funds for projects. It is equally critical that for this to work, our laws must also work and those who abuse the processes must be brought to book and the monies recovered. It should also be possible to seamlessly trace defaulters who may be on the run after systematically draining the resources at their behest fraudulently.

I think the real problem is government's inability to come up with purposeful vision to drive things across sectors. I really do think that there is urgent need to come up with long term development plans. What we have currently is haphazard and there is a clash between our fiscal and monetary policies. Nothing meaningful can be done this way. When government comes up with vision to move the nation in a certain direction economically, then we will begin to see industries revived and new innovations emerge. Unfortunately, this is not even in the pipeline yet.

Proud and arrogant people don't see opportunities and even when they do see golden opportunities, they are not in the right frame of mind to exploit it. They live on past glory and bask in what they had done and are not open to new ideas.

If your life is so rigid that you cannot adapt to the demands of the present so long as that adjustment is within the dictates of the laws of the land and all you do instead is replay some broken record to whoever cares to listen about what you were and what you had done, you are going to end up a disgrace and a psychological recluse.

This is the reason many suffer today. Stupid pride. Yes, you may have been so and so in the past, but you need to get rid of your pride to adapt to new roles and to learn new skills to put food on your table and to keep good clothes on your body.

Be amenable to necessary change!

So Qaqa's father was murdered? Thought he was one of them. Lol

This absurd comedy is quite interesting but nauseating.

Why are Nigerians upset about the NECO and WAEC results of recent? We have become something else in this nation. Now, there's no shame in being stupid and idiotic. Children don't read anymore and parents are competing with each other to acquire 'expo' and to hire 'mercenaries' to write exams for their children. Teachers also don't teach anymore and they have turned the laboratories into centers for sex orgies with little girls whom they ought to nurture. Pot-bellied idiots are parking their cars at the vicinity of schools to pick up the little girls who have just closed from school and mummy and aunties encourage all that trash!

What time do they have to study anymore? And the parents? They are out there pursuing vanities and money they never get. No time to supervise their children's academic work anymore. Many go to expensive private schools where the school authorities connive with parents to acquire 'expo' in advance so their schools can be rated high. Same thing obtains now with ICAN coaching classes owned by ICAN examiners.

That is how a Jonathan with a doctorate degree without intelligence was produced. That is how a Dame with a degree in Psychology/Mathematics was produced and she cannot express herself in correct English. she can't even speak pidgin fluently and yet she took her exams in English Language. How did she pass?

I was having a discussion with a young pretty lady just the day before yesterday. she is a graduate and yet she does not know the difference between past tense and present tense when she converses. Her spoken English was headache inducing excessively. I really don't know how I survived the conversation with my brain intact.

She was so proud to tell me, while laughing gleefully (when she ought to bury her head in shame) how she made her WAEC papers. She said the principal of the school had been properly 'settled' and would come to the window close to which a seat was arranged for her and take her answer sheets and replace it with one with correct answers that had been written right inside her office.

I felt like puking. I felt so disgusted. She instantly looked very ugly to me. Boy, was she so irritating!

There truly is fire on the mountain. Surprisingly, no one is running. Asa is right. Can you imagine if this girl handles the economy tomorrow? They are always so highly connected and they know every trick under the sun, including selling their souls to Satan to get juicy positions. that is the present dilema and the biggest problem at the heart of corruption in this country.

As Christians, we are expected to reflect the image and personality of Christ in us. However, we are not expected to be foolish, idiots, gullible, simpletons, myopic, dumb, dirty, acquiescent to filth and rot, condescending to the ways of th world, compromising God's standards so as to win souls, lazy and stupid, 'siddon look' and be oppressed, whine and cry when you have the power of the Word to overcome, to accept wrong as right because the world thinks that is how it should be and to choose to be stupid because the whole world thinks it is fashionable to be stupid - afterall everybody is doing it. We are also not expected to worship or honour prophets who speak from their bellies and for want of what to eat and drink and wear.

Coincidentally, this is what agents of Satan want us to do. But dem don miss road. When they accuse you without substance, just move on. They are on their father's mission who constantly accuses the brethren.

Do not be moved by the speeches of maggots. Keep your eyes on the prize. All they want is to get you to be as disgusting as they are and to embrace filth just as they have compromised their consciences and sold it to the devil for mundane gains.

Remember, even satan quotes the Bible but he cannot move mountains. When you do, because you are in God, the heavens tremble and the earth flees and the hordes of satan and shakened terribly.

that is the difference between us and them. Never sell your birth right for the nauseous puddings of swines. Don't even touch it!

If you are standing, please do not fall. There are too many people, even self-made enemies for no particular fault of yours, waiting to clink glasses in celebration of your fall.

If you do not walk circumspectly, you could be consumed, destroyed and debased for even the most insignificant mistake. To whom much is given, much is expected.

These days, people buy the dailies just to read ear-tickling sensational news and libellous feature pieces about celebrities. There are actually people waiting to console themselves for their inadequacies with news about your fall.

You cannot afford to fail!

Let nothing - absolutely nothing stand in between you and success in all its ramifications.

I really do not think that the bickering about dogma and doctrines among various religious groups and even within the groups, which factor has led to the emergence of various sects, apart from personal greed and gift-centered jealousy, are necessary. It is amazing that many internecine wars have been fought and many faithfuls decimated in the process because of semantics and personal interpretations of the WORD of God.

I do not see any where in the Scriptures that suggests we should fight for God. We are only His army in the task of destroying the foundations of ignorance and to shed his light and love abroad for all to see and benefit from.

I have concluded from my study of the Bible and the Qur'an that only infidels would kill a Muslim or Christian or Jew all in the name of religious differences they created artificially by their private interpretations - a clear deviation from what the WORD says.

Thank God Pope John Paul humbled himself and apologized for the sins of the Catholic Church over many centuries including the Catholic Inquisitions and Crusades that led to the death of many who could have been brought to Christ.  Another critical instance is the tacit support the Catholic Church gave to Adolf Hitler, through the Financial Secretary of the Vatican, Von Papen, for the persecution of the Jews and that led to the decimation of 6 million Jews in a gas chamber after which their skins were used to make hides and soap.

Similarly, the infidels in Islam who claim to believe in the Holy Prophets but neglect to follow the teachings of Anabi Isa (Jesus) whose words the the Prophet Mohammed urged them to obey and go about killing and maiming in the name of religion ought to repent and apologize to humanity and recant their evil oaths to shed blood in submission to God's will.

If you kill a Jew or a Christian and a Muslim or any other human being whose life God values that He made several arrangements to redeem them, you are a hypocrite and a swine! You must repent of this evil. God will fight His battles Himself and He defends His own! Who the hell do you think you are to fight for Him? He commands the hosts of heaven and all the elements obey him. He could ask them to do battle for Him. So, don't go shedding innocent blood  because you think you are doing God some filthy favour. You will only end up rotting in hell that way.

If you love God, you will follow His lead and let Him fight your battles. Remember, he who lives by the sword will perish by the sword.

If you go on a killing spree in the name of God, you are not on God's mission. You are on a personal mission based on ignorance and self-deceit. Take it or leave it!

Any Pastor or Imam or Priest who urges you to do so is a bastard and God does not know him!  Flee from Him!

Love never goes sour. Hell no! Every new experience, be it tempestuous or benign only reinforces the bond founded on mutual respect  and the fear of God.

If it ever goes sour, it is not love but rancorous lust disguised as love. It has no real foundations and whatever is built on it must collapse.

Do you teach your children to tell lies? Much as they would not want to admit it, many parents do and that's really bad.

When you teach children to lie, because it's not in them to lie in their innocence, they would expose you instead.

Let me give you two examples.

A man owes somebody some money and when the creditor comes for his money on the scheduled date, he tells his son to lie to the creditor he was not a home. Here's the conversation that ensued:

Creditor: Hello! Anybody home?

Little Boy: Heyo! Daddy said I should tell you he is not at home.

Sounds funny right? But, it ain't funny. Grooming children to tell lies is a wicked thing to do and you destroy their innocence that way.

Here's another scenario.

A man lives with his wife and 3 children in a single room apartment. The living area is separated from the bed corner reserved for mummy and daddy alone by a curtain.

Daddy tells son to tell the creditor he's not at home while he hides behind the curtain divider.

This conversation ensues:

Creditor: Na who de house?

Son: Nobody dey. My papa don comot.

Meanwhile, the creditor had seen the fathers legs showing beneath the curtain as he had forgotten the cotton did not go all the way down. The conversation continues:

Creditor: Ehen! Oya, tell ya papa say next time e dey go out make im no forget im legs behind curtain o! Ol' boy, make you come out nanana come pay me my money or all your neighbours go gather here today o!

Please, let the innocent kids be and stop sowing the seed of destruction and devilish lies into their lives!

Nigerians, please  be careful! Instead of government to take concrete and sure steps to provide enabling environment for true and rapid economic development, there is evidence that they have gone into an arrangement with some fraudsters who tout themselves as intelligent people with fraudulent empowerment schemes that are bound to bring pains and suffering eventually to unwary micro-investors who are bound to suffer huge losses in a short while.

We have seen these schemes fail too money times as they all turned out to be monumental scams perpetrated by financial fraudsters who capitalize on the helplessness of many a Nigerian out there to rip them off of minute contributions in return for magical gains (too good to be true and mouth watering) while they make stupendous gains from contributions of many.

I understand the so-called employment scheme has the support of Mr. President. The scheme is presented as an intelligent solution run by one Maxwell who tells blatant lies about his being the inventor of some 'talentometer' - some supposed means of determining a person's talents.

The manual is written in very poor English and the content lacks substance but is full of gibberish.

Many Nigerians are falling for this scam already as they are made to believe that by paying just N5,500 as an ordinary school certificate holder, you would get =N=75k at the end of the month. If you paid =N=45k, you would be given =N=1m at the end of the month.

It is painful that the Presidency would give its nod to such a fraudulent scheme in the name of providing employment opportunities.

The proprietor of the firm even makes irrelevant reference to the Japanese experience which has absolutely no bearing with this scheme to justify the scheme and to make the content of the manual appear rich.

I think the security agencies should pick up this Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma graduate before things get out of hand and many defrauded Nigerians would begin to commit suicide as in the case of the former Forum Finance boss and Umana Umana scheme and share certificate scams in Ibadan and some places in recent years.

If the Presidency is truly not involved in this scheme, it should make a public statement to that effect promptly and get this dumb fraudster arrested now. Already, there are long queues at his operational premises in Area 3, Garki, Abuja FCT.

A stitch in time saves 9!

I read this story with a lot of pain and anger. Why do ill--bred animals always try to sit on good things that they personally have no capacity to do themselves? If a Nigerian comes up with a good idea, he should be encouraged and not frustrated. I know of a guy in Yandev who did all he could to turn Benue State into an exporter of fruits juices but all his efforts were frustrated out of petty jealousy by politicians who steal all the money but are bereft of ideas to invest in meaningfully.

In this case, Nigerians suffer from a dearth of medical equipment to treat critical ailments. This Nigerian, with the help of his foreign lecturer, procured very expensive equipment meant to save many Nigerians from curable diseases relating to the spinal cord and some big fool at the Customs sits on the consignment that ought to have been brought in duty free since last year, even after due duties had been paid on the consignment.

Some cursed animal at the Nigerian Customs Service causes the death of many who could have been saved through this equipment all because he wants to be bribed. For God's sake, this equipment was donated free for the benefit of Nigerians. It was more of a humanitarian gesture.

Why do we keep on making a fool of ourselves in this country with such an idiotic government with idiotic heads of agencies and parastatals who respond in idiotic ways to issues that are critical to development of the nation and that have direct bearing on improving the lives of Nigerians who they claim to serve?

The leadership of the Customs Service must take immediate steps to release these items and the big fool,  the so-called O/C (Officer in Charge) Custom Services Mr Wakama GAP who has chosen to be a disgrace to his progeny must be called to order and summarily dismissed for acts of corruption except the leadership of the Customs Service are also deeply involved in these kind of irresponsible and untoward acts that demean the image of the Customs and Nigeria as a whole.

For God's sake, what impression are we giving the international donors who put together the money to purchase the equipment in question? Who even knows if that greedy pig, Mr Wakama GAP has not even begun to vandalize the equipment?

I find it rather intriguing to note how some persons connected to the Boko Haram brouhaha are trying so hard to rewrite even our recent history to which we are all living witnesses, telling us in such appalling language that Boko Haram was formed by some school boys from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi and some others. This is not only sickening but pathetic.

If the FG is looking for an easy exit route, they should say so. We don't need anymore of these lies. What lies have we not been told on this vexatious issue? Where did they get the money from as students to pay suicide bombers as much as =N=5m? What about the so-called top politicians the SSS claim they have leads to as sponsors and those who Mr. President claims he knows?

I think these guys should stop trying to make lies look truthful. They could never be.  I think the FG should quit this nonsense and stop killing innocent Nigerians!

Those non-Northerners, some of who live around Suleija area, what meetings were they holding with Oronto Douglas and his boys at night in 2010 in Nicon Hilton where he lodges before the December 31, 2010 bomb blasts?

Why was one of them talking about learning how to make bombs?

Was that the new means of getting rich quick for the boys and their friends?

Post Merge: March 20, 2012, 08:53:39 PM
Obioma, have you been reading the dailies? Did you see one of the lead stories in the Daily Sun by one of the so-called committee members set up by the FG supposedly to dialogue with Boko Haram? It is not an allegation, it is in the dailies? Or did the President not say he knew the sponsors? Did the SSS not also say they had strong leads to some top politicians? So, what have I alleged? Besides, are you not aware of all the lies we've been told for more than 2 years now on this same issue? As for the meeting with Oronto Douglas and the one who said he wanted to learn to make bombs, I have my facts.

Please, don't tell me you are not aware that the masterminds of the October 1, 2010 bomb blasts named Tony Uranta, Mr. President's close aide!

Is it not surprising to my fellow compatriots that Mr. President had been claiming he knew the culprits since 2010 and he has failed to name them but instead protects them and leaves Nigerians at their mercy to be killed wantonly? Does the fact that he knew yet failed to invoke the powers invested in his office to bring them to book but instead seeks to hold some supposed dialogue with the killers at the expense of thousands of Nigerians who have been killed, crippled and maimed, after which the murderers will now be compensated on a monthly basis with money from the national cash till for a job well done, not tell us volumes? What is wrong with this nation? Or are Nigerians under some spell?

If the School to Farm project will not turn out to be another hoax like the SURE and Power Road Map documents, then we are truly getting set for an agricultural revolution. However, with the gaping hole that is so obvious in the plan that leaves out the role of venture capital, the plan is bound to hit the rocks and will be unsustainable like every other Nigerians project, laudable on paper but grossly irrelevant to the needs of Nigerians and the natural consequence will be that it would be used as a conduit pipe to loot the treasury again.

Again, the FG has failed to think this through!

Another alleged Boko Haram kingpin dies in custody. Another 'Abu', said to be the mastermind behind the kidnapping of two foreigners supposedly dies of gunshot wounds.

Abdul Qaqa tells only fairy tales. Kabiru Sokoto whose re-arrest was hailed as some great effort also churns out fables. No mention of sponsors. Another key operative who should have been preserved at all costs dies in custody.

Nigerians! Nigerians!! Nigerians!!! You are on your own o! When will you open your eyes and see through this?

Have you noticed that there is war within this war?

Is it a coincidence that the SSS decided to parade the suspects after so many days of arrest just as the man dies?

Who has cast this spell of ignorance on this blessed people called Nigerians?

Building villas alone around the borders is not the solution to effective border patrol. Build the villas and give the operatives UAVs and inter-linked command ground stations to monitor vast areas seamlessly. Send men of integrity who won't go there and do brisk business that would worsen the situation and who would be at their duty posts. Give them special hazard allowances and insure their lives.

I think our ministers should go and take some courses in the role of technology in modern day administration. That way, they can see the light and stop thinking in a backward way. You make money from building border villas and at the end of the day, it is useless like nothing had been done at all.

Those who frittered away all the monies belonging to the states (including loans they collected in the name of the state to finance their individual fancies that reek of excessive greed) are still very much alive. Go after them and stop telling us about bankruptcy! Unfortunately, the hands of this government are tied as they have bitten deeply into the pie of corruption within such a short time - the only legacy this government has to give us.

Having made a mess of everything and liquidated the very account with ample evidence and traces of their thieving prowess, replacing it with an already moribund Sovereign Wealth Fund, they believe they have wiped off all trails and have the guts to invite the World Bank to come Vet contract awards. They are also preparing an alibi to go borrowing even further.

Pathetic idiots!
