Vacancies exist in our organization for legal officers and company secretarial assistants who meet the following requirements:
EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
LL.B, B.L (a minimum of second class upper division will be preferable while an LL.M will be an added advantage)
Any other professional qualifications/certification may be useful
WORK EXPERIENCE:
LEGAL OFFICERS- at least 4 years post-call active practice [commercial/transactional] in a reputable law firm or respectable corporate setting
COMPANY SECRETERIAL ASSISTANTS – at least 10 years post-call active practice [commercial/transactional] in a reputable law firm or respectable corporate setting with exposure to company secretarial practice
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS
• Articulacy & research inclination
• Dexterity in documentation reviews and draftsmanship
• Powerful writing and spoken communication skills
• Speedy transaction appreciation, analysis and interpretation
• Good knowledge of laws and regulations governing the Nigerian financial services sector
• A good understanding of Nigerian corporate secretarial practice, especially statutory meetings, returns and filing
• Managerial traits and proven organizational strengths
