President Goodluck Jonathan has performed well so far.  Prices of Petroleum products have been relatively stable since he came on board.  I hear that Fertilizers and other agricultural inputs were sent to farmers expeditiously.  PHCN has improved here in Enugu.  Water is State problem (should now be Federal - with the close proximity of the endtime rogue planet!), so don't score him on this count, yet.  Prof. Dora Akunyili has taken her rebranding gospel to the University VCs so we expect many forms of armlock on parents to ease, which will in turn minimize student restiveness, etc.  The issue of Crime is tied to job creation and social security so this is medium to long term, and is being tackled at both state and federal levels, as far as I can see.  Ministers are being shuffled or moved to achieve the best possible picture, although GEJ is practicing intricate national balancing acts that is difficult for the hoi polloi to understand.  The financial sector is undergoing panelbeating with AMCON in position and the difficult interior redecoration of the Stock Exchange is in progress.

Majority of Nigerians agree that Jega is good for INEC and the NASS agreed that he will be mobilized shortly.  National Award criticism appears to be in order but we know that GEJ did not prepare that list; hence he thought it wise to compromise.  Many want President Goodluck Jonathan to engage the hyperdrive of the Nigerian mothership, but they are ignorant of the overall mechanics for takeoff and safe navigation.  Corruption is an evil tumor requiring careful surgery, so don't rock the boat; stabilize first, then tackle it in the second term - Oops!  Or what do you think?

Many people think that it is easy to be a President.  You cannot run the presidency alone.  You need people, and because of federal character and other unique Nigerian political patents, it is not easy to choose only people whose orientation is to serve others.  Most "big men" take spiritual insurance from either holy or evil spirits, but we know that the Devil is very active in Nigeria and his job is to promote bad people and eliminate good people.  Therefore, to avoid distraction from bad guys, President Goodluck Jonathan should shine his presidential eyes and maintain a visual acuity of 20/20 and not 20/11.  Overall, I score GEJ above average so far.
