Son: ”Our father which art in heaven…..”
The Father: yes
Son: Don’t Interrupt me am praying.
The Father: But you called me.
Son: Called you? I didn’t call you am praying.“Our father which art in heaven…..”
The Father: There you did it again.
Son: Did what? –
The Father: Called me. You said “Our father which art in heaven…..” Here I am. What’s on your mind?
Son: But I didn’t mean anything by it. I was, you know, just saying my prayers for the day. I always say the Lord’s Prayer. It makes me feel good kind of like getting a duty done.
The Father: – All right. Go on.
Son: “Hallowed be thy name….”
The Father: Hold it. What do you mean by that?
Son: By what?
The Father: By “Hallowed be thy name….”?
Son: It means…it means…Good grief, I don’t know what it means. How should I know? It’s just a part of the prayer. By the way what does it mean?
The Father: It means honored, holy, and wonderful.
Son: Hey, that makes sense. I never thought about what hallowed means before
The Father: Ok go on
Son: “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven”
The Father: You think so...
Son: "Give us our daily bread"
The Father: Just stop that the only reason you say it just for the bread
