I am so impressed with the present NASS especially the House of Representatives. With shining lights like Rt. Hon. Farouk Lawan, Hon. Jeb (Barrister) from Benue State - this guy is such a transparent and forthright but quiet person and a couple of others, I see hope for Nigeria. The wicked shall not prevail in their evil schemes against them. The only problem I have with Jeb is his association with Akume George the thief. I can chronicle some of his criminal activities while at the helm of affairs in Benue State. Somehow, the prosecution lawyers at the EFCC always fail to prove their cases beyond reasonable doubt since Ribadu left office and officials of the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation always meddle in major cases to thwart the cause of justice.

However, the recent blanket allegations made against the NASS by the father of  thieves and the doyen of Corruption Nigeria gives the impression that all who are in the NASS are criminals. I dare say 'Nay!' There are still some persons of impeccable character in the NASS. Truly, Obasanjo is right if his assertion is that there are some of them who are criminals just as most of the party chieftains are and he should know better as he is their father and mentor who used them to achieve evil goals and selfish ambition. Besides, while he was president, he had incriminating intelligence reports on some of these characters and their mentors in question. But, I think I prefer a repentant thief to one who pretends all is well. In this light, I see Obasanjo as an old man who is preparing to be gathered to his fathers and seeks to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

The onus rests on the NASS to look inwards to purge themselves of the criminals who are so many, especially in the Senate. I can personally point out a number of them who, despite all the money at their disposal, both legitimate and criminally acquired, are high profile criminals and 419 kingpins and experts at issuing dude cheques. Why are Nigerians pretending not to know? Some of you have even been victims of these crooks several times.

As for his statement that they are better than the police, he is right. Who does not know that?

If only this 'baba' will also tell us how to retrieve all that he has stolen so we can channel it all for true development, he would have succeeded in doing restitution and heavens and us would forgive him his sins and ask him to go and sin no more. That is the part we are waiting for him to do.

It does not matter how much you donate to the church or mosque or how much works of charity you indulge in, in as much as the money you have is stolen through armed robbery, blackmailing others and sending them to their death, abuse of state powers or of privileges of your office or through duping others or by bloodshed and rituals or any other such means including taking what you know outright is not yours, you are a thief and there is no amount of rationalization that can change the fact that you are a bonafide thief.

Don't let wicked men masquerading as pastors and imams deceive you. Their prayers for you are of no effect no matter how verbose and high sounding they are with ecstatic displays. Until you do restitution, you remain what you are: an authentic and bonafide thief, onyara, ole, barawo! Whether you like it or not, you and Baba God go get gbege!

It does not also matter how many people you succeed in paying to dance for you also. You remain a thief! Period!

Unfounded and misplaced pride are the food of fools. However, while you choose to be humble, do not cast your pearls before swines. Jesus said tobe mild as a dove but cautious as a serpent.

While we are expected to be meek and kind, we are not expected to be stupid and scum of the earth.

That reminds me I've been meaning to ask this question, "What do serpernts do to people when they are caused to become cautious?"

The summary of it all is that this generation of Nigerians have themselves to blame for what the nation has become.

Its simply unimaginable where the greed of some fueled by laziness and unbridled quest for filthy lucre has led this country - people who simply cannot grasp the fundamentals of economy and happenings in the polity and they just don't care.

Many danced to the tunes of dogs during t...he campaigns and hearkened to the voices of Swines who actually said nothing and could not even demonstrate the minutest evidence of vision and understanding of the way forward.

While we watch this rapid slide and more pigs pay piglets to fight those who want what is right for the nation and equally for them also, history will judge us fairly or adversely for our lackadaisical attitudes.

Whether we like it or not, the truth has fled our religious houses. A vile thing: corruption has built its throne in the lives of congregations and their shepherds who no longer speak the truth neither are they willing to repent of their evil roles.

I repeat, all those who have made it their business to ruin Nigeria continuously will end up in ruins to the 100th generation. If the poor man on the streets , in their own opinion, deserves to die like stray chickens, so also will they be slaughtered across the length and breadth of this country.

Just as their foolish actions have caused many to writhe in pains and groan under avoidable lack despite so much God has given us, so shall their end be and all their children and children's children shall beg for bread on the streets.

Just as they kill and cripple and maim innocent Nigerians everyday and abuse state power, messing up the lives of generations without the slightest feeling of compunction, so shall others be raised to do same to their children and their children's children.

Just as the make a mess of our heritage and our economy, so also shall their personal incomes, savings, businesses and affairs be ruined and no explanation can be found for the mess their lives shall become.

If these things are good for Nigerians, it is good for all including the president, the governors, the party chieftains and all their children and the pastors and imams who offer support to evil men for filthy lucre and so shall it be.

Whoever loves wisdom makes his father rejoice; but a companion of harlots wastes his wealth. (Proverbs 29)

The righteous considers the cause of the poor, but the wicked does not understand such knowledge. (Proverbs 29:7)

Open your mouth for the speechless, in the cause of all who are appointed to die. Open your mouth, judge righteously and plead the cause of the poor and needy. (Proverbs 31:8,9)

Walk prudently when you go to the house of God; and draw near to hear rather than to give the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they do evil. (Ecclesiastes 5:1)

It is not our fault. We shall continue to fight the cause of the down-trodden and condemn wickedness in high places no matter how many fools come online including pastors and imams who speak through proxies like Satan through the serpent to fight us even with concrete evidence they do not have demonstrable capacity to understand the critical issues at stake and their sole impetus is filthy lucre!

Let those who said we were wrong about the killer Boko Haram eat their words and bury their heads in shame. Who is Austine Effiong a confessed Boko Haram member? Who is John caught yesterday trying to blow up Radio House, Abuja? Are they Christians or Hausa/Fulani Muslims?

Where are those who wanted us to kill innocent Nigerians for crimes they did not commit?

When some religious leaders throw their hats in the ring in a political contest, some people mouth gibberish and hurl insults at them even when it is obvious these men in question like Pastor Tunde Bakare have no skeletons in their cupboards and have been known to work assiduously in the interest of the common man. However, when men like El-Rufai urge religious leaders to stay out of politics so they could be trusted and respected when it comes to dispute resolution, the same set of mad dogs call him unprintable names.

Why are Nigerians such architects of their sufferings in the hands of maggots. Worse still, these maggots know that they can always get some Nigerians who exhibit unbelievable stupidity to roll out the drums for them.

I was in Lokoja a few days ago and I came face to face with stark naked reality about the quality of people who drum support for failure. In the same hotel where I stayed, a lady from Okrika who lives in Gwarimpa Estate in Abuja was blabbing away about GEJ's non-existent achievements. She was simply asked by her host to name some of the achievements and she resorted to cursing and breaking bottles.

Interestingly, this same lady had consumed 6 bottles of Star Lager beer while her host and his friends were on their second bottles. She was a human chimney as she smoked endlessly and asked for more and more sticks and I stared at her so bewildered.

The night before, she had fought with her lesbian friend who happens to be an Igalla girl. She had broken bottles of Vodka and beer in an attempt to stab her 'lesbo' girlfriend for hanging out with some guy at the bar that evening.

It is not a surprise, therefore, that it is this quality of minds - so poor- who are sent by fellow drunkards and social misfits and truants who lodge in Nicon Hilton and sleep with them who come online to insult men of impeccable integrity.

Some mothers sure do have 'em!

Do you know this lady I'm talking about is such an old popular prostitute in Gwarimpa Estate?

I have decided to cast my vote for Muhammadu Buhari come 2015. Nigeria needs an urgent surgical operation!

Do you think if Buhari was truly guilty of all the lies these evil men in power have told against him, he would still be a free man by now. I don't think there is anyone of us on this thread right now who is a child. We are all living witnesses of all that transpired that period. The truth is, many, especially the apostles of Corruption Nigeria PLC are scared to death of a Buhari in power. That is the crux of the matter. By the special Grace of God, the people will put him in power come 2015. Wickedness will not continue to hold this land hostage. Let those who feel they own power for 60 years know that they are liars and all their plans will crumble as God has no such pact with them.

Yams have certain characteristics. For yam to be consumable by human beings, it must be possible to soften it through the cooking process.

Yams that never get cooked are not human-friendly and may only be thrown out for goats to eat up.

So, if you decide to present yourself as Yam, just be sure you possess the right qualities or you may be spewed from the mouth at every single bite.

A woman or man who is not humble but too pompous and arrogant loses valuable friendship due to a false and over bloated sense of self worth. God opposes the proud!

He who spends so much time waiting to hurt the innocent whose achievements he is envious of wastes valuable time he could have devoted to realistic strategy and concrete steps to become a force to reckon with also.

Unfortunately, he is so obsessed with doing another in until it is too late in the day to take the right steps. Fortunately, he whom he  seeks to destroy only becomes better and better at what makes him tick because he spares no time for another man's destruction.

The governors from all the states and some Nigerians as well as the political parties still do not realize that what we need is not where the president comes from, but that the best man from any part of Nigeria should become president. It is so shameful that with all the degrees we possess these days, all we end up doing is reducing matters of utmost importance to mere tribalism and bare idiocy!

Reuben Abati has actually eaten from the pie of madness and he doles it out in generous quantities and that amazes me.

Patience is a critical virtue for winners. The man who goes about wanting everything at once loses out on vital details for strategy. Such a man is bound to make costly mistakes and often tries to measure up to friends and people he admires whose true source of livelihood and consequently whose true standing in society he does not really know. Many are just pretenders and capitalize on your ignorance to even cheat you because you accord swines respect they do not deserve just because they flaunt nonexistent or stolen wealth at you. The recent events in the polity speak volumes and we have since discovered that we have very hungry men who work on their image through the Press and present a false picture about themselves to us. They are not successful afterall and do not even possess the certificates they claimed they had.

In the end, they are nothing but thieves and ignominious liars!

Is that what you want to be also? Do you want to pursue short cuts to become rich and famous and to please some people who would rather you became a disgrace than a true child of God and a hero you ought to be conquering the odds of life by faith and by righteousness? Have you ever stopped to think that if we all pursued wealth so wrongly by hook and crook, life would become even more unbearable and brutish as even our brothers and sisters and children and spouses would become objects for sacrifice to demons for mundane gains with a lot of pains disguised as wealth? We do not need to look too far to see these things.

The Scriptures are clear. The righteous shall live by faith. Faith proves the power of God at work in us.

I am just wondering what many would do, who deny God while claiming to be a Christian and wondering if He really cares just because of momentary trials and lack of food, when the great tribulation comes when satan will unleash his forces to war with the seed of God redeemed by Jesus' ransom sacrifice?

Oh, I get it! You have not been told you will be tried and that you have to prove yourself faithful to the things of God for though you are in the world, you truly are not of this world and God has given you immense power by His Holy Spirit to overcome and be more than conquerors by Christ! You have only been told you would be prosperous and that the road to heaven is smooth!

Remember Jesus' words, "Broad and spacious is the road that leads to destruction. But narrow is the road that leads to eternal life and only those who exert themselves will get to the end."

The broad and spacious road accommodates many and all form of lifestyles that conform to the world and it's easy to travel on and so many will naturally select it. But, the narrow road is cramped and tiny and you have to walk circumspectly so you do not fall off that road.

Think about this and ask yourself what kind of Christian are you?

Don't really understand this. But it happened today again. Right from when I was a very little boy, I have been mistakened for so many things. I have once been mistakened for a Reverend Father or a pastor even when I was barely old enough to be one.

I remember vividly when I was about 8 years old how some elderly persons would fall on the ground and prostrate. It happened several times and each time I would run home to tell my grand mum. Could they have mistakened that little boy for someone else?

I also recall how visitors to the house always thought I was a girl and would always ask for that girl. Even when I started working, the Corporate Affairs Manager thought I was a girl even when I was dressed as a man.

I have been mistakened for Nosa in Behind the Clouds when I was even a young teenager and could not have been Nosa. In fact, shortly after Nosa died, I was going somewhere around Ikeja and some girls who were doing their laundry outside that Saturday suddenly started shouting, "See Nosa! See Nosa!" and a crowd was gathering. I had to quicken my steps lest I be mistakened for his ghost (I don't believe in that rubbish anyway).

I have even boarded buses for which I was not allowed to pay my fare just because I supposedly look like some relative. Somehow, people seem to think I look like some person. I'm beginning to wonder if I somehow transform.

Today, while I was walking down to a store this morning, I saw a group of men talking and pointing at me and their talk was animated and they were so excited.  They were smiling and waving at me. Curious about what was going on, I asked if we had ever met and the reply I got was, "We thought you were that guy on Etisalat advert." I have no idea what the guy looks like. I must tune in to our local stations to see for myself.

God help me not to look like some wanted criminal! It is not my portion o! I reject am!

Right now, I am standing right in front of a mirror trying to fathom out why I look like several people at different times and at the same time. I just noticed I look a lot fresher. Hmmm! God must be doing something to me!

A CALL TO SALVAGE OUR HERITAGE

Fellow compatriots!

These are desperate times. These are avoidable trying moments caused by the wickedness of a few. More than ever, Nigeria is at crossroads.

At one time, it was the resources from Northern Nigeria that sustained the  colony and protectorates of Northern and Southern Nigeria as well as the resourcefulness of the Igbo man and the Yoruba man that sustained and nurtured the entire nation. The evidence is still there till this day in the deep gashes into the bellies of the earth to extract minerals for export in Northern Nigeria over many years before independence and long before oil was discovered in Oloibiri in 1956. Until this very present second, not a dime has been paid to Northern Nigeria by way of compensation for loss of farm and animal grazing lands and other economic activities neither is any form of derivation funds given to that part of the country in spite of the fact that till this very second, mineral exploration is still going on in the Northern states for export and local construction work which contribute to national revenue.

We are living witnesses of so many atrocities perpetrated against innocent Nigerians across the land. We have seen greedy men who had sold their lives to Satan and embraced alcoholism and the marrying of wives and sale of their brethren into slavery for mere pittance in exchange for jewelry, gold and petty ephemeral things for a living. While the going was good, they did not develop their lands, neither did they care. They impoverished their brethren and they migrated to many parts in Nigeria along riverine areas and persistently fomented trouble with their benevolent hosts. Our recent history is replete with so much of the crises and blood shed they have brought to our land from time immemorial and yet they did not develop their lands. From the colonial period to this day, they have had eminent persons in government and so much money has been given to them through various forms of formulas over time, so much more than to any other part of the country, but their leaders feast on the monies and failed to develop their lands. They did not build hospitals or schools neither did they provide even pipe borne water for their people. Many in the riverine communities died of curable diseases that were believed to be curses from the gods as they believe so much in puerile gods and excessive witchcraft who have brought them no progress but foolishness. All they needed were drugs and simple surgical operations which their leaders failed to provide for them.

Erudite and well respected Nigerians from their land including the late Ken Saro Wiwa of blessed memory took up their plight and fought it in civilized way. They began to score modest successes until the fight over sharing of financial largesse doled out generously to them by oil concerns and  the federal government tore them apart and led them to slaughter one another and there was a lot of back stabbing and betrayal of a legitimate cause as can be seen in the antecedents of their leaders in times past and even very recently. This led eventually to the illegal execution of their genuine freedom fighters who had been set up by their kith and kin who provided substantial evidence against them by the military government of Gen. Sani Abacha.

Then the real betrayers of the cause from the inner creeks, men who did absolutely nothing for a living but ran the business of killing, kidnapping and bombing of critical infrastructure and all forms of economic sabotage including oil bunkering took over. For many years, they killed and maimed and raped. They worked hand-in-gloves with their traditional rulers and governors not to do the needful to provide essential infrastructure but to share the monies from political patronage, the death enterprise including bombing, from oil companies Community Social Responsibility efforts, kidnapping and illegal oil bunkering. In addition, they had also infiltrated military formations to procure weapons of mass destruction illegally for millions of Naira. They chose to embrace crime of various sorts as a means of livelihood. Every kobo given to them for the development of their lands was hijacked and shared consistently for many years resulting in their present state of underdevelopment. The notorious arms cartel also was birthed by them.

Initially, they tore at each other's throats until criminal governors including two indicted and jailed persons united them for the purpose of the evils of kidnapping, increased economic sabotage and so much more while they pretended to negotiate with the boys for the release of hostages.

When their son, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan had the privilege by virtue of Late President Umaru Musa Yar'dua's (of blessed memory) demise troublesome elements who claim to speak for the North but speak for themselves -- senile men who had lost their commonsense and who had betrayed their people over the years stealing the resources also meant for the development of their lands, made so much irrelevant noise and sought to breach the provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on ascendancy to the Presidency and consequently deny President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, well meaning Nigerians from the South and part of the North, including yours sincerely, lashed out at Adamu Ciroma and called him unprintable names which he deserved for his stupid and senseless statements that made it look like ascension to the presidency was the exclusive preserve of the North (not the real North of our law abiding and hard working Northern brothers and sisters but a few lunatics who had always been at the corridors of power and felt they alone had that right). We insisted that the provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria were sacred and in as much as they had not been amended, the provisions must be respected and Jonathan must be sworn in as substantive president. We did this in good faith for the following reasons:

1. If the provisions of the constitution were flouted to do otherwise, it would be a bad precedence and could lead to the collapse of the republic as anyone seeking to breach it further at any other time would readily cite that instance to advance evil causes.

2. In line with the foregoing, it was done to retain some level of civilization in our discourse. Instead, what do we find? We find a blame game like little babies in diapers and senseless talk about killing each other.

3. We saw youthfulness in the person of Goodluck Jonathan and we felt he was well educated.

4. We did not see religion or ethnicity as criterion,  but it was the general opinion that other parts of the country should have a go at the presidency.

5. We also felt that this would also pacify the people of the Niger Delta and give them a sense of belonging to have had their son and our brother in power to complete the Late President's tenure as they had both run on a joint ticket.

We watched carefully to see him perform and as months went by, we saw instead the systematic plundering of the nation's resources mindlessly and we saw monumental theft of funds within the first 9 months as the man who had no shoes and his boys stole with both hands and legs systematically while Olusegun Aganga and Chukwuma Soludo and consequently Sanusi Lamido Sanusi watched. Our reserves for the rainy day were looted dry leaving barely about $400m in just 9 months. We saw no plans to truly develop infrastructure and we saw prodigious gains from oil sales coming in everyday in trillions of Naira and yet nothing in terms of vision to move the nation forward. We gleaned from the CBN Quarterly Reports for the period and noticed the alarming rate at which we were losing money to official graft. We saw a monumental rise in internal debts and a return to external borrowing for no just investment purpose. We screamed at the top of our voices. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala also screamed. Soludo Chukwuma also screamed. Obiageli Ezekwesili also screamed but my country men chose to be deaf, believed lies and concocted figures about key economic indices and falsified figures based on false premises about growth for positive Fitch rating. We also saw an attempt to fraudulently revise our GDP benchmark figures by the Federal Office of Statistics just because Ghana did same and forgetting that thriving industries under the Obasanjo tenure were dying and all we were getting were vibrant kidnapping, bombing and robbery industries as well as the notorious merchants of death who traded in arms and bombs. The tone was indeed set for what we experience today.

We are living witnesses of all that ensued as the polity was heated up to fever pitch over irrelevant talk of mad people and many Nigerians took sides and allowed sentiments to reign and overpower commonsense. Today, we are regaled daily but sadly with sordid and blood chilling details and revelations of our pandering to sentiments above the dictates of reason and commonsense.

As at the time of the preparations for the 2011 Elections, this government still had no concrete plans to do anything in particular and all we heard from a serious presidential candidate who had better opportunity to show case outstanding achievements during the campaign had none but kept on telling us that he did not want to make promises but we will see what he will do after so many broken promises. We saw a president who ran away from debates with his co-contestants. Of course, we are seeing the things he said he would do everyday in the mayhem that has taken over our land.

The entire nation was rocked to its roots with the bomb blast on October 1, 2010 on Independence Day. Prior to the celebrations, we had woken up one morning to find disdainful posts that smirk of tendentious propaganda against our brothers and sisters in the North claiming they had poisoned some food stuff and another claiming they were planning to cause mayhem and to kill Nigerians from the South. Many of us saw through the lies and made posts to counter the claims of evil men who turned out to be Niger Delta militants.

We witnessed the theatre of absurdities when MEND claimed responsibility for the two blasts that killed innocent Nigerians including security agents at the scene. We saw a president who defended MEND frantically and absolved the killers of complicity. We also noticed how he and his henchmen in the security agencies quickly laid the blame at the doorsteps of his political opponents who were not present at the Eagle Square. We heard puerile lies and saw intrigues as they tried to rope in persons from the North of Nigeria culminating in the arrest of Chief Raymond Dokpesi who happened to be the Campaign Director for Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida all with a view to roping in innocent people and to ensure they could not contest in the Presidential Elections in 2011 while the president claimed he would not contest. But we began to smell trouble when a band of professional Abuja prostitutes lined the streets and began to mouth obscenities saying they would deprive their husbands and boyfriends of sex if President Jonathan did not declare. Then we also saw for the first time in the nation's history, the strangest patrons of this government, the National Association of Nigerian Witches who declared their support for their president. It was all in the dailies. It was not a surprise for some of us when the bloodshed started. We saw an unprecedented camaraderie among pastors and imams and witches for the first time ever. That is for another day.

Eventually, Mr. President and his team admitted it was MEND when the facts on the ground could have consumed him and this led to the arrest of Henry Okah and his supposed cohorts in Nigeria here one of whom has died. That is also for another day.

The questions that arise are, why would an innocent president become the defender and spokesman of terrorists and absolve them of complicity? Why was Chief Raymond Dokpesi branded a terrorist by Marilyn Ogah and her team at the SSS as well as the Presidency be embraced by the President and the PDP as Deputy Campaign Director of the Jonathan-Sambo Presidential Campaign Organization and all charges were dropped against him - a man who had been implicated through some supposed call log brandished by the SSS as having direct dealings with the masterminds of the October 1, 2010 bomb blasts? What happened to the call logs? Were they not substantial evidence to arraign him in court? The fact is that the call logs were false - concocted by the SSS as an avenue to clamp down on co-contestants from the North.

Nigerians never asked salient questions. We consequently witnessed a systematic onslaught and destruction of infrastructure and trade and commerce and industry in the North since then while Niger Delta militants became boisterous like school boys whose elder brothers had just bought new shoes they never had for. We saw attempts at compromising the territorial integrity of the nation and consequently the sovereignty of the nation in an attempt to contract security of our water ways to illiterate active Niger Delta militant when we have the Navy empowered by the constitution to protect our territorial waters.

We also saw a fraudulent document christened Power Road Map which was hurriedly put together as a package to win the elections. We pointed out the flaws but Nigerians clapped and shut their eyes to it all and now we are faced with the stark naked reality: trillions of Naira wasted and absolutely nothing was achieved. To present a front of doing something about it, they quickly rushed to Germany to sign contracts they intend to borrow money to finance and no one is held responsible for the monies frittered away on phony projects.

The grievances of Boko Haram were hijacked as an avenue to cause more mayhem and to attack Catholic Churches where the Igbos were in the majority. The logic is simple. The greatest threat to their achieving their goals of  secession was Northern Nigeria. It would be easier and cause them less casualty to cause a crisis between the Igbos and Hausa/Fulanis of the North if they believed that the North was the mastermind of the bomb blasts and the grievances of Boko Haram provided a ready alibi. Testimonies abound including those of Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah of Christians of Southern origin who had been caught attempting to plant bombs in churches. A christian of Southern origin was also caught who had been the supplier and link to suppliers for materials used for bomb making. Explosives used for mining activities had been used illegitimately in Jos by both camps to the protracted fray over there.

Supposed masterminds had been caught including Sen. Ali Ndume supposedly implicated by a lunatic who was hurriedly jailed by a magistrate court judge on frivolous charges other than terrorist crimes as Marilyn Ogah had told the nation in a nationwide broadcast. We also saw a Senior Advocate of Nigeria manning the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice who did not know that a case of such significance should not be tried in a magistrate court but in a high court. We also saw an Attorney General of the Federation, Mohammed Adoke, who did not know how to write and file proper terrorist charges against the accused but instead filed charges for crimes other than terrorism. Recall that Sen. Ali Ndume had been vocal against Mr. President's plan to remove subsidy on petroleum products.

During this period, huge profits were made by the president's men and so much extra budgetary spending and illicit loans were obtained secretly to procure cameras in breach of constitutional provisions.

Lawlessness became the order of the day and all we kept on hearing was 'We are on top of the situation' while hundreds of Nigerians are being killed in their hundreds until this day.

We went into December with high hopes things would take a different turn in 2012. Instead, the systematic killings continued. Bishops and miracle workers lost and lousy prophets lost their ability to see visions and to prophesy accurately about a matter as urgent and as close to God's heart as the killing of innocent Nigerians. That again is for another day.

Even without salaries and under harsh economic conditions, many Nigerians managed to celebrate Christmas and the New Year with their loved ones praying for better things in 2012 only to be heartlessly slapped in the face by the president and his cabinet of over fattened pigs - too fattened from looting the treasury to think and to consider the plight of an already battered populace - with removal of subsidy on PMS. Many people were stranded in their villages and could not afford transportation fares back to their stations where they were employed with miserly salaries. So much state funds were expended to host town hall meetings and seminars and conferences in which we saw full grown adults who go to church and mosques lie to us without the slightest feeling of compunction. We saw Havard degree wielding professionals lie from both sides of their mouths when it was obvious what they were doing amounted to fraud of monumental proportions. Nigerians filed out in their thousands to fight for their rights insisting that the government must revert back to N65 per litre against the N141 per litre they illegally imposed on us. Businesses began to crumble and banks are sacking their personnel in hundreds as a direct fall out of this mess. We saw an uncultured and ill bred Information Minister mouth gibberish from both sides of his mouth even worse than a military general. We saw how a genuine cause was given evil meanings by the president's men. Hard working Nigerians who had never taken any government contract but have concrete proofs of what they do for a living unlike them in government were given bad names and they pitched the security agents against the people, killing them for fighting for their just rights. Innocent Nigerians were to be branded terrorists.

In the end, Nigerians were proved right after all and they have since tried frantically to kill the reports that indicted government officials and their proxies in oil companies that stole over $3bn. To add insult to injury, the disgusting Adoke who also has oil interests has the temerity to tell us - Nigerians, the true Sovereign - no one will be tried for the theft of monumental proportions.

This must not stand!

Nigerians, there is a need to sink our differences and fight these monsters to a standstill.

If you choose to stand aloof in spite of evidence they consume more than half of the nation's budget in salaries and perks of office as well as their children school fees, their health bills, their cost of fueling fuel guzzling vehicles, the cost of lodging prostitutes in guest houses, the cost of lodging economic parasites and liabilities in presidential suites in choice hotels in large numbers and so much more, you will be the worst for it. This is not fair.

This demon of corruption must be crushed completely and ruthlessly and sent packing from our land.

Or shall  we sit down and watch as the country finally grinds to a halt? If you think secession is the way, wait until you succeed and discover in the end some are only looking for smaller spheres to wield enormous powers over you and to continue business as usual.

Arise O Nigerians! Reclaim your heritage! Let us cleanse this paradise for maggots and restore our land and to put it on the path of greatness now! If you let this mess continue, you will suffer more. God forbids but that is the true reality or have you all stashed off enough money in foreign accounts and investments even in places like Ghana like they have?

You must fight and recover what is rightfully yours and channel it appropriately for development.

Now that the truth is rearing it's head on who the real cuprits behind Boko Haram are who are killing our brethren everyday since October 1, 2010, where are the doubters?  Where are the evil men who are paid to tell lies online and pour gibberish from their mouths? May those evil fingers freeze on their keypads or keyboards and refuse to straighten out next time they try to turn black into white with pathological lies! How much money can make some people so stupid, heartless and senseless defending wickedness perpetrated by the president and his men against fellow Nigerians who are sacrificed to demons everyday? Wicked souls! May God do to each and everyone of you and your entire households as you have done to hundreds of innocent Nigerians who have been killed wantonly! What wickedness!

Just watching Cheaters on E Africa Channel and I see those who choose to cheat on their spouses are quite heartless. They do not even have the slightest feeling of compunction. The hurting partner can hang for all they care.

To make matters worse, the laws in the Western world make more women marital disasters than free women.

What is the world turning into?

When a thief is caught, even when confronted with rock-solid evidence of his crime, he will either claim that the devil pushed him into the act or he would deny he ever did it.

Reuben Abati's weak statement on the latest revelation against his boss and his band of rogues and killers is not only an insult but gives clear evidence these guys are unrepentant and wicked and amounts to a denial of invaluable evidences that have been rife in the polity since October 1, 2010 which more than 150 million Nigerians are living witnesses of.

What a shame!

Let the killer kill no more. Let the thief steal no more. Let the wicked stop bringing curses upon themselves, their loved ones and their descendants  to the 100th generation. Let those who dare the Most High know that the blood of the innocent shall be avenged upon them and their entire households. Not one will be spared. If you think you have horns on your head or you created yourself, defy this. The entire nation will witness your destruction in public and all will know that God avenged the blood of the innocent upon you!

Sure you are all having a great day out there. May God prosper your genuine efforts in spite of all odds. May you find joy and purpose and fulfilment in the work of your hands.

Remember, that which is not yours is not yours and there is no justification to take it. Be it money, another man's wife/husband or property. That is covetousness and fleshly lust. It is not only displeasing to God, it brings hurt to people and makes them miserable.

Even if he/she makes a pass at you, learn to look away and to rebuff firmly. It's never a difficult thing to do. You have no business being nice to someone who wants you to do the wrong thing.

Could it be money in the office lying carelessly in the records and no one would find out you were the one who took it? Walk away. The counterfeit to steal your blessings always comes before the real. The counterfeit is momentary. The real lasts forever. If you have taken it go and put it back. You will not die of hunger. God will pave ways for you to survive.

Could it be money you found on the road or in a car and you have been bery hungry and had been praying for a rain of blessings from heaven? That is not the blessing. If you take it, you are stealing, no doubt. Return the money to the owner and if you do not know the rightful owner, take it to the radio station and tell them to announce it and the owner should come claim it with proof of ownership. Don't even tell them the amount.

Don't take it to Nigeria police o!

You will prosper and enjoy lasting peace on all sides.

Those who trouble the soul of this nation will be rounded up by God. Do not lose your sleep.

It is well with you all spirit, soul and body!

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Ciao!

Oh my God! To say I am short of words is an under-estimation of how I really feel. Our nation is ruled by dumb murderers and pathological liars. I have read the entire affidavit deposed to by Mr. Henry Okah and the rest of the pieces of the bizarre puzzle just fall into place.

I had not even seen this months ago when I unmasked the Killer Boko Haram and uncovered all the porous lies the security agents had fed us with.

From the curiously unsigned autopsy reports by the supposed pathologists to fraudulent photos of the crime scenes to the quality of photos presented by a government that is serious about proving a case against a terrorist to poor documentation about equipment procured for the crime to handling of witnesses in Nigeria who were not given access to legal representation in an issue as severe as terrorism down to the substantiable calls from the president's men and aides as well as substantiable itinerary of these men as well as substantiable evidence of calls they made to the accused, it is clear more than ever that the murderers of our brethren are Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and his band of criminals. A man who uses the apparatus zof state to propagate hate and to cause disaffection and the death of hundreds of citizens is not fit to remain in office.

To make matters worse, since this news broke out, I see grossly incompetent persons who are talking utter gibberish when they actually lack capacity to :-)comprehend the minutest issue related to the case what with rock-solid evidence we have available as we are all living witnesses to what transpired.

It also clears my doubt about why Asari Dokubo released his expose that also implictated him and key government officials in the crime of terrorism inadvertently shortly after Orkah was arrested. Why did he not reveal all these things when Orkah was a free man?

I intend to do a throrough analysis of the document this weekend  and to cite evidences we all know and witnessed that corroborate these facts.

Nigerians, over to you.

What is happy about the workers day when you are not sure when you will be blown up in your office, when you are not sure whether you will come back home? What is happy about the workers day when many are being sacked for no fault of theirs but due to wicked government policy to inflict sufferings on the masses while they have much more to themselves to steal?Someone please tell me!

Everyday, we are regaled with more and more sordid details of failure of leadership. We pointed out even before the elections that the Power Road Map was a fraud put together to loot the treasury and to win the elections. Coincidentally, that was all the President had to give us in 13 months after he succeeded the late Yardie of blessed memory. We pointed out all the pitfalls including gas supply and many more on this wall and many will bear witness to that. Today, we are faced with what was inevitable: billions wssted to achieve nothing and much also wasted to travel to Germany to sign contracts and no one is held accountable. The reason is not far fetched. The monies went back to their pockets by proxy and phony contractors.Guess what? When they eventually have sufficient gas supply after waiting forever and much more money stolen in the name of providing a gas distribution network, they are going to tell us the incomplete plants (they claim they are complete) have become dysfunctional and new contracts will be awarded to acquire refurbished parts at the cost of new ones and to install them. For how long are we going to allow this vicious cycle of stupidity to continue?

Let me make a passionate appeal to the new kids on the block operating as Boko Haram to please sheathe their swords. We know how bitter you guys are what with all the mess perpetrated by agents of state who orchestrated a killing machinery that killed and maimed innocent people and blamed it on Boko Haram. There was also poorly orchestrated propaganda to cover up the mess. Some of your political leaders up North have capitalized on the unbridled insults that followed to set you guys up to do what you are doing now in anger. We have watched as your brothers were summarily executed when they knew nothing and all that it took to be branded Boko Haram was an overflowing caftan and a beard or acquiline nose or a sign you were a Muslim. We also saw how some swines from the South South insulted you guys and threatened fire and brimstone when you guys were the victim and were even bewildered by the happenings as many innocent persons were maimed. We saw how they detonated the first set of bombs in Abuja and quickly blamed it on you guys with Mr. President as the chief liar Even when he knew his boys did it.Please, for the sake of peace and innocent Nigerians do not be caught in the web of wickedness the fools in government perpetrated against you. God's judgement is against them. Please, for the sake of Allah, let the bloodshed cease and spare innocent Nigerians of all faiths who are themselves also victims of bad leadership just as you are. This is the time more than ever for all Nigerians to put their differences aside and deal decisively with these idiots who profit from ruining our heritage and to demand accountability from all of the big fools in government from the local government level down to the federal level. These are the true enemies of Nigeria and not your brothers from the North, South, East and West who work hard against all odds to eke out a living in tears and pains and vain hopes it would be better one day. Let me tell you that it will be better today and nothing is going to stop it.History beckons and we owe it a duty to ourselves and future generations to turn the tides against these heartless animals across the length and breadth of this country. We cannot afford to fail God. We must recover all the loot and rebuild our nation rid of those pigs.

The lackadaisical attitude to the menace of bombing by this government and all the foot shuffling and slow decisions were a function of the fact that government was involved in the mess and the Presidency and the security agents were in the know of what was going on as a poorly planned systematic onslaught on the North.

Their refusal to rein in their sponsored operatives led to an escalation of violence of the sort we witness today.

They and the security agents and the governors who have been the chief conveners and sponsors of violence should repent, confess their sins and make amends so the process of reconciliation can commence.

What they launched out to do as child's play to muzzle the opposition and to win elections by hook and crook, maiming innocent potential voters is about to consume them. Unfortunately, they want to drag everyone into the fray.

DETAILED INVESTIGATION OF THE ISD JAJI

In the course of investigation of the OSD Jaji incident, the following facts emerged:

a. Maj SA Akubo and his accomplices have been supplying arms to Mr Sunday Bowei Okah for onward transfer to the Niger Delta militants from the year 2000 to 2007 (about 7 years).

b. The arms were systematically stolen from 1BODK and 1OSD Jaji over the years and details of what has actually been stolen has not been ascertained.

c. Confession of Maj Akubo reveal that the quantity of arms received by Mr Bowei by Maj Akubo is estimated to be between 6000 to 7000 arms of all types including rifles (all types), GMPGs, UMGs and rocket launchers.

d. Mr. Bowei paid Maj Akubo monies cummulatively put at over =N=100 million for the arms deals.

The above is an extract from the report at Army Headquarters indicting the then Chief of Army Staff and Jonathan's boys. That Chief of Army Staff then is today the National Security Adviser who ensured that the report was swept under the carpet. The security agencies have long been neck-deep involved in militancy. Interestingly, this same man is the one who coordinates all security efforts and clears all security agents involved in the recent mess including the immediate past IGP and CP Biu who were granted blissful retirements instead of jail sentences  despite their complicity in the disappearance of Kabiru Sokoto, the alleged mastermind of the Madala bombings in December, 2011. It is interesting that to date, the man has not been tried in any court of law having been supposedly held in custody for more than 2 months now.

The question is, did those thefts and sales to Niger Delta militants happen or not? What was his responsibility of the COAS in such circumstances? To look the other way or to ensure the culprits were punished?

As it were, crimes that amount to treason were committed and the security of the nation was compromised under his watch threatening the sovereignty of the state.

The Glory of the Lord is risen! I see Satan fall like ligtning - a defeated foe and all his agents. The ruler of this world has no power over me. Jehovah reigns!

Arise, O Nigerians! Jehovah reigns and the Scepter of Righteousness breaks the jaws of the enemy and rules the land!

God Himself fights for you and you shall stand and see the salvation of the Most High.

The killers of our brethren will be exposed from the valleys to the caves and the crannies of foreign lands, they are all being brought to book.

Do not fret. Only be diligent and reverence the Most High!

His hands are stretched forth and His angels of war have the command to route the entire land and to purge it through and through.

The blood of the innocent cry out to Him and the Glory of His face shines down upon our land.

Not one of these killers and their backers will escape the wrath of Jehovah, the maker of the entire universe! By this, you will know that He is God is all the earth and able to save alone!

When we were pointing out the lies and evils and direct fall outs of subsidy removal in job losses and salary cuts, many Nigerians thought we were trouble makers and the government recruited idiots including bank MDs and members of the economic team who do not buy fuel to tell blatant lies and now businesses operating under harsher economic conditions including the banks are sacking their employees in droves while some organization embark on salary cuts and will eventually downsize anyway. These things do not require the services of a prophet to see. It is simple Economics - fundamental Economics. These consequences were obvious.

“The whole notion that somehow, by some dysfunctional philosophy, we can still line up and say: it is our turn to govern Nigeria, that is not the way the rest of the world is going. I appeal to us to appreciate the fact that the problems of this nation were not caused by President Goodluck Jonathan. But I think what is also quite fascinating is that the rot that is being dug out in the National Assembly is happening during his time.“Nigeria has consistently produced office holders but not leaders. Nigeria has produced through different processes, men and women who came to power and office largely by accident. Check out the list: Tafawa Balewa-Ironsi-Gowon-Murtala-Obasanjo-Shagari-Buhari-Babangida-Shonekan-Abacha-Abdusalam-Obasanjo-Yar’adua-Jonathan. None of these great men came to office with any degree of preparation or experience in governance." - Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah

What more can I say? Otito koro! The Truth is bitter but sweet to them that love life!

Many were only made to recite man made poems and were declared born again. They were not led to The Christ but to a performing magician who presented himself as the solution to all problems. They are like houses built on the wrong foundation. Instead of walking in victory through thick and thin, they remain babies with stunted growth and praise God when there is money and recent his praises when they are faced with hardship. Their lives were built with straw and hay and stubble that cannot resist fire. The fruits of the Holy Spirit including patience, long suffering and many more are not in them as they are not born of the spirit evidenced in the transformation of their lives and the renewal of their minds and the indispensable testimony of Jesus by which they will overcome all things.

Now everything that happens to a man is reduced to the activities of witches and wizards and demons. Where is the place of the trials and tribulations that prove righteousness and the fire of refinement that prove our love for God? They operate by the same standards as the witch doctors many of whom have transformed their shrines into Churches today.

These men who wear Jerry curls and grow serpentine goatees and wear fat rings and hand chains have brought excessive pollution into the House of God, building mighty cathedrals where there is no God and seeing visions from their bellies and fail to stand in the gap for the congregations.

Their fall and judgement will be very great. God Himself will restore the Body of Christ He founded. These charismatic zoos will crumble. Where is Anwuzia the fraudster today? Very soon these ones will tell us homosexuality is approved of God.

Therefore, the Apostles sought to focus on the nitty-gritty of soul-winning, praying for the flock and minsitering to their spiritual needs - all of these the very essence of their calling. In this regard, they appointed men filled with the Holy Spirit over the physical needs of the Body of Christ who managed Church funds from tithes and offerings and voluntary (note, voluntary) donation and from these they ministered to Tue needs of the widows, orphans and the needy and there was a disincentive in the funds handlers to steal church funds and to appropriate it to themselves what with the debacle of Ananias and Saphira.

The requisite qualifications of these men were stated as follows:1. They ought to be filled with the Holy Spirit.2. They ought to demonstrate exemplary living standards and should be above reproach and this should be evidenced in the lives of their spouses and their children so the Gospel may not be spoken of abusively. 3. Thy ought to be husbands of one wife.4. They ought to be men who had been in the faith and had attained maturity, not babes in Christ or new converts.

The Church has left all these instructions to appoint professional prostitutes and fornicators and adulterers and even idolaters as Cell Leaders, Ushers and Choir members and 419 kingpins are appointed pastors and chairmen and members of building committees who cannot bring down the glory of God and so the shepherds now rely on man made postulations and uninspired church programmes and fasting and prayer sessions to maintain a stranglehold on members. Those who do wrong are not rebuked in public as an example to others but are accorded privileged access to the throne of grace for their donations. Thus the power of the church is weakened and all forms of licentiousness and moral lsciviousness reigns in the church just because we are supposed to be under grave. Pastors who commit grave sins are pardoned by church members who ought to run for their lives all in the name of grace and the pastor acquiesces to the crime of his congregation also as they are not perfect beings and under grace. Therefore, there has been a mutual collusion of those who lead with those who are led to compromise the laws of God as they are under grace. They forget that the grace of God was not given to perfect sins but to enable us overcome sin. Any wonder the church is no longer powerful today! But God will do what He will do. He will restore His Church!

Post Merge: April 30, 2012, 12:02:34 PM
The shepherds slept and indulged in drunken revelry and were marrying and were being married and did not notice when the enemy crept in. They watered down the Gospel in the name of winning souls and this is the direct consequence. Besides, there have been a lot of infighting as those with gifts are debarred from operating as the "daddy GO" wants to be seen as the ultimate and so many migrate to set up their own church without a calling based on a gift and not the complete instruments for ministry. There are also fights over church funds and schemings to get rid of other pastors who had toiled to establish thriving parishes by favoured sons of the G. O. No one wants to go to rural areas to preach the Gospel. Now we even have marriage ministries.

Is Dr. Bukola Saraki on the run?

This thing is quite simple. If he is not guilty, he should be eager and excited about clearing his name once and for all time.

Just thinking, don't you think these Senior Adversaries (they call themselves advocates) of Nigeria should begin to be treated as persona non gratia and stripped of their honour in this country? From notorious Aondookaa to dubious Adoke down to the Professors of law who defended T(C)hief Ibori and got Bank(ole) reprieve, they have become a disgrace to thr nation and should be prosecuted and jailed from now on like Ibori's lawyer for helping themselves to monies looted from the treasury under the guise of doing a professional job defending thieves by hook and crook and misleading the courts of the land. As for their counterparts and co-accomplices who are supposedly learned judges, they should be stripped and treated with ignominy.

Draw me closer
Lord,  my heart is set on you
And I stand upon your Truth
Bringing glory unto you
And let the peace of God
Let it reign

For more of You
Rise up within me
Let me know Your Truth

Saturate my soul
And let the light of God
Fill me now

The night draws near. Mend your ways now. Chief Anenih, an old man puts his house in order before he is gathered to his fathers. Right your wrongs now and take your hands off filth.

If you think you love him more than your husband who applies discipline in bringing up a renegade child, then you have to have a rethink. He will pick up a knife and stab you one day.

You must be united with your spouse in applying discipline at all times. Stop grooming liabilities and wayward persons as children.

That reminds me, why do you ladies seem to think it is your responsibility to cater for a full grown man who chooses to be irresponsible just because you are his sister whom he expects to sell her body to provide for him?

That guy is going to be a huge problem to you and your spouse tomorrow.

It's ok for you to love him and pray for him, but he must learn responsibility and he cannot when you spoon-feed him.

The organized protest against the fuel subsidy report and its recommendations is a sure sign that criminals in high places including the Presidency, Ministers and operators in the oil industry would do everything to subvert the course of justice.

The nonchalant attitude of the President to the dictates of commonsense on a sensitive national issue as this when he ought to have applied horse whip and given the law full bite leaves a sour taste in our mouths.

If Nigerians are truly worth their salt, then this mess must be resisted at all costs and the law must be allowed to take its course no matter whose ox is gored.

As for the shameless protesters, they have demonstrated beyond reasonable doubts that they are not worth being called human beings but monsters and ill-bred monkeys from the pits of hell. For God's sake, how much is your honour worth? How much bribe money can make some people so stupid?

When you stand for the truth, you will lose friends. You might even lose your wife or husband too. But, the real question is, is salvation worth losing for these things?

I prefer to lose all things that I might gain Christ.

If it was not possible to overcome sin (as many of us are wont to believe just because we seem helpless and consistently goof in certain areas) then the death of Jesus would be futile. In fact, the Scriptures call Jesus' ransom sacrifice a better propitiatory sacrifice.

The truth is that the day you are truly born again - the day you truly have an encounter with the Holy Spirit and have your mind renewed by the Word of God, you can never be the same again as it sets in motion unavoidable transformation that increases the sensitivity and power of your spirit man to subdue the demands of the flesh.

Unfortunately, many today only recite lifeless poems read to them by some pastors after which they are declared by man as born again and they go about perpetrating all kinds of evils in the name of God under the pretext that they are imperfect and under Grace. What Grace? Grace to remain stupid and in sin?

How then are we a light to the world when we even doubt the redemptive power of the Blood of Jesus by our speech and actions? What then is the role of the Holy Spirit whom Jesus said would be our helper and would remind us of all the things that matter? It is obvious many do not really have an encounter with the Holy Spirit. They are part of a growing congregation of miracle seekers and not ones who really are in it to please God. Many are in it for want of what to eat, drink and do for a living.

If you continue in sin, you have not been redeemed. Stop insulting God with your deliberate filthiness.

Above all things, you should desire that the full value of the ransom sacrifice of Jesus be brought to bear upon your life. That is the greatest miracle you need and then all the signs and wonders shall follow you genuinely and not by hook and crook.

How then are we the salt of the earth and not part of the world? Do we deny Chirst's redemptive power because we have been fed over the years with puerile lies by some pastors who make it look like the Christian race would be a bed of roses and that there would be no trials and tribulations? God expects to raise a people who are an exception and not conformant to the ways of the world - a generation that chooses to be different in the midst of so much rot - a true remnant of light bearers.

Ain't it amazing how far from the Gospel of Christ many Christians are today? It's amazing how much error has crept into the Church. The reasons are not far-fetched: Shepherds are asleep and kow-tow to the Spirit of compromise to gain members. Whoever told you everyone would be saved!

It's so amazing how even professing Christians are ignorant about the laws of God and they are there in black and white. Same way many are ignorant about the provisions of the Constitution and so do not know their rights.

Walking in error gives legal rights to the devil to make incursions into the lives of believers who do not walk in the light of truth!

Post Merge: April 24, 2012, 11:03:44 AM
The burden of truth can be quite heavy. Sometimes, I do feel like Jonah who was too scared to say what he was sent to say. Sometimes, you wonder, who is going to believe you, You ask yourself, are they not going to stone you?

But, the truth cannot be shut up in your bones. You'll simply explode and what you refused to say will be said by you in the end.

It is even worse when it involves lives and the Spirit of God attaches great urgency to the task.

In the process of delivering the message sometimes you find that you are also a recipient of that message also and you are astounded and wondering how you got to know this yourself.

But, I have since learned to obey. I have been a victim of my recalcitrance and resistance 3 times and I just consider that I would be a fool to shut it up in me anymore. I also realize that God does not speak for nothing. He always fulfills His Word.

I am usually so amazed and awed by His Spirit.

God lives and He still speaks to those He loves. It's just that, many of us have stopped listening and have perfected disobedience and so the Spirit of Error takes over. Unfortunately too, the lives of many are like mighty, dazzling structures with poor foundations that come crumbling at the slightest pressure. You might need to revisit the foundation of your faith to see these things. I tell you without fear of equivocation that God reigns and He still heals the sick, raises the dead and breaks open the prison doors of ignorance.

There is only one person who wants you to be ignorant and he has done everything over the years to frustrate the Gospel of Truth and instead has spun all kinds of falsehood and bastardized Gospel that has taken over the Church because the Shepherds are asleep and have fallen from the way.

The Master and exalted King Jesus is coming to cleanse His household. Kiss the Son now in the good and acceptable year of the Lord when you can seek His face lest you perish.

I have been with Him, I have seen Him, I have felt His touch and He has healed my soul and redeemed it for His purpose. My earnest prayer is that you see Him and come to an understanding of His Word. That is the greatest power you can ever acquire. I have watched Him fight my battles. Even when I went astray, He always had a way of getting me to retrace my steps. And someone dares to tell me there is no God? who have I been with then?

Who has touched my life so much and personally raised me for His Glory? Who is that person who warned me to leave Jos two weeks before the unimaginable crises that engulfed the state? Who was it who revealed to me that Chief Joshua Dariye had sold the soul of the state to the devil through an Indian cult shortly before his beloved wife went mad and was secretly flown abroad when she stumbled on the secret inadvertently? Who was it who bore witness to my heart that led to the healing of a number of persons including my former school mate? Who was it that saved me from an accident when I kept calling on His name even when I was dying and rescued me from a long drawn coma that lasted for months and I came out of that ghastly motor accident without a deep scar? Who was it who appeared to me shortly after I left Secondary School and fought a beast that held me down while I was awake in the bedroom and I was passing out and all I could say under my breath (I actually lost my voice) was "Jesus, save me"? Who was it that appeared in t he sky in clothed in impeccable white garment of light and had a girdle around His waist and hugging part of His chest and His eyes were like burning flames of fire and His hair was pure, unblemished glowing white and He had a Sword with which He delivered me? How did myriads of angels start to pray for me even in my darkest hours?

I can go on and on. Do not be deceived! Do not be fooled. God reigns and He seeks to reconcile you to Himself. Only the devil wants you to remain ignorant so He could drag you to hell!

I am a living testimony of God's greatness! What about you?

If in this age and time some still consider their fellow human beings to be inferior and outcasts, then they need to have their heads examined thoroughly or better still they need special rooms in an asylum.

If you asked me, I think people with such mentality are themselves imprisoned by traditions spun by some lunatic years ago who said the gods said so when the gods are actually deaf and dumb creations of the craftsmen. Unfortunately, even with so much evidence that these traditions are products of sick and demented minds of yesteryear, people still carry on with them without questioning the rationale for them.

For God's sake, all men are born free and should remain free and never enslaved by their fellowmen.

It is unacceptable and disgusting in the sight of God.

The supposed relocation of Boko Haram suspects to Lagos is a clear attempt by the masquerades pretending to be Boko Haram and who have killed many in the name of the group to extend the mayhem to Lagos State and to strike strategic locations in the West in the name of the group.

We will begin to hear blood-chilling stories about why bombs went off in parts of the West of Nigeria including falsehood about attempts to free the prisoners by the Boko Haram group.

The people of the West of Nigeria must reject this move and resist it by all means!

I have had reasons to talk recently about awards and how even the most stupid and disgusting persons, especially government officials, get listed.

Just a few days after that post, we hear that President Jonathan made the Times List of 100 most influential persons.

I really think that Times Magazine somehow missed the true meaning of influence. However, let me state categorically that these nominations and awards are usually bought.

I have seen enough of the fraud in all these ratings to even worry about these things! It's all a fraud!

Ah! He actually said so! Pastor Chris Oyakhilome actually did say those things attributed to him lately.

Truly, the Bible is silent about the subjects of Masturbation and Smoking. However, the Bible is clear on the subject of drinking. From cover to cover, no portion of the Bible says 'Thou shall not drink!'

However, the Bible did talk about the need not to indulge in excessive use of alcohol or not to get drunk same way it emphasizes the need not to abuse food or to eat excessively too. In fact, the Bible frowns against gluttony which many a professing Christian indulges in today without the slightest feeling of compunction. In fact, this is one of the key factors inducing sloppy attitude to prayers and spurring negligence to do what is needful in standing in the gap for the Church in some pastors.

The Scriptures are clear that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and so we ought to avoid anything that causes defilement. Specifically, smoking does not only defile the body, it destroys the person also.

One more thing, the Apostle Paul in his writing to Timothy talked about those whom God had given over to the flesh as they left the natural use of themselves and become inflamed with one another. Masturbation is unnatural as it is usually indulged in by people who have high-level insecurity problems and other forms of psychological problems that bar them (so to speak) from summoning courage to reach out to someone of the opposite sex. It is really an abnormal behaviour. Besides, it destroys marriages and stifles ability to build normal and virile relationships with the opposite sex ('the natural use of themselves' so to speak).

Apart from the damages excessive indulgence in alcoholism does to the human brain and liver, it is often a cause for untold embarrassment not befitting for a bearer of the Light of God.  You only need to imagine how seriously anyone would take a preacher who is drooling over  and walks in spasmodic shudders having lost total control of his senses and under the influence. You can imagine a child of God muttering gibberish and obscenities under the influence!

The real truth is that many who indulge in those practices do so as some kind of 'Opium' for their soul especially in trouble times.

What they really do need is the love and touch of God through diligent shepherds who beam the power of God to save. Unfortunately though, many of such shepherds actually mislead the flock and cause them to sin against God by capitalizing on their vulnerabilities and sorry states to lure them to bed in hidden choice hotels in many places.

I think I will soon start listing the erring imams, alfas, pastors, deacons and elders and even reverend fathers who lure sisters to bed in the name of spiritual counseling and those who keep a long list of concubines and even travel to far away lands where they cannot be identified to indulge in such wickedness.

I have a long list of such supposed men of God and a list of victims in the past and recently.

A member, who would not allow his name associated with the position, even said the House could possibly probe the leakage of the report when it resumes plenary session. He saw the leakage prior to the presentation as sabotage that must be unraveled by the House, noting that the members, who drafted the report should have some explanation to make to the House." - Daily Sun

In whatever you do, do not neglect the needy around you. Even your Widow's mite can change some life out there. Many are going through untold suffering. You may not have noticed them. They are all around you. I think that is a better tithe unto God than to fatten fatheaded Cows of Bashan who run personal empires and enterprises for religious bodies.

Do you know that tithes and offerings were originally meant for the common good of congregation members? That is what the Scriptures mean by 'so that there is meat in the House of God.' It is not so that one man becomes Chairman and Managing Director of some business enterprise masquerading as church or mosque.

In fact, under the Law, even farmers were required to leave a part of their produces for the needy.

In Acts of the Apostles, we saw members of the Body of Christ make willing and heartfelt contributions to the Church and how certain chosen men were given charge of administering the funds in catering for the needy, widows and orphans and for contributions to assist distant churches during periods of disaster. Today, one man owns it all and decides who takes over from him when he is dead - most likely his wife.

Post Merge: April 19, 2012, 10:12:26 AM
Still on the subject of masturbation, it is pertinent to state that it is an unusual and abnormal behaviour indulged in mostly by people with psychological problems of low self-esteem and excessive sexual libido. The truth is that many seek to justify the wrong things they do and try to give it modern meaning and to make them become stylish and fashionable in self-consolation. Some have issues with reaching out to the opposite sex and fear rejection. Some have had very bad relationships in the past and concluded that it is better to be alone and so they resort to masturbation as a means of self-gratification. Even in his writings to the Body of Christ, Apostle Paul under the unction of the Holy Spirit did urge them to encourage young widows to remarry so they do not start behaving improperly. If masturbation was not sinful, they would have been encouraged to continue to live alone and may be masturbate.

Masturbation and smoking and excessive drinking are not just bad habits as Pastor Chris put it. They are destructive engagements that ruin people and embarrass God. They ought not to be mentioned among God's people. They constitute defilement of the body which is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

What Pastor Chris has done amounts to giving free reign to millions who listen to him as a minister to explore obscenities and habits that profane God.

Post Merge: April 19, 2012, 10:19:33 AM
Even before God gave his people laws, Joseph already knew it was wrong to sleep with another man's wife and fled from Potiphar's wife. I guess Pastor Chris would have (if he existed at that time) seen nothing wrong with that. That's why Paul in his writings talked about those who were before the law being laws to themselves and had no excuses for their excesses. There were no written laws at the time yet it was a sin for Cain to murder Abel. I guess Pastor Chris would not have seen anything wrong with that if he was alive then. Paul in one of his writings did encourage children of God to pursue whatever things were pure, chaste, modest and pleasing to God. Masturbation, smoking and excessive drinking just as excessive eating all violate the thrust of God's Word and expressed Will in the Scriptures through and through.
