Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

MESSAGE

The primary purpose of Wholeness Through Christ is to enable people to live in a life-transforming relationship with Jesus Christ. Transformation start when you give your life to God by becoming born again Christian’’giving your life to Jesus Christ’’ ,It also follows the pattern of believers whose lives are daily entrusted and submitted to God. (James 4:7,John15:4; Colossians 2:7) Embedded and nurtured in Jesus and guided and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

We have been called out of this world in order to become citizens of another world: the Kingdom of God. That Kingdom begins now, in this life, continues after we leave this world, and will reach its consummation at the Second Coming of our Saviour. In order to dwell in that Kingdom, to be its citizens, we must be transformed. (Romans 8:8; Ephesians 3:16) The goal of transformation is Christ likeness. God wants us to be like Jesus and to reflect His glory. (2 Corinthians 3:18). The process of transformation is sanctification and involves the renewal of our spirits, souls and bodies.(1 Thessalonians 5 : 23 & 24)

Christians are being inwardly changed day by day. The transformation of our lives is accomplished by the activity of the Holy Spirit and our choice in desiring to be like Jesus. " 2 Corinthians 5:17 if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Our union with God is a continual transformation into the likeness of God, which is the likeness of Christ.’’

Christ offered Himself on the Cross as a sacrifice for us. In order to truly know Christ, we must enter into His self-emptying and offer a sacrifice in return. An inward sacrifice which is the act and sign of our love for God and neighbor. It is the sacrifice of our hearts and minds to God. The sacrifice of our egos, our pride, our earthly attachments and our passions. The sacrifice of our time and energy for our fellow human beings, to whom we dedicate ourselves for the sake of Christ.

As we respond to the Lord's work and submit to Him, the Spirit reveals the will of the Father and applies the work of the son. He shows us the broken patterns in our lives and helps us to experience the freedom that we need. He brings His grace and healing where we are wounded; His truth and freedom where we are bound; His forgiveness and correction where we are disobedient; and His light and release where we are oppressed .We experience God's transforming work in our lives as we fix our eyes on Jesus and walk with him in every situation. As we make active in our own lives the truth of the gospel. 2 Corinthians 3:17 we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord."
Galatians 2:20"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."

Romans 8:1-8 "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God."

Finally, "If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For your flesh died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory."

May the grace of our Lord continue to transform us in Jesus Name. Amen.
