Governors yesterday spoke on their role in the elevation of Acting President Goodluck Jonathan.

They said that contrary to media report they did not enter into any secret deal with Jonathan before he was elevated.

In a statement by their chairman, Kwara State Governor Bukola Saraki, they described the report entitled: "Jonathan, Governors in secret deal" as "misleading and mischievours".
