Let me re-read my Bible properly because i have never seen any line mentioning Christmas and i do not really think it exists or of any significance.

What is Christmas?

To many it a season of festivity and nothing more than that
To another it a time of vacation from daily activity
To some it’s the celebration of birth of our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ

I don’t know what you believe about the celebration but I sure know one thing is not just an ordinary celebration like the other ones.

But I wont like to wait much of your time reading history on how it start because I do know it would bore must of us… so I would like to go straight to the point…about what the season is all about it’s a season of giving you could say I don’t have enough to give but do you know you have some things you don’t make use of anymore why don’t you give that out and stop complaining about them “ a trash in a house might just be a treasure in another house”, it’s a of sharing not just money or material things but intangible things like love and affection some people are there very close to us depressed and dejected why don’t you say a word of encouragement to brighten them…

Have you ever thought about how Christ came, he never came in form of a rich but he humbled himself and was given birth to in a house where horses are kept and none of us was given birth to in such an emulating way.

Importance of His birth

•   To reveal God Matt 1:21
•   To bridge gap between God and man Col 1:21
•   To rescue the whole creation Rom 8:19-22
•   Redeem sinners from unrighteousness 1Jn 5:17
•   To destroy the work of the devil 1Jn 3:8
•   To reveal and give everlasting life Jn 14:27
•   To give abundant life Jn 10:10
•   To lead us to God 1pt 3:18
•   To the everlasting love of God Mark 14

Beloved friends and foes am not writing to sweet talk you about the gospel but to let you know that you are living life by design and not from crisis to crisis. You are a star, a peculiar being, a component of excellence and as ambassadors of Christ we should show forth is light in our habits, character and daily living many are watching you though you may say to yourself, am not popular and famous but someone is looking up to you don’t let Christ down have a blessed Christmas…
