Bible says when GOD turns our captivity around it will be like a dream,because ruin and wastes are the expectation from captivity.
We need to believe that GOD can use us and people around us to rebuild the ruins and wastes. Isaiah 58:12: "Those from among you shall build the old waste places; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, the Restorer of Streets to Dwell In." "Those from among you …" That’s us!!
God calls us Repairers and Restorers because we need to restore people to their calling, their path, so that they can be planted and walk in it again. God wants us to see ourselves walking in what He has promised us and His will . We can remind God of His promises. "Remember the word to Your servant, upon which You have caused me to hope" (Ps. 119:49).
Isaiah 58:12 And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
